Virgil Abloh’s partnership with Nike has resulted in some the most highly coveted sneakers collabs on the market today, ranging from the Off-White x Air Jordan 1s to his most recent release, the Off-White x Nike Air Max 90.
Still, there is much more to come from Virgil and Nike, including a collection Off-White x Nike Dunk Lows, and an all-new silhouette that Abloh himself debuted at Coachella.
As seen in the early photos that have surfaced, the latest Off-White x Nike collab sports some track and field vibes with a spiky pink outsole beneath the black upper. As always, the kicks feature a deconstructed build with the familiar Off-White detailing throughout, including a zip-tie that comes in green.
Take a look at some additional images below, and stay tuned for release details.
The NBA playfs are underway which means every basketball fan on the planet is sitting in front their TV cheering on their favorite team, as long as they actually made the playfs. If not, well you’re just watching to see who will win the NBA title and hopefully it isn’t the team you despise. Meanwhile, all the sneakerheads are watching the games for a much different reason. They’re just checking the matches out to see what sneakers the players are wearing. We all want to know what special PEs every player has and it looks like Kevin Durant will be one the guys who is laced to perfection every single night.
In the first Golden State Warriors game against the Los Angeles Clippers, KD wore a pink and white “Movies” PE the KD 12. According to Josh Benedek, who is Nike’s media relations director, Durant’s sneaker choices will actually be curated by none other than Don C throughout the postseason.
This weekend, Warner Bros. and DC Films’ Shazam! continued its reign at No. 1 at the box fice with $25.2 million across 4, 306 theaters in its second week. It marks a drop 53 percent and brings Shazam!’s domestic mark to $94.9 million for a global pull $258.8 million, with China accounting for $40.4 million, followed by a figure $11.7 million in the United Kingdom and $10.1 million in Mexico.
Among films that debuted, however, the Will Packer and Marsai Martin-produced comedy Little made a moderate entrance at No. 2 with a pull $15.4 million across 2,667 locations nationwide.

The film is led by the trio Martin, Issa Rae and Regina Hall with Hall portraying a bossy tech guru who is transformed into her 13-year-old self (Martin) while being corralled by her assistant (Rae). The film, itself, earned mixed reviews with the general consensus agreeing on a stellar performance from Martin while the rest the flick fell flat. Nevertheless, the film does mark a milestone as a major comedy produced, written and directed by African-American women.
Elsewhere at the box fice, the Hellboy reboot is surpassed, earning only $12.5 million at the box fice across 3,303 theaters and up against a $50 million budget. The film falls below the expected $16 to $21 million it was expected the pull. Overseas, it was a bust, earning only $10.1 million in 41 different markets.
Despite a cluster years that seemed to hack away at the legend Tiger Woods, the 43-year-old came back this year and won the Masters, adding a fifth green jacket to his wardrobe and earning him his 15th overall major championship win. Moreover, it becomes his first Masters win since 2005 and his first major win since the U.S. Open in 2008. It is also Tiger’s 22nd appearance at the championship tournament. Now, the only other player with more Masters wins than Tiger is Jack Nicklaus with six.
“I’m a little hoarse from yelling,” Tiger said his win, per NPR. “I was just trying to plod my way around all day then all a sudden I had the lead. Coming up 18 I was just trying to make a five. When I tapped in I don’t know what I did, I know I screamed.”

Pressionally, it’s an impressive comeback for sure after Woods’ was forced to undergo surgeries for back and leg injuries that nearly ended his career. In 2017, he went through spinal fusion surgery, making it his fourth surgery on his back in a final effort for pain relief.
“My dad was here in 1997 and now I’m the dad with two kids here,” he added. “It will be up there with one the hardest I’ve had to win because what has transpired in the last couple years.”
According to Realtor.com, DMX‘s residence in Mount Kisco, New York is now being listed on the open market. The 3,600 square foot has been put up for short sale, by no coincidence, one the more common ways to settle debt through a real estate asset. As you likely know, DMX faces a hefty $1.7 million bill stemming from the tax evasion sentence he dutifully served last year.

Upon a further investigation into the matter, it was learned that DMX’s name was indeed associated with the ownership consortium “ET Properties 1 LLC” to whom the property belongs. Everything about this shortsale listing illustrates how an asset can lose its value when a seller broaches the issue from a weakened position. DMX and cie are describing the home as a “diamond in the rough.”
