Adrien Broner Refuses To Pay 50 Cent By Monday: "I Ain’t Giving You Sh*t"

Beefing with 50 Cent never ends well for anyone involved, except Fif. The rapper has no problems clowning anyone on social media which at this point seems like his day job. If you’ve followed his Instagram, you’re well aware that anyone who owes him money will end up getting roasted until they pay up. Most recently, he got into it with Adrien Broner because the boxer apparently lost him money. Despite this, AB still asked to borrow a million dollars. Fty came out, claiming the boxer owed him for his loss but AB isn’t budging.

Adrien Broner undoubtedly likes to show out but with Fif breathing down his back about his alleged debt, the boxer decided to troll back the rapper. He took to the ‘Gram to announce his weekend plans which include throwing a light $20K before letting Fif know that he won’t have any money for him by Monday. “@50cent I’m throwing another $20K tonight n***a and I ain’t giving you shit on Monday,” he wrote.

In other 50 Cent-related news, the rapper announced on Instagram that he was going to be going to receive a Hollywood Walk Of Fame star next year for his contributions to music, film, and television. There’s no doubt that Fif deserves this high-level recognition. After all, he did bless us with both Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ the album and film.

Kevin Spacey Accuser Provides Text Messages From Night Of Incident

In an update to the ongoing case against Kevin Spacey, the, then-teen, accuser has provided texts made to his girlfriend from the night the incident. A court filing made public on Thursday has revealed that the accuser had been texting updates to his girlfriend throughout the night.

“He’s grabbing my leg and s–t,” the boy wrote at one point, “Help me,” reads another. The night began as a seemingly innocuous celebrity run-in, with the girlfriend messaging earlier “Plz take a selfie with him at some point.” but as the night goes on, the texts reveal an uncomfortable turn.

Eventually, the messages reach a point where the boy writes, “He’s buying me another drink,” “He’s gotten me so many,” and “I’m drunk.” The chain is finally interrupted by “He grabbed my d–k.”

The girlfriend’s reaction can be summed up by one her messages, “What the f–k is happening.”

Spacey’s defensive team has responded by noting that only one the text messages was time stamped and claiming the advances were not unwelcome, stating the accuser “never uses any language to indicate the interaction was unwelcome.”

The defense has also requested the cell-phone be presented for forensic examination, but accuser’s lawyer has said the phone is missing.

Spacey was charged with indecent assault and battery for allegedly groping the, then eighteen-year-old busboy in July 2016. As an alleged sexual assault victim, outlets are not reporting the accuser’s name.

Gordon Ramsay’s Interested In Hopping On Lil Nas X "Panini" Remix

Lil Nas X is fresh f the release his latest project, 7which arrived earlier this morning. Led by the massive hit single, “Old Town Road,” fans didn’t necessarily know what to expect from him. Yesterday, he released the single, “Panini” a few hours before dropping his album. The song has nothing to do with the grilled sandwich and everything to do with the character Panini from Chowder. Nonetheless, he took to Twitter to request some help on the single from one the most celebrated chefs in the world.

Gordon Ramsay’s an undoubtedly talented chef but is he as good at rapping? Who knows, but we might get to see that in the future. After releasing “Panini,” Lil Nas X hopped on Twitter and said that he needed a remix with Gordon Ramsay. It didn’t take long for the MasterChef judge to respond. “Tell me more…” Ramsay replied on Twitter. It appears as though he’s not opposed to hopping on the remix but will it actually transpire? Probably not.

Either way, Twitter exploded with excitement. The Twitter accounts  MasterChef, Tasty, and Schlotzky’s co-signed the idea Ramsay getting on the remix Lil Nas X’s latest hit.

Lil Nas X’s new single, “Panini” is a promising follow-up to “Old Town Road” and also includes a interpolation a classic Nirvana song titled, “In Bloom.”

Marvin Bagley Releases Diss Track Aimed At Damian Lillard

Portland Trail Blazers superstar Damian Lillard, aka Dame D.O.L.L.A, is widely regarded as the best rapper in the NBA. The All-NBA point guard already has two albums under his belt, including 2016’s “The Letter O” and “Confirmed” which followed in 2017.

