Last month, YG was sued for his involvement in the alleged assault and robbery a man in a Las Vegas casino. As he continues to live dangerously on the path to his next studio album Stay Dangerous, another obstacle has formed in his way. According to TMZ, YG has been arrested for the same incident and charged with felony robbery charges as a result.
The arrest reportedly happened yesterday as the source writes there is available video footage that shows YG yanking the gold chain f a man, dropping it and then picking it up before he took f. According to the publication, the value the jewelry is somewhere between $3K and $9K. Young Gangsta was present in a Las Vegas courtroom yesterday to address the situation after a warrant was put out for his arrest. The rapper has since been released after posting $20K bail.
The situation allegedly escalated after the man was denied a photo with YG, telling him that he’s not a “real celeb” anyways. Of course, the Compton artist was pretty heated after that, yanking the chain f his neck and making his way out the Cosmopolitan.
The alleged victim is also suing YG for $250K, claiming that members the rapper’s crew beat him up before his jewelry was taken. As details become clearer, we will update you.
We’ve seen what happens whenever a fan tries to crash the stage a concert. 9 times out 10, it results in someone getting manhandled and thrown f the stage. Sometimes, the artist performing might even try to protect themselves but usually, their bodyguards handle the dirty work. Unfortunately for Bhad Bhabie’s bodyguard, it resulted in him falling f the stage as well.
Bhad Bhabie was in Amsterdam last night for a performance. The rapper was paying homage to the late XXXTENTACION with a performance “Look At Me!” The song seemed to get a fan so hyped that he managed to finesse his way on stage for a brief moment. However, Bhad Bhabie’s security was quick on his feet and pushed the guy into jumping back into the crowd. Unfortunately, he also ended up falling f the stage and into the crowd while doing so. If you check out the footage below, he pretty much opens up a huge gap in the crowd. While Bhad Bhabie seemed to skip a few words when it happened, she jumped right back into the song a bar later.
Aside from her recent concert mishap, Bhad Bhabie’s announced that she has new music on the way. Towards the end May, she announced that she was releasing 15 new tracks this summer. Shortly after, she released her new track “Trust Me” featuring Ty Dolla $ign.
It looks like Dennis Schroder’s days in Atlanta are numbered, as the Hawks went out and traded for veteran point guard Jeremy Lin last night, just weeks after drafting point guard Trae Young with the fifth overall pick in the NBA Draft.
According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Brooklyn Nets agreed to trade Lin to the Hawks in exchange for a 2020 second-round pick ( Portland) and the rights to Isaia Cordinier, a 2016 second-round pick who has remained overseas. Additionally, the Nets will send the Hawks a 2025 second-round pick and the right to swap second-round picks in 2023, according to Woj.
Lin, 29, played just 25 minutes last season before suffering a season-ending ruptured patellar tendon on opening night. During the 2016-17 campaign, Lin averaged 14.5 points and 5.1 assists for the Nets.
For now, the Hawks have Schroder, Lin and Young on their depth chart but it is believed last night’s deal will lead to a Schroder trade before long. Back in May, the 24-year old point guard stressed the need to play for a contender, telling reporters that he “cannot be second to last in the Eastern Conference” again and that he and his agent planned to talk with Atlanta’s general manager and owner about the organization’s plans for the future.
Last season, the Hawks finished with a 24-58 record which resulted in the firing head coach Mike Budenholzer, who is now the head coach the Milwaukee Bucks. In 67 games last season, Schroder averaged a career-best 19.4 points per game, in addition to 6.2 assists and 3.1 rebounds.
During an interview with TMZ Sports earlier this month, Los Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley spoke about how NFL players want all the money in their contracts to be guaranteed, and how the players might have to go on strike in order to get their point across. When asked what could be done to get contracts like NBA and MLB players, Gurley added, “Lockout in a couple years.”
In light Gurley’s remarks, The Los Angeles Times’ Gary Klein recently asked the 23-year old running back about NFL contracts, to which he responded, “Us NFL players, we’re just mad about NBA contracts right now, that’s all. I just want like $80 million. Those guys are getting like $150 million]. It’s crazy. It’s insane.”
