Megan Thee Stallion’s Hot Girl Summer is only beginning and Teyana Taylor decided to join in on the movement. After a successful past few months killing the rap game, the Houston hottie brought her talents to the 2019 BET Awards where she performed and hung out with a few celebrities. Following the ceremony, The Stallion made her way to an after-party where all celebrities joined to celebrate and turn up some more. As such, Teyana Taylor and Megan Thee Stallion hung out and had a good time. The two ladies were filmed having a good ol’ twerking session and the captured video has only worked to set social media on fire.
The best part the video is that you can also spot Trey Songz in the background. As you may recall, the R&B singing sensation is someone who has previously shown interest in the Stallion. His continual lurking was captured by the cameraman as he appears to be ready to risk it all one time for the culture. As soon as this hit the web, social media ate it up, and course, fered their comical insight. Check out the video above and some the funny responses to the moment below.
Jared Jacobs, a stop-motion animator, took to Twitter with a Lego recreation the iconic shot. As you would imagine, there was quite a lot work that went into this whole scene as he had to painstakingly take a photo for each movement the players made. Setting up the entire court and all the players couldn’t have been easy either, which makes this even more impressive.
The video was reposted by the Raptors Twitter account and has 681,000 views on the platform. In the animation, Jacobs included the special moment Marc Gasol shared with Joel Embiid in the immediate aftermath the shot. There was no clip Embiid crying in the hallway though. Maybe that will come later.
Few things in life are inevitable. Death, taxes, and the gleeful gallows humor a villainous 50 Cent. Should anything even remotely flagrant transpire under his watchful Sauron-esque gaze, 50 wastes little time in fering up his signature brand commentary. Naturally, when a report surfaced that T.I. and Floyd Mayweather were involved in an altercation sorts, with Floyd’s DJ Jay Bling having taken a few lumps as a result, 50’s take was right around the corner.

Following the release a post-brawl video, which finds Jay Bling leaving the restaurant with his shirt in literal tatters, 50 took to Instagram to fer up a few thoughts. Given his own sordid history with Floyd Mayweather, it’s likely 50 feels that Jay Bling’s misfortune is transferrable unto his big boss, if only by association. Did you expect a sympathetic take from the man who willingly calls himself Fty? Think again.
“Hahahahahahaha Fool be running his mouth like he think he Floyd, then gotta be in the club,” writes 50. “Smh my man you gotta mind your business. @jaybling look like they whooped you out your clothes.LOL.” Strangely enough, Fif paints a what-if scenario sorts – what might have happened if Floyd were indeed the recipient the attack? Check out Fif’s commentary below.

Ahead the New Orleans Pelicans final home game the regular season, All Star center Anthony Davis showed up to the Smoothie King Center wearing a “That’s All Folks!” Looney Tunes t-shirt, foreshadowing his eventual move to the Los Angeles Lakers.
Davis denied having anything to do with picking out the shirt, telling reporters, “I didn’t choose it. I actually didn’t choose it. It was hanging for me already when I put my clothes on.” Pressed further, Davis added, “Every night. Every night Big Shot lays out what I’m gonna wear to the game.” He added, with a smile, “I have no control over that. I just put it on.”
The Pelicans ultimately landed a plethora young players and picks in exchange for the 26-year old All Star. Or, as head coach Alvin Gentry cleverly puts it, “That’s A Haul Folks!”
Gentry took his playful parting jab at AD over the weekend, when asked about the details the blockbuster trade, as seen in the video embedded below.
One particular person was excited that Rihanna was here and made sure to snap a photo with her to immortalize the moment. Lil Nas X, who performed his smash-hit “Old Town Road” with Billy Ray Cyrus, was a first-time guest at the BET Awards. Shortly after it aired, the rapper shared a photo himself and BadGirlRiri his Instagram. We can clearly see the two cheesing hard at the camera as Lil Nas X sports his signature cowboy look. The caption tied to the photo read: “Star Struck,” and we can fully understand. Now, the budding artist can add Rihanna to the list artists he hung out with.
An alternate version the iconic “He Got Game” Air Jordan 13 will reportedly debut at retailers in 2020, according to sneaker source @Zsneakerheadz. s the kicks have not yet surfaced but rumors suggest the sneakers will be a reverse version the white, black and red 13s.
The original “He Got Game” 13s were worn by Michael Jordan in 1997 and gained their nickname from Spike Lee’s classic 1998 film starring Denzel Washington and Ray Allen as the father and son duo, Jake and Jesus Shuttlesworth. The sneakers have been retro’d numerous times since then, most recently in 2018, but we have yet to see any alternate renditions like the rumored reverse colorway.
With a 2020 release date still half a year away, we may have to wait some time before early photos surfaces but you don’t have to be rocket scientist to envision what the reverse “He Got Game” 13s will look like. The photoshop embedded below will give you a good idea what to expect.
At this year’s BET Awards, Cardi B served as the act tasked with opening up the ceremonies.
This time around, the Bronx-grown star kept things in the family, recruiting husband Offset for an assist in her performance with the Migos member flipping his dancing memes on their heads, showcasing his moves on stage in what can be argued to be one the rapper’s most electric performances to date.
As he finished up his into on “Clout,” Cardi would soon appear to give Offset a lapdance while reciting her own verse before appropriately transitoning to her latest “Press” single.
In her history, Cardi has always fared well with on-screen performances and her latest BET primetime spot proved to culminate a nice reminder the young star’s growth thus far, and certainly took a positive turn in the string headlines regarding Cardi’s forthcoming indictment.
The performance also precedes Cardi’s scheduled return to her U.S. tour, which will include a few anticpiated festivals slots inlcuding Philly’s Made In America and the Austin City Music Festival.
It proved to be a healthy start to the awards show for the Quality Contol roster as a whole as Lil Baby was up to accept the night;s first award immediately after, winning the Best New Artist trophy, accompanied onstage by manager Pee, who heads up QC’s label as well as Cardi’s management team.
Soon after, Cardi would return onstage to accept the award for Album Of The Year for Invasion Privacy, beating out peers that inlcuded Travis Scott and Meek Mill. She would thank collaborators such as Kehlani and Chance The Rapper for their work on the album and shutting down doubters with a fact check. “Three times platinum,” she exclaimed.
Although 50 Cent has been focused on collecting debt from other victims, the rapper has not forgotten the $30K reality star Teairra Mari still owes him. Following their lengthy and extremely petty feud which momentarily resolved with Mari finally agreeing to pay up, 50 Cent remained mute about the issue until recently when he asked for a court judge to add an extra $5K to the amount owing. And now, there is more to it. We just reported on Teairra Mari getting arrested for DWI and the sticky situation will, unfortunately, cost a pretty penny. The Love & Hip Hop star was also hit with a charge for driving without a license. Though you will be surprised to find out (sic) that 50 Cent does not care and still wants her to run him his money.
The rapper shared a screenshot a news report informing Mari’s arrest and captioned the post: “Jesus take the wheel, A bitch drunk.I still want my money Monday. (Dirt Bag!)” To note, Teairra Mari’s debt to 50 Cent commenced when the two got into an argument surrounding Mari’s alleged sex tape leak. The latter result in a legal scuffle wherein Teairra Mari was ordered to pay the rapper a hefty sum. The two have since launched a series petty attacks at one another ever since Mari initially refused to pay.
Azealia Banks wears one many hats, but a “working recording artist” is no longer one them, by her own admission. The following is just the latest cause for concern in what’s been a tumultuous journey for her as a musician. The constant push-pull between her and her detractors has brought to a point where – as she so adamantly stated herself… “You will never get another body Azealia Banks work again. Hear me?!?!” she opined before launching into yet another diatribe.
It all begun with Azealia re-posting an exchange with a disgruntled fan. If ever Azealia Banks showed an aptitude for storytelling, it was in this very chaotic sequence non-events. There needs to be one positive takeaway from this derailment sorts. You shouldn’t expect anything less than an instant classic when Azealia’s behind the keyboard.

