While doing promo for her upcoming album, Dirty Computer, Monae revealed to Rolling Stone that she identifies as Pansexual.
People who identify as pansexual are “not limited in sexual choice with regard to biological sex, gender, or gender identity.” Janelle’s little Droids wasted no time showing their support for the Queen on social media:
We’re so glad Ms Monae is living her truth. Now we can let the Tessa Thompson rumors be as they are.
But the Hidden Figures star isn’t the only celebrity to be candid about her sexuality. Check out the gallery below star who identify as Pansexual.
After years staying private, Kelis is finally speaking out about her past relationship with Nas, and according to her, it was filled with “really intense highs and really intense lows.”
“There was a lot mental and physical abuse,” the singer turned chef told Hollywood Unlocked. “It was never normal. An intense high would be when money was rolling in. But I was 22 when I met him. We were drinking a lot, getting high a lot. So when that comes down, it was bad.”
Nas and Kelis met at a MTV Video Music Awards after-party in 2002 and were married in 2005, according to E!.
Kelis went on to describe the physical abuse in their relationship saying, “Did he hit me?…..Mmm hmmm. Did I hit him back?…..Mmm hmmm.”
She said it was Rihanna‘s 2009 domestic violence incident with Chris Brown that finally pushed her to divorce Nas — this and the fact that she was pregnant and didn’t want to bring her son into the drama.
“When the Rihanna and Chris Brown pictures came out I thought about coming out because I also had bruises all over my body,” she said. “But I didn’t say anything because I’m private. But seeing her the way she looked and then looking at myself… I felt embarrassed.”
When considering other women going through similar situations, Kelis said, “Women can’t be afraid to fight.”

U.S. soccer fans who were hoping for a “slight return,” will have to have wait and see if their President’s words were in violation a strict FIFA code. The U.S. Soccer Federation has been campaigning with Mexico and Canada on a joint North American bid for the hosting privileges the 2026 World Cup. Decisions the like are ten made several years, to incur the costs preparation.
In tweeting his support the bid, Donald Trump may have committed illegal tampering. FIFA rules prohibit “any undue influence on the outcome,” for their decision making process. The irony is that a cleaning house never occurred after FIFA broke their own mandates in 2015. The FIFA Corruption Scandal uncovered several accepted bribes from high ranking ficials, one which counted towards the 2010 South Africa bid to the tune $10 million.
FIFA issued a statement pointing to the general rule book, in response to Trump’s public endorsement: “As a general rule, we cannot comment on specific statements in connection with the bidding process.”
“We can only refer to the FIFA Regulations for the selection the venue for the final competition the 2026 FIFA World Cup, and in particular to the Bid Rules Conduct incorporated therein.” Their statement does not necessarily read as a denunciation, but if the proposed bid falls through, we’ll know where to point. Thank you Mr. President.

Tekashi 6ix9ine likely won’t be bragging about this on social media. On Saturday (April 28), TMZ reported the polarizing rainbow-haired rapper has been dropped from his $4.9 million deal with TUNES Audio.
According to a TUNES Audio rep, 6ix9ine’s close affiliation to a recent shooting cost him the contract.
“At this time it is in the best interest our company to move on,” the rep said. “We wish him well, he’s a great artist.”
Earlier this month, the DAY69 rapper and his crew were allegedly involved in a shooting at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center during the Adrian Broner vs. Jessie Vargas fight. 6ix9ine’s manager Tr3yway is now a person interest and police are currently investigating the alleged incident.

The 1994 film the same name, which stars Winona Ryder, Ethan Hawke, and Ben Stiller, also inspired the album. “I love the movie,” she added. “It’s a coming–age story, mainly about a chick who’s caught between what looks good on paper relationship-wise versus what her heart tells her to do. As women, we all face that at some point.”

By now, we’re all use to Kanye‘s krazy outbursts — but this time, he forced our guy Chance The Rapper to chime in, and his response had many questioning “is he canceled next?”
As #YeMeltdown2K18 took place on Twitter this week, the celebrity world became divided into stars who couldn’t believe the things Kanye was saying, to folks who sort agree with his POV. Unfortunately, Chano was the latter:
That brought a lot Chance haters to the surface:
Chance isn’t the only star that folks are looking to cancel. Daniel Caesar is also on people’s radar for his support problematic tweets and his support Candace Owens.
Oh, and Cyhi The Prynce, just stop it:
Everyone is allowed their freedom to say whatever they please; but once an artists use that power to support dangerous rhetoric — that’s when we start to prepare the drinks for their cancellation party.
If you’re beginning to grow tired the Kanye West and Donald Trump bro-fest, here’s a bromance that is much more hilarious and rewarding. Deadpool 2 hits theaters next month, which means somewhere, Ryan Reynolds is prancing around in his Deadpool costume causing mayhem and making people laugh. It’s honestly one the most ingenious, and cost-efficient, publicity moves ever, as all Reynolds has to do is show up somewhere unexpected in the costume and make a few jokes. That is exactly what he did while Hugh Jackman was trying to record a special birthday video for a fan.
Jackman was attempting to record himself giving a happy birthday message to a fan on Twitter from his hotel room on Friday, but he is abruptly interrupted by Deadpool, who is laying on the bed behind him singing ‘”Tomorrow” from Annie. “When you’re trying to record a heartfelt birthday message …. but are interrupted by the least greatest showman,” wrote Jackman in the Twitter post the hilarious clip. “Don’t give him too much attention,” he states as Deadpool continues to sing. Before the video ends, Deadpool segues into a rendition “Who Let The Dogs Out,” in which Jackman can’t help but join in.
Rae Sremmurd is having a big day. The duo Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi announced the ficial release date for their long-awaited triple-disc album SR3MM, which will include a group project as well as Swae’s SwaeCation and Jxm’s Jxmtroduction. Additionally, the Mississipi pair teased an upcoming short film to accompany the album with a trippy trailer. As they prepare themselves for the release their album next week, Swae and Jxmmi have unveiled the first installment their short film today.
“SR3MM: Chapter One” begins with Slim Jxmmi praying, apologizing to God for his lack communication over the last little while. The rapper gives thanks for the important things in life. You know… tacos, weed, beer, women and more. He ends his prayer session by asking God to look after his little brother Swae Lee (and possibly recover the phone he dropped in the toilet at Coachella.) The camera cuts to Swae in bed with a woman, waking up to incessant doorbell ringing. Both Swae and Jxm make their way to the door to see what’s going on, only to be met by the father the woman in Swae’s room.
The video ends with somewhat a cliffhanger, leaving the audience to imagine what will happen next during the adventures Swae and Jxmmi. Watch the video below and keep an eye out for Chapter 2.