That said, Sacramento Kings’ second-year forward Marvin Bagley III has some skills his own and he isn’t shying away from a little f-season competition with Dame. During an appearance on ESPN’s First Take on Thursday, Bagley dubbed himself the best rapper in the league, which quickly resulted in a battle between the two ballers.

In regards to the best NBA MC, Bagley didn’t hesitate telling the hosts, “Man, me. Me, man. I love music, I love music, so I’m gonna go with myself.” Asked if he’d be willing to battle Lillard on a future episode First Take, Bagley added, “Yeah, for sure. Whenever, wherever. I’m with whatever. I make music, it’s something I love. So we can see.”

Hours after those comments, Bagley threw another jab at Dame, releasing a diss track titled, “No Debate.” He also made sure to use the watch emoji, in reference to Lillard’s “Dame Time,” when tweeting out the soundcloud link.

Nas Drops Contempt Charges Against Kelis Amid Custody Battle: Report

Nas and Kelis’ everlasting custody battle over their son has been filled with twists and turns. Earlier this year, Nas accused Kelis violating their custody agreement after bringing their son on an impromptu trip to Columbia. She was later charged with contempt but it looks like Nas had a change heart and dropped the charges against her just days before their court hearing.

According to The Blast, Nas filed court documents requesting the dismissal the contempt charges against Kelis. Court documents revealed the rapper’s lawyer filed the documents last week. The hearing was supposed to take place today but it’s now removed from the calendar. Nas previously told the judge that he wanted her found in contempt, claiming she violated their custody agreement over their sons seventeen times since January last year.

He explained the holiday agreement with Kelis meant that she would have their son on Christmas and he would get him on New Year’s Eve. “In or around December 2018, Petitioner (Kelis) moved to Cartagena, Colombia and took the minor child without my consent,” he said in his affidavit before claiming that Kelis told him she planned on staying in Columbia to tend to a farm in the country with her husband. He wrote, “On Christmas, Petitioner informed me by text message that although her ‘plan’ had been to bring the minor child back to me in Los Angeles for New Year’s, the plan had changed. She then stated that the new plan was to come back on January 4, 2019.”

Kelis entered a pleaded not guilty to 20 counts contempt.

Vivendi CEO: Universal Music's 2008 Fire Crisis Is "Just Noise"

As legal action stemming from the 2008 Universal Studios Fire awaits, Universal Music Group’s counter-offensive continues.

What really got torched in the blaze of ’08?

According to the New York Times and its sources, roughly 500,000 priceless recordings from the world’s most famous artists were destroyed.  According to Universal Music Group, it really wasn’t that bad.

Now, UMG’s counter-offensive is getting air support from parent company Vivendi.

Just yesterday, Vivendi put its sale of Universal Music Group on pause, ostensibly in reaction to the growing mess surrounding the 2008 inferno.  But today, Vivendi attacked that idea, and further attempted to cool the controversy over the fire.

A lot is at stake here: UMG is Vivendi’s crown jewel, and recently valued as high as $50 billion.  The French conglomerate has been trying of offload 50% of the label in a convoluted deal process.  Now, the fallout from the 2008 fire is threatening to shave billions off the potential price tag.

Referring to the New York Times Magazine’s in-depth piece as a mere ‘headline,’ Vivendi CEO Arnaud de Puyfontaine called the whole thing a crock.  “It happened 11 years ago and the headlines are just noise,” de Puyfontaine dismissively told Variety, while also praising the efforts of UMG chairman and CEO.  “[The response] is a credit to the leadership of Lucian Grainge.”

The comment drew immediate rebuke from Howard King, an LA-based attorney who has already issued a demand for more information from UMG.

King has not only been issuing threatening letters on behalf of his clientele.  He’s also been digging into legal paperwork that started flying after the Universal Studios fire.  In 2009, UMG litigated against Universal Studios and its parent, NBCUniversal, only to quietly resolve the matter in 2013.

