50 Cent Fan Sends Him $10K Worth Of Alcohol For His Birthday

This weekend, 50 Cent celebrated his birthday and he was lucky enough to get some gifts from his fans, friends and family. We all know that Fiddy will treat himself whenever he pleases and he’s always begging his rivals to pay him interest on what they owe him. He’s obsessed with getting his paper up. The thought consumes his brain on a regular basis. When he hit the club for his special day, the rapper ended the night with a big smile on his face because he could finally be fiscally responsible. He’s not exactly frugal but whenever he has a chance to spend somebody else’s money, Curtis will jump at the chance. While he probably makes way more bank than even his richest fan, one person decided to spoil Fif by spending $10K on him, making sure he drinks free all night.

Considering the fact that he ends every single one his social posts with the same hashtags, you won’t be surprised to hear that he was sipping from bottles Le Chemin du Roi all night, his own brand bubbly. According to Page Six, Jackson was very happy with the fan’s gift, keeping a smile on his face all night long. “He was dancing and partying when the parade arrived and seemed extremely happy,” said a source that was with him at Rockwell in Miami.

50 Cent was reportedly surrounded by women at the club but he didn’t particularly seem smitten by any them. Instead, he enjoyed the night and rang in his forty-fourth year with a bang.

Kanye West Fights To Get “Ultralight Beam" Case Dismissed

Kanye West is still fighting to get the lawsuit surrounding his 2016 album The Life Pablo dismissed. As we previously posted, Ye grabbed a voice clip from a video a little girl praying in a car to use as the intro for the album’s first track “Ultra Lightbeam.” Kanye cleared the sample with the girl’s biological parents but it wasn’t until after that the girl’s adoptive parents sued Kanye, detailing in their lawsuit how they have the rights to the sample.

Andrew and Shirley Green adopted Natalie in 2012 and while Kanye seemingly had no intentions going to the wrong party to get the sample, it has come back to haunt him. The Blast now reports that Kanye is fighting to get the case by Andrew and Shirley dismissed and admits to no wrongdoing. He’s also asking the parents to cover his legal bills. It seems as though Kanye has stated that his lawyer is the one who reached out to Natalie’s biological mother, so the issue with the lawsuit could be a mistake made by his legal team.

There’s no word on just what kind damages Andrew and Shirley are asking to be covered but at the moment the case is still ongoing.

Within five hours of sharing the post, it received over 15,000 likes and close to 700 comments. While most people agree with Tyrese’s sentiments, there were a few who pointed out he hasn’t released a hit since 2002.

The song they are referring to is “How You Gonna Act Like That” from Tyrese’s 2002 album I Wanna Go There. The track peaked at No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100 and remains his most successful single to date. The YouTube video has since racked up over 115 million views.

Tyrese’s latest project, Black Rose, was released in 2015. He’s working on a new album called Identify Theft, which is expected to arrive sometime this year.

In between acting gigs and other endeavors, he’s also been ghostwriting for other artists. He made the admission during a 2017 interview with The Breakfast Club.

Half-Black Rapper Pulls Out Detroit Festival After Learning White People Pay More

Detroit, MI – Burgeoning Detroit rapper Tiny Jag pulled out of the AfroFuture Fest music festival last week when she found out “non-POCs” were paying more than people of color.

According to the Metro Times, she was outraged when a white friend of hers sent a screenshot Instagram showing the ticket price discrepancy. She learned the early bird POC ticket was $10 while the early bird “non-POC” ticket cost $20.

“I was immediately enraged just because I am biracial,” she said. “I have family members that would have, under those circumstances, been subjected to something that I would not ever want them to be in … especially not because of anything that I have going on.”

Once Tiny Jag confirmed the festival’s ticket structure, she immediately canceled her appearance and asked organizers to remove her name from any promotional materials. During her interview with the Metro Times, she said it would be particularly offensive to her grandmother who is white.

“A lot of the songs that I perform are from my first project called Polly — that is my grandmother’s name,” she explained. “How do you want me to come to a performance and perform these songs off a mixtape that is titled after this white woman that you would have charged double to get in here? Like, it’s just outrageous from so many different angles.”

The AfroFutureFest explained their model on their Events Brite page.

Following the backlash, it appears the AfroFuture Fest has tweaked its ticket structure. On Sunday (July 7), organizers took to the AfroFuture Fest Twitter account to break down the new pricing.

“For the safety of our community, family, elders who received threats from white supremacists,& youth who were subjected to seeing racist comments on our IG pg,” the post reads. “Afrofuture Fest has changed our ticketing model to $20 General Admission & suggested donation for nonPOC on @eventbrite.”

Tiny Jag issued an apology to her fans and admitted it was a tough decision.

“It’s not fun to withdraw out of shows, especially at home, especially in your hometown, and especially when your supporters have been so good to you,” she said. “It’s also not fun to do that to my fellow Black women, like that sucks too. It sucks that this is a thing that’s put a wedge here.”

Just a couple weeks ago fans were sure that Stevie J and Faith Evans had called it quits just before their one-year wedding anniversary. Stevie had shared a number cryptic tweets on Twitter writing how “ones insecurities can damage them,” as well as, “cherish what you love just know nothing will last forever.”

It looks like those rumors can now be put to bed since TMZ caught up with the couple as they headed out Essence Festival in New Orleans and looked to be pretty okay. The publication asked them if there was trouble in paradise, leading Stevie to kiss Faith on the cheek asking “what does this look like?”