DMX purchased the residence in 2000 when he was inarguably at the top his game, paying $649,000 for the Westchester property. The area isn’t too far removed from the stomping grounds his youth in Yonkers.
The $1.7 million sum was tallied from the income he failed to report over a subjected timelined. Of course, the judge presiding over his case also tacked a few surcharges to the final sum, as well as the jail bid he went on to serve. When DMX’s finances took a dip in 2006, the Yonkers native tried to sell this very home for $1.9 million but couldn’t find a bidder during the recessive period. To whom it may concern, the Mount Kisco residence is now being listed at $699,000. All the best to DMX in his efforts to rise above the red line.
It’s been a minute since we got any new music from OVO’s DVSN but that just means they’re saving their best sounds for their upcoming sophomore album that’s on the way. The duo that’s comprised Daniel Daley and Nineteen85 played a set at this weekend’s Coachella and followed up by confirming that their third studio album is coming soon.
The last project we received from the Toronto bred music makers was 2017’s Morning Afterand before that was 2016’s Sept. 5th. There’s no word on when the upcoming tape will arrive or what it will explore, but we do know that both Daniel and his leading producer don’t mind being known for making sex music.
“We just didn’t think it would define us as much as it has,” 85 previously stated. “Now people are almost surprised when we show other sides what we can do. It’s like, Whoa we thought you guys only made bedroom music. Even some the songs on the first project we didn’t realize would be taken as sexy.”
Keep it locked on the site for more updates surrounding the tap and watch their Coachella set below.
Just two days ago Rich The Kid welcomed his son to the world with his girlfriend Tori Brixx. “I’m so happy I must be living a dream thank you for having this beautiful baby thank for making me better thank you for being by my side always your everything I can ever imagine the most beautiful women I’ve ever met inside & out,” he wrote on Instagram.
More recently, Rich shared an image to his feed that sees his little baby boy laying on Tori’s chest in the delivery room. Rich is all smiles as he pears down on his son, clearly elated and proud since he helped to deliver him into the world. “I literally just delivered my baby boy 💙 biggest blessing 🥺🙌🏾 I cant believe it he’s here,” he captioned to photo.
In other RTK updates, a few weeks ago the “Splashin” rapper opened up to Interview Magazine, detailing how rappers aren’t supposed to “give a fuck.”
“I don’t think you’re supposed to give a fuck when you’re a rapper,” he told the publication. “Because if you give a fuck, you lose the whole point. ‘I’m really not supposed to be at this interview. I’m not supposed to give a fuck.’ That’s how rappers think. I know a lot rappers that would never come here. They would never do an interview. Like, why? Suck my dick.”
The outpouring of love and support for Nipsey Hussle continues.
While his city and fans worldwide continue to mourn his loss and celebrate his legacy, his Marathon Clothing store is selling out of merch.
Meek Mill and The Game are just some of the artists who are supporting their late friend by buying up T-shirts, hoodies, and hats. According to TMZ, the rappers went on a massive shopping spree at Nipsey’s famed store on Slauson Ave.
In the days leading up to Nipsey’s “Celebration of Life” at Staples Center, items have been flying off the shelves as T.I., 2 Chainz, J.R. Smith, and DeMar DeRozan dropped tons of cash in Nipsey’s honor. They refused to accept any free items and insisted on paying for the goods.
There are so many orders that the staff is having trouble keeping up with demand. Some items are already sold out. “If y’all ordered anything, it’s on the way. They’re working diligently,” said 2 Chainz.
T.I. spent a reported $10,000 and encouraged others to go online and buy the Crenshaw and Marathon-branded hoodies, sweatshirts, and tees from The Marathon Clothing web store. “Just doing my part. Your turn,” said Tip.
Fans continue to gather at The Marathon store to pay tribute to Nipsey, leaving candles, flowers, and notes for the hip-hop icon, who was shot and killed outside the shop last month.
The murder Nipsey Hussle has garnered many responses from hip hop figures, most which have been uplifting messages, people paying their respects, or friends the rapper sharing memories. Jermaine Dupri, however, caught a little bit heat on social media after he made a statement on Twitter saying, “I believe Nip was Jesus.”
