Black Moon Returns With A Music Video After 16 Years, Announces Upcoming Album

Nearly 16 years after releasing their last LP, the Brooklyn hip-hop group has returned to deliver the video for their track “Creep Wit Me.” The song serves as the lead single f their forthcoming reunion album Rise da Moon. The project was produced by Da Beatminerz and will include contributions from Method Man, Smif N Wessun, and Rockness Monsta.

“If you only knew how good it feels to be doing this for the love. Much respect to hip-hop for having Black Moon in the cypher. It’s been a long time” Buckshot told Complex. “It was so dope working with my crew on this album. Unlike a lot albums today, we recorded the album together in the same studio” Evil Dee continued. “Mr. Walt & I came with our Beatminerz sound (heavy bass and drums) representing that boom bap. Buck & 5 came with the ill rhymes. Mixing the album was so dope. We wanted to bring back it back to the 90’s with our analog/digital mixing process. Rise Of Da Moon represents Black Moon’s legacy to the fullest.””It was so dope working with my crew on this album. DJ Vlad Sets The Record Straight About Interview With Tekashi 6ix9ine’s Baby Mama

Did Tekashi 6ix9ine‘s baby mama set him up to be exposed and ridiculed in the media? According to DJ Vlad, the answer is yes. Earlier this year, Sara Molina, 6ix9ine’s ex, did an interview with VladTV where she stated the rapper didn’t put aside any money for their daughter before being hauled f to jail. She also read Tekashi’s lengthy plea agreement and exposed him as a ‘snitch.’ Since then, Molina has repeatedly denied knowing that Vlad planned on having her read the indictment and said she was set up. However, during a recent chat with Lord Jamar, DJ Vlad revealed that Molina sent him the paperwork on purpose because she wanted to speak about it during the interview.

“She spoke about how…somehow we set her up with that paperwork and she had no idea what it was about. She went on Adam 22 No Jumper podcast recently and said that she regrets doing the interview and she had no idea what was on the paperwork and everything else like that. Now, I don’t usually speak about this sh*t, but you know something, let me just put this out there: they sent us that paperwork before the interview.”

Lord Jamar asks, “Who’s ‘they’? Her?” Vlad responds, “Her manager, publicist, whatever. For the interview, they sent us a copy Tekashi’s guilty plea. That’s the only reason we even knew about it. Although it was public, it was released publicly, no one knew about this. It wasn’t reported by anybody, so we never caught onto it until they sent it to us.”

“I’m almost 100 percent sure that she’d already read through it before. They sent it to us as a talking point.” DJ Vlad went on to say that he didn’t understand how she could have regretted doing the interview because she requested another with him not long after. However, he said he declined.

Raptors Fan Walks Streets Of Toronto With Plant For Kawhi Leonard

Kawhi Leonard is a popular man in Toronto right now thanks to the fact that he just led the Raptors to their first ever NBA championship. If you’re Canadian, this accomplishment still feels pretty surreal, especially for those in Toronto who haven’t seen a championship for quite some time. As you would imagine, as soon as the final buzzer went f, fans roamed the streets Toronto in absolute jubilation over what just happened. Some fans went about their business as usual, while some employed some much more interesting tactics.

For instance, one fan was caught on the street by Global News thanks to the fact that he was carrying a huge plant with him throughout the city. The man was instantly dubbed as “Plant Guy” and explained that he was looking for Kawhi. The fan, who seemed pretty intoxicated, claimed that the plant was meant to be a housewarming gift as he’s certain Leonard will remain in Toronto.

What makes this clip even funnier is the fact that the plant looks like it was freshly ripped from its roots. There is certainly an unlucky homeowner out there who has no clue where their plant went last night. Although if your plant was placed in Leonard’s home, you probably wouldn’t feel all that bad about it. There are definitely worse fates out there.

Hopefully, this guy is able to find Kawhi before he goes on vacation.

Draymond Green: "Not Smart" To Think Warriors Are Finished

The Golden State Warriors face plenty  uncertainty heading into the f-season, as both Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant will likely become free agents.

Even if both superstars choose to re-sign with the Warriors, the team faces an uphill battle because Thompson suffered a torn ACL in Game 6 and KD is expected to miss the entire 2019-20 season as he recovers from achilles surgery.

Still, Draymond Green’s confidence has not wavered. Following Thursday night’s loss to the Toronto Raptors, Green told reporters, “we’ll be back.”

“I think everybody thinks it’s kind the end us,” Green said. “But that’s just not smart. We’re not done yet. We lost this year. Clearly just wasn’t our year, but that’s how the cookie crumbles sometimes. But, yeah, I hear a lot that noise, it’s the end a run and all that jazz. I don’t see it happening though. We’ll be back.”