During that contentious four years, however, it looks like UMG claimed the destruction of ‘hundreds of thousands’ of irreplaceable master recordings, with the settlement likely crossing into the tens of millions of dollars.  Of course, that sounds a little more serious than ‘just noise’.

“The likelihood that their life’s works may have been destroyed by the gross negligence of Universal Music is far  from ‘just noise’ to any potentially affected artist,” King retorted.  “It wasn’t ‘just noise’ in 2009 when Universal Music sued NBC Universal, claiming that hundreds of thousands of irreplaceable masters had been lost in the devastating fire. It wasn’t ‘just noise’ when Universal Music collected tens of millions of dollars, or more, in compensation for the lost masters.

“I believe that Mr. de Puyfontaine wishes this would all disappear and not interfere with his financial planning. This wish will not come true.”

Earlier, attorney Ed McPherson noted that UMG hadn’t distributed any of the revenues from its NBCUniversal settlement back to its artists.

Earlier this week, UMG chairman Lucian Grainge promised total transparency and accountability to affected artists.

Grainge even set up a point-of-contact within UMG to field questions about lost materials.  But at this stage, it’s still unclear if anyone is getting straight answers about the damage.

Or, for that matter, if UMG itself can account for what exactly was lost.

The issue her followers had with the matter was more so the timing since yesterday was Juneteenth, the day slavery was abolished in America in 1865. “Child if this is a joke you picked the worst timing! I know you’re from overseas but here in America it’s JUNETEENTH,” a user commented, forcing Stefflon to reply: “Tell America yall need a new President.”

The “16 Shots” music maker followed up once again in a since-deleted post, writing: “Get your sensitive ass out my comments plz about Black Lives ain’t no joke who da fuq said it was? And if you aint physically done nothing about it then definitely don’t say nothing because you don’t really care you think typing on insta will solve your problems lol.

“Educate your self. By the way slavery aint no joke either but you still tune in to watch the movie that makes the same white man who enslaved you money and you applaud it and they get rewarded for it now go underneath the real enemies comments not mine.”

Her comments didn’t seem to stick since people still let her have it on Twitter. Peep some reactions below and let us know what you think.

Scarface Says He’s “Done” With Rap As He Pivots To Politics

Houston, TX – Geto Boys suffered a monumental loss when Bushwick Bill died earlier this month. As one of three members of the legendary Houston rap group, the Geto Boys — as they were known — is now a thing of the past.

In a recent interview with FADER, fellow MC Scarface (real name Brad Jordan) emphatically stated his rapping days are over as he pivots to politics.

“For me it’s done,” he said. “I like the idea of politics.”

Scarface publicly announced his plans to run for Houston City Council last week, something he’s been contemplating since 2017.

“This is gonna be my start in politics,” he explained. “I wanted to get my legs up under before I run for governor, before I run for mayor.”

Scarface also opened up about why he initially wanted to get into politics — and it has a lot to do with his Houston upbringing.

“Growing up, I got a chance to witness a lot of struggle in my neighborhood,” he said. “A lot of people struggled, myself included. As I got older, I noticed that there was still a lot of struggling going on. If it wasn’t drugs, it was no jobs. If it wasn’t no jobs, it was people out loitering, hanging out, getting into trouble.

“I’m 48 years old and that’s been going on before me. I wanna take it upon myself to fix the situation. I think I have some new, fresh ideas. I think that the traditional way of doing politics is over now. Let’s come up with some real solutions.”

Scarface has grand plans for the future. He’s considering running for president one day, but until then he said he doesn’t need any wealthy financial backers for this race.

“I’m not gonna need them on this one,” he said. “I’ll call them when I run for governor or president. I’m gonna run. Gimmie four to eight years.”

For now, Scarface is preparing for the Houston City Council race and coping with Bushwick’s passing.

“We never had a bad relationship,” he said of Bushwick. “We just bumped heads like rams. But all in all, we were alright. Him passing, as sad as it is, that’s just something we have to look forward to in life. We’re not gonna live forever. I was blessed enough to know that little dude. A brilliant little soul.

“He was smart, and he was very difficult to deal with. He was extremely set in his ways, and you had to respect Bill. We gon’ miss him.”