The pushback was swift. “Stop it. Sounds like his heart was pure by the people who loved him. Destined to have been a great man! Prophetic and loved,” one person wrote. Someone else commented, “Y’all do too much. Not to take anything away from Nipsey’s life. I believe we are all God beings made in his image and Nipsey definitely lived in the light. But Jesus? You gotta chill.” Another Twitter use chimed in, “He was definitely special, inspiring, smart, intelligent but I don’t think Jesus smoked black n milds]. I could be wrong though.”
Dupri read through the disparaging comments and responded by writing, “It’s very interesting to me that when a person is sick everyone is quick to ask someone for their prayers, with hope that it heal the pain, but when I say I feel like Nip was Jesus, I’m crazy.” He continued, “I just heard @JoeBudden say Nip was Jesus as well, are we both crazy? Btw anyone that’s saying I’m reaching or I’m crazy, clearly doesn’t believe in a higher power and I’m cool with that, but I do!! and I have felt it many times.”
So what say you, is Jermaine Dupri “crazy” for suggesting that Nipsey Hussle was Jesus?
T.I.’s clapback game is on point, as we’ve seen time and time again in the past. This time, the ATL rapper took to Instagram Live to preview a new song he’s been working on. On the track, the rapper seemingly addresses his feud with Kodak Black.
“I’m conditioned to see the vision, you/ I don’t care if you eight or under twenty-two/ All that back and forth, what you trying to get into?/ I said what I said and I meant it to,” he raps on the track.
Following his rift with Kodak, the rapper went on to take down a Kodak Black exhibit from the Trap Music Museum in Atlanta. Although Kodak insisted that he didn’t give the museum permission to even include him in the exhibit, T.I. explained that he’s only going after Kodak Black in such a way because he sees himself in Kodak Black.
Kobe Bryant is one the best basketball players all time and there really is no disputing that. While he may not be THE best, he’s still in conversation as being one the greatest to ever do it. With this in mind, it’s a little surprising that the Los Angeles Lakers legend would be bested in a pickup game by the likes Beyoncé’s dad, Mathew Knowles.
Yesterday, Knowles posted a video on Twitter himself playing Kobe while on the set Destiny’s Child’s video shoot for the song “Bug A Boo.” In the clip, you see Kobe missing some shots, all while Knowles throws up straight daggers on Kobe’s head.
“I told you I can play some ball! 20 years later, I could still take Kobe to the hoop!” Knowles said. “Kobe, I just want to let you know bruh, I think you are one the greatest — if not the greatest basketball player ever. It was a privilege to kick your ass and I’ll do it again.”
If I were Kobe, I’d be on my way to Knowles’ house ready to hoop. You can’t let that man disrespect you like that. Also, we really want to see this happen.
Los Angeles, CA – The program for Nipsey Hussle’s Celebration of Life memorial included heartfelt tributes written by Kendrick Lamar and JAY-Z.
Lamar collaborated with Nipsey on “Dedication” a cut from the late rapper’s 2018 album, Victory Lap. His letter discusses the first time he met Nip and how impactful he was to the city they were both raised in.
In 2009, I remember trekking cities alongside Nipsey and family. Both performing as opening acts on The Game LAX Tour. Our sprinter van trailed their mobile home from state to state.
Though I was a there as support for my brother Jay Rock, Nipsey greeted me as one of his own. And that was very commendable. Casually I would go out to the crowd and listen to the substance he spewed on stage. Thinking to myself, this is the type of talent I want to be apart of. His charisma and way with words was powerful. But his integrity as a person, made me even more enthused.
I watched a young, ambitious black male orchestrate fellowship amongst the men around him on that tour. Determined to execute one thing — and that was Greatness. Greatness in knowledge, greatness in wealth, and greatness in self. My curiosity about who he really was started to grow from that moment in time. Was he a product if Crenshaw and Slauson? Was he a radical? Or was he a thinker? That mystique kept me engaged throughout his life career. The years progressed, and my admiration grew from up close and from afar. Watching his interviews, his philosophies, and his work amongst the black community.
Time surely revealed itself. I realized Nipsey was all of those perspectives. But most importantly, he was a vessel from God. As my heart aches for him and his family. I understand that the Most High doesn’t make mistakes. I pray that Ermias Foundation continues to blossom. I pray for those who trespass against it.