In regards to Thompson’s aforementioned injury, Green added:

“Probably the guy that got the most heart on this team,” said Green, per ESPN. “It’s not really the most popular opinion, but as a guy who’s been with Klay for seven years, I don’t know many people with as much heart as Klay. So the way he was playing, as aggressive as he was, he was carrying us, and when he went down, obviously we lose a lot.”

Kyle Lowry Dismisses His Harshest Critics After Raptors NBA Finals Win

It was an insane night to be a Toronto Raptors fan yesterday as they won their first ever NBA Championship against the two-time defending champion Golden State Warriors. While many thought it would be Kawhi Leonard who would control the pace the game, it ended up being Kyle Lowry who dominated early and scored 15 points in the first quarter alone. He ended up finishing the match with 26 points and if it weren’t for Leonard’s dominance throughout the series, he probably would have been Finals MVP.

Lowry is one those players who gets a lot criticism for the way he plays in the playfs and this season, he proved all the doubters wrong. After the game, Lowry had a message for those who doubted him.

“I appreciate the moment that I’m in,” Lowry told ESPN. “I’m happy I’m able to celebrate this moment with my teammates and with my family. The critics will have something else to say, which is fine. But I’m a champion.”

At the beginning the season, Lowry was upset with the franchise for trading his best friend DeMar DeRozan for a superstar in Leonard. With this championship winning season behind him, Lowry is surely forgiving how things played out.

Dreezy Hustles Hard, Wants To Inspire & "Take It All To The Next Level"

Chicago’s Dreezy released her sophomore effort Big Dreez at the top the year, a follow-up to her 2016 debut No Hard Feelings. The 25-year-old has been working hard over the years to find her voice as both an overall artist and a female rapper, and as her career progresses, the South Side native is solidifying her place in the rap game. Just yesterday Dreamville released two singles, “Down Bad” and “Got Me,” and you can hear Dreezy’s smooth rhymes on the latter. In a week, she stars alongside Anthony Anderson and Dave East in the Netflix film Beats, and she’s already working on another album and an ambassador deal with Puma.

“I’m just trying to take it all to the next level,” the rising artist told Teen Vogue. “I started working with brands, I started coming up with merch ideas, I was traveling, getting back to my personal life too but I was learning more about the business and writing and seeing what I wanted to be as an artist,” she said. “Just learning myself. Now I know exactly what I want to do and who I am.”

Dreezy also shared that she wants to see more unity in hip hop among female artists.““Chanel Slides”] kind started the wave females working together,” Dreezy said her Kash Doll-assisted single. “My whole vibe it when I was thinking the video shoot was I love how Lil Kim had her ‘No Matter What They Say’ video and she had Mary J. Blige, Missy Elliott, and all these different girls and it was just a fun video.”

Chance The Rapper Tells Self-Proclaimed Day 1 Fan To "Eat A Dick"

Chicago, IL – A lighthearted question and answer session between Chance The Rapper and his fans on Twitter soured fairly quickly after one overzealous individual brought the Southside of Chicago out of the rapper.

It all started on Wednesday, (June 12) when Chance initiated a seemingly playful dialogue in a series of tweets that asked questions like, “At what time does it stop being brunch?”

Chance soon started curving fans after one caught his attention with their disapproving reply to a video he made using a snippet of TisaKorean’s “Soapy Anthem.”

“I need something to dance to my guy. “We at the carnival I really like the fair” doesn’t get my jitterbug going. Still excited for the album though,” the Twitter user wrote in response to the video.

Chance’s reply was swift and presumably injected with sarcasm as he directly addressed the lone comment.

“No one cares brice,” he began the tweet.

“Just learn how to dance and stop bitching.”

It appears his reply angered a couple of tweet watchers who decided to step in and say their piece, and thus, the flood gates burst open when a user going by the name Chris Richardson replied to Chance.

“People have different tastes and that’s fine but the way you’re talking to fans who’ve been with you since 10 day is disappointing and that ego reflects in the quality of your newest music,” Richardson wrote in a response to the rapper.

The response Richardson received was even more swift and blunt than the previous.

“Eat a dick,” Chance replied.

As if the harsh remark wasn’t enough, Richardson hurled another insult at Chance, and from there, a small back and forth exchange began.

By this point, other users began to chime in, some expressing their support and or disbelief of Chance’s behavior and others coming to the support of Richardson.

“Nah I refuse to believe that’s Chance talking. 100% he was hacked. Impossible,” a user replied to the thread with Richardson.

Richardson replied, “he sure didn’t use to act like that.”

“Nah it’s me,” Chance wrote, assuring fans the free smoke was a product of his frustration.

The exchanges continued and Chance continued to put people in their place.

Chance seemingly took all of the Twitter beef in great stride, though, moving on and tweeting “Boom bow,” immediately following the interactions with fans.

TMZ reports that Kim’s speech at the White House had her announcing a rideshare partnership that will give former inmates free rides to job interviews. Having spent lots time chatting with inmates and visiting prisons, those who have been released say the biggest hurdle is finding transportation to job interviews.