According to Spotrac, Gurley has two years remaining on his current deal before free agency, and he’ll earn just over $2.3 million next season before making jumping to $9.6 million in the 2019 campaign. Atlanta Falcons running back Devonta Freeman currently has the biggest contract for a running back in league history at five years, $41.25 million.
Gurley’s comments fall in line with several other NFL players including Eric Winston, who says they’re ready to call for a work stoppage if NFL deals don’t start looking more like the contracts NBA and MLB players. Veteran fensive lineman Russell Okung added, “Considering football’s level brute, immanent physicality, high turnover as well as the short life cycle its participants, it would seem to me that NFL players are in the most need fully guaranteed contracts.”
It looks like Cardi B & Offset baby girl is already dripping in finesse. Sources tell TMZ that Cardi decked out Kulture’s nursery with some serious high end brands which she purchased at West Hollywood’s baby boutique, Couture Kids on Robertson. The power couple reportedly dropped thousands on the items and gear, but that’s really not too crazy when you have the money like they do and its your first child we’re talking about here.
Cardi reportedly copped everything from a Fendi stroller ($1,600) & Versace changing bag ($600) to a Givenchy teddy bear ($195) & Customized recliner ($3,000), the Bronx sensation spared no penny for her baby girl. She also grabbed a Young Versace dress for $455 and another Stokke Xplory stroller, which runs for about $1,150. Before Cardi went into the hospital the other night, she shared some these items on social media, which you can see for yourself (below).
And if all that wasn’t enough, reports surfaced earlier that Nicki Minaj bought her a $5,000 baby gift basket as well, which included luxury seasonal clothes, an assortment dolls, stuffed animals and a sterling silver rattle. I wouldn’t be surprised if the married couple receive a plethora other luxury gifts from fellow famous friends too. So it’s safe to say Kulture Kiari Cephus is already drippin’ like her parents.
If you missed it, see the reactions fans had on Twitter upon learning that they named their daughter Kulture right here.
Previously unreleased music by Future & Young Thug has just hit the scene, and with good reason: Their song “Upscale” which would have featured Quavo sees the troika benefiting from the same Cassius Jay-produced beat which became Cardi B’s “Drip” from her big label debut Invasion Privacy. Now rendered illegal to use, it’s entirely possible the all-inclusive members leaked the record on their own accord. It suffices to say, that “Upscale” is by no means an embarrassing relic they would have preferred hiding from view.
The origin “Upscale” can probably be traced back to the duo’s collaborative album Super Slimey from last year. An album noted for moments pure elation, couched between the general nausea their lean-inspired field vision. Future and Young Thug even marked their partnership by getting adjacent BFF tattoos. Sadly “Upscale” can’t be considered a meaningful addition, especially after Cardi B colored our expectations by busting out real hunnids for her metallic Bentayga.
Future and Young Thug spend the course “Upscale” fawning over a woman “thick like Buffy.” For those who may have forgotten the rise Buffie the Body, as model employed and ogled by hip hop practitioners. Interestingly enough, Buffie has transitioned right into a career as a personal trainer. Check out “Upscale” right here ( Complex).
At this point, Beyoncé is doing nothing to stop the rumor mill from flying out control. She and Jay-Z are two the biggest stars in the world and their movements seem to warrant media coverage for something as simple as going to the grocery store. When fans were speculating on whether or not Bey was expecting baby number four, they believed that tour footage appeared to confirm the arrival the star’s fourth child. The couple’s favorite number happens to be 4 with both singers being born on the fourth day their respective birth months. Beyoncé previously titled an album after the number and Jay followed suit, creating 4:44. While Queen Bey’s appearance next to a giant number 4 on Instagram could just be in honor her favorite number, some fans seem to think it has to do with her rumored pregnancy.
Now one-year-old, Rumi and Sir Carter might be welcoming a new brother or sister sometime soon. Posting photos from an impromptu photo shoot this morning, the photo grabbing many people’s attention is her standing aside a giant number 4 on the wall. The singer didn’t write anything for her caption but commenters are up in arms about whether or not it’s a simple coincidence or if she’s somehow confirming that she’s expecting. Of course, everybody could be reaching in a major way. After all, it’s happened countless times in the past. But it’s worth it to consider that a star Beyoncé’s caliber has every move calculated. At this point, she’s no doubt heard about the rumors and whether or not they’re true, she’s egging them on with this set.