“Sad thing is I’m the most intelligent and THE MOST talented female rapper and have been for years. Azealia Banks’ last musical fering came to us in December 2018, in the form a 3-piece oddity titled Icy Colors Change. Has the outspoken Banks reached the point oversaturation, over-zealotry? Hit us with your thoughts down below.
A grand jury has indicted the Grammy-winning rapper on 14 charges, including two counts of felony attempted assault with intent to cause serious physical injury, in connection with her alleged involvement in a fight at a Queens strip club last year. According to the TMZ report, other charges include misdemeanor reckless endangerment, assault, criminal solicitation, conspiracy, and harassment.
Cardi was arrested in October for allegedly ordering an attack on bartender sisters, Rachel Wattley and Sarah Wattley aka Jade and Baddie Gi, during the August incident at Angels Strip Club. The women claim they were injured when Cardi’s people threw bottles, chairs, and a hookah after Cardi accused Jade of sleeping with Offset.
She was initially charged with two misdemeanor counts of reckless endangerment and one misdemeanor count of assault, but the charges have been superseded by the grand jury indictment.
Last month, Cardi was offered a plea deal, which she rejected. In return for pleading guilty to a single misdemeanor, she would avoid jail as long as she stayed out of trouble for a period of time.
Prosecution sources tell TMZ that they decided to take the case to the grand jury because of information they discovered during their investigation.
Last night, Cardi was on hand as she became the first female rap recipient of the Songwriter of the Year award at the 34th annual ASCAP Rhythm & Soul Music Awards in Beverly Hills. She was recognized for writing or co-writing the most hits of the past year including “Bartier Cardi,” “Ring,” and “I Like It.”
Since debuting his new EP, ILoveMakonnen has let the greater hip-hop community know that he feels unsupported, despite being paid lip service by a good number characters. The 30-year old rapper singled out Gucci Mane for not giving their recent (January 2019) collaboration “Spendin” the kind promotion he would someone else (in the industry). ILoveMakonnen made his comments during a Beats 1 podcast hosted by Hattie Collins.
“No disrespect to Gucci Mane but he didn’t support the record that we just put out together and I never got to meet him in person as well,” Makonnen said on Beats 1 Radio. “It was just a business dealing. And it’s the music industry, and people deal how they deal in their business. But I haven’t had any vocal support from any them.”
ILoveMakonnen didn’t stop there. Right thereafter, he addressed the double standard he’s come in contact with thus far. It’s apparent he feels he’s been snubbed since outing himself as an openly queer rapper. “To say ‘we accept you and we fuck with you.’ None them have said that to me. It is what it is,” he lamented to his host Collins. His new EP M3 debuted this past week and can be streamed right here. What are your thoughts on the matter?