A true King will be tested in adversity. To stand in fearlessness in what he believes will impact on earth, as well as in heaven. So thank you Nipsey The Radical. Nipsey The Husband. Nipsey The Friend. Nipsey The Great. And from now on, Nipsey The Messenger…… Shalom.
JAY-Z’s connection with Nipsey dates back to 2013 when the West Coast rapper sold 1000 copies of his mixtape Crenshaw at $100 each. Impressed by the bold business strategy, Hov purchased 100 copies of the LP, thus, igniting a strong friendship between the two.
Renown late Professor, Dr, Howard Thurman introduced us – many years ago – to the existence of a new black man…
“…. there is something in every one of us that waits and listens for the sound of the genuine in ourselves and that IT is the only true guide that we would ever have. And that if we cannot hear it, we will all of our lives spend our days on the ends of strings that somebody else pulls!”
“Top of the top,” this is how Nip always greeted me in the morning as if he was reminding me that he was steadfastly holding on to the top of the top of his own life string and destiny!
So, Top of the top – Nip
The world just got to see a flash of your brilliance.
You were a curious soul who was evolving at a speed that was truly inspiring.
The seeds you have planted are already bearing fruit.
The outpouring of admiration is testimony to the love and respect you’ve farmed.
Sleep well King, The Marathon continues as a line of energy for all of us to consider.
LOVE AND LIGHT, JAY”
Screenshots obtained by TMZ showed the program included letters also written by J. Cole, DJ Khaled, The Game, YG, Barack Obama and many more.
Nipsey Hussle was killed on March 31 after suffering six gunshot wounds outside of his Marathon Clothing store on Crenshaw and Slauson in Los Angeles, California.
His alleged killer Eric Holder was arrested on April 2 and has since pleaded not guilty to the murder. He is currently being held on a $5 million bond.
The Celebration of Life memorial took place Thursday (April 11) at the Staples Center where more than 20,000 people touched by Nipsey gathered to celebrate the untimely loss of a community leader.
Fans who were unable to attend the event can still watch it in its entirety on TIDAL.
Since then, analysts and reporters across the country have tried to make sense it all, wondering where the Lakers go from here. Of course, that also includes the always opinionated LaVar Ball, who recently told FS1, “The system is crumbling down. I don’t know what’s going on over there.”
In case you were wondering, here’s Michael Rapaport’s take on the matter:
“Here’s the point about the Lakers,” Rapaport said (H/T TMZ Sports) … “Jeanie Buss, everybody loves you. I love you. I’ve met you, you’ve been nothing but nice to me. Stop running the Lakers like it’s a mom and pop donut shop.”
“It’s not a little shoe store down in Downtown in L.A. It’s big business. You gotta hire a killer. You gotta hire some kick ass people.”
“Jeanie Buss, it’s not a family business. It’s a basketball team. Get some killers in there!”
According to a report by ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne, Lakers’ general manager Rob Pelinka will stay in his role, and could even see his power grow in the aftermath Magic’s announcement.
The Lakers finished the year 37-45, which ranks 11th worst in the NBA this season. They have a 2% chance landing Zion Williamson in the NBA Draft and a 9.4% chance climbing into the top 4.
The shoe is a Jordan 10 that has a custom paint job with Nipsey’s face on it. The names his family members are also on the shoe, including his children Kross and Emani. Lauren London’s name is even on the pair shoes.
These customs were made by @solebysir and will be worn by Harrell throughout the entire playfs. It’s going to be a hard series for the eighth seed Clippers as they’ll be taking on the defending champion Warriors.
Game 1 will go down at the Oracle Arena in Oakland on Saturday at 8 P.M. EST.
Lil Nas X spoke to NPR and attempted to clarify reports that he was indeed a Barb once upon a time.
“It’s like a big misunderstanding and it’s not one that I even want to give the time, because I’m never putting someone as the face my career,” he said. “So I don’t even speak on it. I just don’t even acknowledge it, really. I know even more things are being made up and they’re gonna be out there. It is disappointing when a big blog will post something without me talking about it but, I mean, it happens.”
Last week, NY Mag published an article which included some strong evidence suggesting otherwise. The publication compared the URLs for Lil Nas X’s former account which is seemingly connected to the alleged Nicki Minaj stan account.