In your opinion, is this an innocent coincidence or is Bey trying to tell us something?
A couple days back Kash Doll and Asian Doll got into it on Twitter and no one really knows how it started. Kash claimed that Asian didn’t like her over a man, with Asian responding saying she’s in album mode and doesn’t have time for beef.
“Been on my dick since I was 19 bitch get a grip already, shut up you talk to much not enough recording!!,” Asian added.
There’s been no negative follow-up from either party, but Kash has now tweeted about the beef again, kind- sort- drawing a white flag. “I’m not responding to no more DOLL SHIT…. i said what i had to say! I’ll never respond to that weak shit anymore CHANGE YALL NAME…. or put jr behind it! I’m free from my contract now i want my identity back,” she said.
She added: “Matter fact I’m changing my name to Kashdoll Sr….”
We don’t really think the name change is on a serious note, but don’t be surprised if her next track no longer has Doll as her surname.
Dave East hasn’t slacked one bit since he dropped his major label debut, Paranoia: A True Story. Since then, the rapper’s collaborated with a slew artists including Lil Uzi Vert and Gunna and also released two new projects. At the tail end December, the Harlem spitter linked up with DJ Holiday for the Karma mixtape. Now, the rapper is getting ready to drop the sequel to the 2017 project.
Dave East announced that he’ll be dropping his new mixtape, Karma 2 next week. The rapper didn’t share an exact release date but it’s exciting to know we’re going to have a new project from him in the coming weeks. On Karma, the rapper enlisted Chris Brown, Kap G, Offset, Moneybagg Yo, Don Q and more. It’s unsure who he’ll have featured on this but hopefully, we see East go bar for bar with some worthy emcees in the game.
Last week, Dave East dropped two new songs. While one them was a response track to Tray Pizzy’s diss track towards East, the Harlem native also linked up with Rick Ross for their track, “Fresh Prince Of Belaire.” It’s unsure whether that collaboration will land on Dave East’s forthcoming Karma but we could only hope he has other major names joining him on the project’s tracklist.

Police in Milton, Georgia have released reports today regarding multiple domestic disputes at the home LeSean McCoy, including one instance where the Buffalo Bills running back accused his girlfriend, Delicia Cordon, refusing to return borrowed high-end jewelry.
Earlier this week, Cordon was brutally beaten and robbed said jewelry. According to ESPN, she told police she believes McCoy might have “set her up.” You can listen to the audio her 911 call in the post embedded below.
According to police reports, police were called to McCoy’s residence on July 3, 2017 and found him outside the house with a “large mound” Cordon’s clothing and personal items. McCoy told cops that he and Cordon had broken up, and that she was refusing to return jewelry loaned to them by jewelers for events.
According to the 2017 police report, McCoy expressed serious concern that Cordon might make false accusations about him. “He stated that he was trying to be very careful about being around her given the climate domestic abuse in his pression.” Ultimately, ficers told McCoy he could not kick Cordon out without formal eviction proceedings and that he should have witnesses around for further interactions given his concerns.
Cordon also called cops over a heated argument with McCoy on April 11, and again on June 1, when McCoy’s mother came to the home with a crew people to try to remove property from the house without Cordon’s consent.
AstroWorld is getting closer to completion.
Just this week, Travis Scott flew an all-star team of producers to Hawaii to finish work on the long-awaited follow-up to 2016’s Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight.
Videos and photos have popped up on social media ( Complex) showing Scott in the studio with hitmakers including Mike Dean, NAV, Gunna, Don Toliver, Sheck Wes, Allen Ritter, Amir “Cash” Esmailian, Frank Dukes, Sonny Digital, WondaGurl, and Wheezy.
Before the studio sessions, Travis and Kylie Jenner were reportedly in Honolulu with their daughter Stormi enjoying some down time in a “massive Airbnb rental” with its own recording studio. They soaked up the sun on a private beach before Kylie and Stormi returned to L.A. and Travis went back to work on AstroWorld.
