We're probably never going to get that real, actual ABBA reunion we all desperately want, so we will just have to make do with virtual Agnetha, Benny, Bjorn and Fridas instead.
The iconic pop group split up all the way back in 1982 and have occasionally had one-f reunions over the years.
However, it looks like they WILL be coming back together for a tour in 2019... but through the medium virtual reality.
"We see each other every now and then, we've done a few different things, and now we've got a project ahead us," Benny Andersson told Swedish paper Expressen.
"It will take a bit time, it takes time to digitalize a face," the former band member further explained. "It's fun that it's so technologically advanced. It will be interesting."
While it seems they want to once again bring joy into the lives fans, which we're all for, not getting the real thing seems a tad underwhelming (there may be some money, money, money in it, though).
However, we cannot imagine the tour format has anything to do with reports that they don't get on these days *ahem*.
ABBA first announced the "original entertainment experience" project last year, Benny explaining at the time: "We're inspired by the limitless possibilities what the future holds and are loving being a part creating something new and dramatic here.
"A time machine that captures the essence who we were. And are."
Frida Lyngstad added: "Our fans around the world are always asking us to reform and so I hope this new ABBA creation will excite them as much as it excites me!"