Donald Trump also announced initiatives for the Federal government to assist freed inmates in landing jobs when they go back to their communities.

“While I have been able to fer support to some the individuals I have met, the obstacles to success are an everyday struggle for thousands and more needs to be done,” Kim wrote on Twitter.

Uber & Lyft Drivers Are Tricking The System To Make Riders Pay More

It looks as though the topic Uber and Lyft drivers manipulating the system to get more money s is old news, but a new report and confirmation from a driver himself prove that it is very much true. As the process goes, drivers at Reagan National Airport simultaneously turn f their app making the system think there aren’t enough drivers, boosting the price per ride to entice drivers to hit the road.

Once a driver sees the price rise to a number they are happy with, they turn their apps back on and cash in on the surcharge rate. “All the airplanes we know when they land. So five minutes before, we turn all our apps f all us at the same time. All us we turn our apps f. They surge, $10, $12, sometimes $19. Then we turn our app on. Everyone will get the surge,” one driver told WJLA.

A number drivers admitted that the move is done because Uber doesn’t pay them fair wages. “Uber doesn’t pay us enough, what the company is doing is defrauding all these people by taking 35-40 percent,” a driver detailed, while another added: “They are taking all this money because there’s no system accountability.”

Uber released on a statement on the matter that warns drivers that they can be removed from the app if caught. “We have taken steps to address fraudulent behavior … engaging in this behavior may result in removal.”

Safaree & Erica Mena Claim They’re "TV Gold" In Ass-Grabbing Photo

With Joe Budden and Cyn Santana breaking up a few weeks ago, all the attention has been shifted to Erica Mena and Safaree Samuels. The two couples were seemingly involved in a popularity contest on Love & Hip Hop, trying to one-up the other to become everybody’s favourite LHH pairing. While next season will surely introduce some more romance to the table, Erica and Safaree are left at the top the totem pole. They’re still planning on getting married soon but before that, they wanted to take a moment to brag about just how valuable they are to the show.

Safaree took to social media to share a photo himself and his queen posing for the cameras. Erica leans against the wall and sticks out her behind while Safaree looks straight at the photographer, grabs a feel his fiancée’s booty and lets his shirt flow with the wind. In his caption, he makes a bold claim that can only be backed up by the ratings. “We’re TV Gold,” said Nicki Minaj‘s ex-boyfriend. “A blind man could see that.” He went on to praise Erica Mena, telling his followers that she’s “no regular girl.”

Do you think that Erica Mena and Safaree are the most buzzworthy couple from Love & Hip-Hop now? Are they really “TV Gold?”

Ariana Grande Chokes Up During Mac Miller Lyric In Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh, PA – Ariana Grande got emotional onstage at her Sweetener World Tour stop in Mac Miller‘s hometown. The Pittsburgh audience at the PPG Paints Arena helped Grande out by singing the lyrics that she was unable to in “thank u, next” and “raindrops (an angel cried).”

Grande was too choked up to finish “thank u, next” line, “Wish I could say thank you to Malcolm / ‘Cause he was an angel,” and could be heard crying through the rest of the verse. The crowd came through and sung the remainder of the lyrics until Grande was able to join them in the chorus.

Sweetener intro “raindrops (an angel cried)” was also a difficult song for the Grammy Award-winner to complete, as she could be heard crying throughout the song on the dimly lit stage.

Grande has been honoring Miller since the start of her Sweetener tour in March by keeping an empty seat reserved for him and playing the late rapper’s songs before taking the stage.

Her tour will finish its U.S. leg at Lollapalooza on August 4 in Chicago before continuing on in the U.K.

City Girls’ Yung Miami Shares Video Of Herself Crowdsurfing While Pregnant

This week, Yung Miami the City Girls announced that she is expecting her second child. The world is just now finding out about Caresha’s upcoming daughter but she’s been in the rapper’s life for a few months at this point. Miami has been going hard during performances and she’s been hustling at such a high level while pregnant. Now that the cat’s out the bag, she can share videos and photos her pregnant self from weeks ago but one upload is rubbing people the wrong way.

On Yung Miami’s Instagram story, she added dozens images and clips herself on stage, performing with her mini baby bump. During one video, she actually jumped into the audience and started crowd surfing. We’re not sure that’s the smartest thing to do while a baby is growing inside you. In fact, her doctor would probably scold her if they saw the video. Fans have been reacting to the footage, informing her that she might want to be more careful in the coming months. “Baby mad asf in the womb,” wrote one fan in the comments section after The Shade Room caught hold the vid. Others are bringing up the fact that Yung Miami was threatening to throw hands with Hazel-E a few weeks ago. Once again, she was pregnant during all that.

The rising rapper might want to think playing things cool for the next little while. She’s been hustling hard and now that she and JT have reached a certain level success, she can likely afford some time f.
