Stream Bow Wow and Soulja Boy new joint album “Ignorant Sh*t” below.
It seems like it was only yesterday that Bow Wow and Soulja Boy were rap rivals. But seems they managed to do what a lot rival emcees can’t do and that putting their divorces aside and released a joint project. In 2009 both rappers were going hard at each other in video logs in what was an epic feud. So that makes this album especially surprising.
The 11-track album saw guest feature from Rich The Kid on the single “All About Paper.”

Vybz Kartel step outside his feud with Mavado to release a new single for his female fan base “Fall Ina Love.”
The incarcerated dancehall star teamed up with Seanizzle for the club banger. “Weh the use fi yo have a pumpum my girl and cant control that / You fi quint it like headline pon car in roadblock / When yo skin it out fi mi, stab it with the long sword like Roman soldier,” Vybz Kartel rhymes over a dancehall beat.
The track is in contrast to what we’ve heard from Kartel over the last two weeks in his ongoing beef with Mavado. So far we’ve heard two racks a piece from both sides the divide.
Vybz Kartel has done what no other dancehall recording artist did when he manages to stay relevant in Jamaican music despite being incarcerated for close to five years.

Kevork Djansezian/Getty sNever mind that it was Frank Ocean‘s label’s fault it happened — Kanye West says he’s boycotting the Grammys because Ocean’s latest projects, Blonde and the visual album, Endless, aren’t eligible for consideration this year.
You might recall Ocean’s label, for reasons not really made clear, missed the deadline to submit Ocean’s albums for consideration this year. But it takes more than a silly detail like that to keep Kanye from sounding f. Fan-recorded video his show Saturday night in Oakland, CA, captured Kanye coming to Ocean’s defense.
“The album I listen to the most this year is Frank Ocean’s album,” Kanye declares. “If his album is not nominated in no categories, I’m not coming to the Grammys. As artists we gotta come together to fight the bull****.”
The Grammy nominee eligibility deadline was September 30, after Ocean’s albums were released. The Grammy nominees will be revealed December 8.
DJ Khaled snapchat everything including his fiance Nicole Tuck giving birth to their son on Sunday (October 23). He did it all while playing his song “I Got The Keys” in the background.
The King Of Snapchat documented the process over a 12-hour period including himself meeting with doctors at the hospital and making the rounds to balance and check things all before his son arrived.
While some folks on social media blast Khaled for not giving his fiance some privacy, he did take extra steps not to Snapchat her face or their son. Most his posts were about his anxiety about the birth his son.

Classics, who doesn’t love them? We all have those few songs we miss, even artists too. Almost everyone can say at one point that the Swedish House Mafia was their favorite trio. And ever since that final closing set at Ultra Music Festival in 2013, they’ve been missed so dearly. In the last few weeks, up and coming producer Crankdat has been on a roll of releasing re-cranks to classics we all miss so much. After bringing back Porter Robinson’sUnison, he whipped out yet another one but this time being a tune from the one and only great Swedish House Mafia.
Crankdat brings a new twist on ‘Save The World’ by giving it a modern house flip while still retaining the nostalgic melodies of the original. If you love that hard bass-kicking house music, this re-crank is the one for you. Check out his new track below and make sure to grab your limited free download while you’re at it. Enjoy!

There’s nothing that the electronic music community loves to hate more than the DJ Mag Top 100 poll. The 2016 reveal was held yesterday and this year’s winner was none other than Martin Garrix. Unsurprisingly, the Dutch phenom, who is the youngest artist to win the award, did not receive as much hate as 2015’s winners, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike. That being said, just like every year, the actual poll itself was scrutinized by some of the top artists in the game.
If you need a reminder, here are the results of the DJ Mag Top 100 poll for 2016:
Now that you’ve been refreshed, let’s take a look at reactions from deadmau5, Dillon Francis, Eric Prydz, Dyro and more.