Earlier in the week, producer FKI 1st teased a sequel to “Drugs You Should Try It.” The original appeared on Scott’s 2014 mixtape Days Before Rodeo. It’s unclear if Part 2 will land on AstroWorld.
In May, Travis dropped the album’s first new music with “Watch” featuring Kanye West and Lil Uzi Vert. Now fans are eagerly awaiting a release date for AstroWorld.
“It might be the best music that I made,” Travis told British GQ Style last year. “They tore down AstroWorld [an amusement park] to build more apartment space [in 2005]. That’s what it’s going to sound like, like taking an amusement park away from kids. We want it back. We want the building back. That’s why I’m doing it. It took the fun out of the city.”
Pure Sweat Basketball recently unleashed a brand new training video, featuring basketball trainer Drew Hanlen as well as Philadelphia 76ers All-Star Joel Embiid, Boston Celtics rising star Jayson Tatum and Orlando Magic rookie Mo Bamba, among others.
In the 10-minute video, Embiid, Tatum and Bamba can be seen battling it out in a series 1-on-1s which included some trash talk stemming from the Celtics and Sixers’ budding rivalry. At one point, Embiid can be heard demanding that he gets the ball first, but Tatum makes his case by telling the All-Star center, “I beat you in the playfs.” As expected, Embiid was vocal throughout the 1-on-1s, comparing himself to the GOAT and asking those in attendance if they think Tatum can guard him.
While Tatum is one the few second-year players who are not participating in the NBA Summer League, rookies such as Mo Bamba are preparing for the knockout tournament in Las Vegas that gets underway today. Bamba, the sixth overall pick by the Orlando Magic, is averaging 8.7 points, 5.7 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game through the first three Summer League games.

Papa John’s has once again shot itself, blowing f its metaphorical foot. The company’s product is already bad enough, but its founder’s recent fumbles have added to the chain’s tarnished reputation. John Schnatter attributed declining sales to the NFL protests against police brutality. His statement acquired fans from the alt-right movement and ultimately forced him to step down from his position as CEO. He remains onboard as a chairman and he is still the face the brand.
Schnatter has yet to heal from his bigoted mind. He basically failed a “role-playing exercise” meant to prevent future PR mishaps. It was held during a conference call in May. The entrepreneur was asked how he would “distance himself from racist groups,” to which he responded,”Colonel Sanders called blacks n*****s” and didn’t face backlash.” This wasn’t just a slip up either. He also managed to include his recalling lynching in his hometown Indiana, when Black Americans were dragged from trucks to their death. These memories are said to have been brought up in an effort to demonstrate how un-racist Schnatter is, but it obviously fended multiple people who were on the call.
The former CEO has fered the following apology:”News reports attributing the use inappropriate and hurtful language to me during a media training session regarding race are true. Regardless the context, I apologize. Simply stated, racism has no place in our society”
Papa John’s sales are most likely set to keep declining. John Schnatter’s stance on the NFL protests already caused a 25% dip in revenue. The former NFL sponsor’s previous apologies haven’t boosted their sales significantly. Their PR team truly needs to step up if they want to remain in this game.
One half the World Cup Finals is set, as France defeated Belgium today in the semifinals by the final 1-0. In doing so, France handed Belgium their first loss the tournament, and denied the Belgians their first ever trip to the World Cup final.
The lone goal came f a corner kick shortly after halftime, when Antoine Griezmann’s cross found the head Samuel Umtiti at the near post in the 51st minute.
After winning Group C with a total seven points, France defeated Argentina 4-3 in the Round 16 and eliminated Uruguay last Friday by the final 2-0. Today’s victory over Belgium puts the French national team back in the World Cup final for the first time since 2006, when they suffered a loss to Germany. France last won the World Cup in 1998, which is also the only time they’ve ever hoisted the golden trophy.
Pogba, Mbappe, Giroud, Griezmann and co. will now await the winner tomorrow’s semifinal between England and Croatia. The World Cup Finals will take place on Sunday, July 15, at 11:00am ET. Belgium will take on the loser England vs Croatia in the Third Place play-f on Saturday at 10:00 am ET.