Taylor Hill/Getty sAzealia Banks no longer wants to be signed to RZA‘s record label, the rapper told TMZ, following Azealia’s alleged altercation with actor Russell Crowe.
“I’m not signing s*** with RZA. Absolutely not,” she said emphatically in a TMZ video clip.
“If these guys can chump you out like that, you know, that’s, like, not somebody that I need to attach myself to,” Banks goes on.
“I’m strong enough on my own. When you have a label boss… he’s gonna be the one leading me and he’s gonna be my representative. I can’t be represented by, like, some chump.”
RZA invited Azealia to a Beverly Hills hotel party hosted by Crowe last Sunday. That’s where Azealia alleges the Hollywood actor assaulted and spit on her and called her the n-word, before throwing her out his hotel room because, she claims, she rejected Crowe’s sexual advances.
Crowe, RZA and other witnesses, including comedian Jim Jefferies, have denied Banks’ claims.
Well it appears that not only does Desiigner have boards in Atlanta, he is also looking to recruit a few in Philly. Reports have surfaced that when the Philadelphia 76ers take on Russell Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder on October 26th, Desiigner and songstress Sevyn Streeter will be in the building.
Sevyn Streeter is reportedly set to open the 2016-17 NBA season with the Sixers by singing the National Anthem and G.O.O.D music’s own Desiigner will perform his hit record “Panda” during halftime. The Sixers will even be giving out Sixers themed Pandas. That is dope if you ask me.

Katherine ThorntonThe Michel’le biopic Surviving Compton: Dre, Suge & Michel’le, paired with the after-show documentary Beyond the Headlines: Michel’le, delivered big numbers for Lifetime over the weekend.
According to Nielsen Media Research as reported by Shadow and Act, the two telecasts reached 9.4 million viewers Saturday and Sunday, with Saturday night’s Surviving Compton premiere averaging 2.3 million total viewers among adults 25-34 and women 18-49.
The Lifetime original film was also the most social television program the day, besides sports, with 216,000 unique people generating 506,000 interactions on social media during its premiere.
Its follow-up documentary, Beyond the Headlines: Michel’le, also managed to average 1.9 million total viewers, retaining a strong 83% those who tuned in to Surviving Compton.
The film, which follows the life story singer Michel’le and her triumph over abuse and adversity, stars Rhyon Nicole Brown as Michel’le, Curtis Hamilton as Dr. Dre and R. Marcos Taylor reprising his role as Suge Knight from last year’s feature film Straight Outta Compton.
Over the past several months, the city of Chicago caused quite the scare among club and venue owners. According a section of Cook County Department of Revenue code, the city implements an amusement tax, which enforces a three percent tax of all ticket sales from venues with a capacity of 750 or less, unless the tickets are sold for “live theatrical, live musical, or other live cultural performances”. Unfortunatly, many of the clubs being sought out to pay those tax fees back were home to many dance music acts, which is not classified under the title of a cultural “fine art” form.
Fortunately, the nightmare for Chicago clubs is over. According to a press release from Commissioner John Fritchey on October 14th, 2016, “all sides have come to an agreement on language amending the County’s amusement tax ordinance in order to clarify reporting requirements for small venue operators by recognizing the validity of live music and DJ performances as recognized art forms”. The city came to an understanding that they can’t compartmentalize culture by intentionally disconnecting entire art forms, like DJing, from being officially recognized as “good”. This big step forward means that owners no longer have to worry about paying the large amount of taxes.
The new measure is not only forward progress for the city of Chicago, but for EDM and electronic genres in general. Like Berlin and Vienna before it, Chicago is now a part of dance music’s upward climb to culturally integrated acceptance.
Fritchey’s amendment is set to be heard on October 26, 2016.
Credit: Rock and Roll Hall Fame and MuseumJanet Jackson, Chaka Khan, disco-funk band Chic and the late Tupac Shakur have all been announced as nominees for Rock and Roll Hall Fame Class 2017.
