As the world esports continues to grow at an unstoppable pace, everyone seems to want in. That, “everyone,” now includes Offset. The Migos rapper posted a photo himself on Instagram to announce that he is now an investor in the famous esports team, FaZe Clan. In a post himself rocking a yellow FaZe Clan hoodie, he wrote, “PROUD TO ANNOUNCE OWNERSHIP INVESTMENTS @fazeclan LETSSS GOO #FaZEUp.” Concurrently, FaZe Clan’s ficial Instagram posted a similar photo the rapper with the caption, “Welcome to the fam, @fsetyrn #FaZeUp.”
According to ESportsInsider, in a press release, Offset said the deal, “I love gaming and esports is the future. These two facts make it only right that I be a part the biggest esports organization with some the best players in the world,” to which FaZe Clan CEO Lee Trink added, “FaZe Clan goes beyond gaming and esports – we’re leading a transformation in culture and entertainment. Offset represents a new generation cultural leaders who understand that shift. FaZe Clan is redefining what it means to be an iconic entertainment brand and working with a visionary like Offset is another step towards the future – we not only dominate in competitive gaming we are setting new trends across content, merchandise, brand partnerships, and beyond.”
The financial specifics have not revealed at this time, but Offset is just one many artists from the music industry who have ventured into esports. Drake, Diddy and Wiz Khalifa all have partnered with various esports organizations.
Dallas Cowboys fans have been sweating recently thanks to the contract situations going down with players like Dak Prescott and more importantly, Ezekiel Elliott. As right now, Elliott is holding out from training camp and is refusing to report there until he gets the money he wants. The issue with Zeke’s holdout is that running backs aren’t valued like they used to be and the Cowboys are worried that he could go into a steep decline after being paid by the team.
As we go deeper into the preseason, Elliott’s holdout becomes more and more concerning although team owner Jerry Jones doesn’t seem to be in too much a rush to really do anything about it. While this is concerning for Cowboys fans, they should rest assured that things will get better soon as Jamie Foxxrecently told TMZ about how a deal is going to be in place in the near future.
“I got the word, I got the underlying word,” Foxx explained. “That it’s all the way, all the deals are being worked out. Look out, baby!”
Foxx isn’t exactly a journalist although he has been spotted at their practices in the past and seems to know some people within the organization. If Foxx’s report happens to be true, then perhaps the Cowboys won’t be a mess this season after all.
Last night, Young Thug had ample reason to celebrate. With his birthday ficially kicking f at midnight, in tandem with his debut studio album So Much Fun, Thugger made sure to throw a bash befitting his “Slime Boss” status. While last year’s birthday bash ultimately ended poorly for the Atlanta icon, what with him being arrested for gun charges and all, this go-around appeared to fire f without a hitch. TMZ provided a few tidbits about the evening’s festivities, which found several notable figures sliding through to hold it down.

Among them were Meek Mill, Gunna, Ben Simmons, Bre Tiesi, Maxo Kream, Cash XO, and more. Also on deck was a veritable stash Remy Martin, the essential component to three “Slime” themed cocktails, appropriately titled “Slime,” “The London” and “So Much Fun.” For all you aspiring bartenders out there, “Slime” consists Remy V.S.O.P, Ginger Beer, and Lime. “The London” consists Remy XO, Brown Sugar, and Bitters. And “So Much Fun” consists Remy 1738, Lemon Juice, Simple Syrup and Club Soda. At this point, all signs point to an evening celebration, though perhaps a few hangovers are being nursed as we speak.
Meek Mill is less than a year removed from the release his latest project, Championships. He’s been teasing new music since then including a “summer pack” which we’ve yet to receive but maybe it’ll be coming soon. As he stays previewing new music on social media, he hit the ‘Gram with a short clip himself and Quavo in the studio working on a new song with Papamitrou Boi. Papz is one Meek’s go-to producer these days, putting in a ton work on Championships. On this record, he serves up a dark, electrifying beat and Meek and Quavo are heard snapping on the record. Meek also revealed that Offset is also on the song but there’s no audio his verse included in the clip.
This new single that Meek’s teasing comes just a few days after he teased a remix to Pop Smoke’s “Welcome To The Party” on his Instagram page. Much like the song with Offset and Quavo, it’s unsure when we could expect it to drop, if ever, but we’re definitely excited for more music from Meek and Dreamchasers as a whole now that Meek’s label has partnered with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation. Although he hasn’t announced a new album just yet, we’re hoping that he actually does follow through with giving us some sort project before the year’s end.

Kanye West and Adidas will reportedly debut the first Yeezy basketball sneaker at some point in 2019, it just remains to be seen exactly when.
The Yeezy Basketball “Quantum” colorway has surfaced numerous times throughout the year, including on the feet Kanye and Kim, leading to even more speculation that a release is indeed on the horizon. Despite the leaked images, we haven’t really been able to get a good look at what the kicks truly look like. That is, until now.
Thanks to IG user @KickWhoShow, we finally have a plethora crystal clear on-foot images as well as some other detailed shots the first Yeezy Basketball sneaker.

Quality Control has been keeping their presence felt, most recently culminating in their compilatory Control The Streets: Volume 2. With features from Migos, Lil Baby, City Girls, Lil Yachty, DaBaby, and many more, the label clearly has no intention on slowing their breakneck pace – even if it means breaking the inherent promise their namesake. While some feel as if the QC brand has diluted late, others welcome the prolific drop rate. And look for it to get even more hectic upon JT’s release, and the City Girls reunion transpires in full.
Today, QC CEOs Coach K and P sat down with Rosenberg, Laura, and Ebro to discuss a variety topics. Eventually, conversation turned to the incarcerated JT; though Yung Miami has been holding it down accordingly, the City Girls haven’t quite felt the same since she’s been gone. Luckily, P confirms that she’ll be right back to work the moment she touches down. “When JT come home she going to the halfway house,” confirms P, around the 34-minute mark. “But the great thing about the halfway house is they let you go on work release, so soon as she’s out she’s gonna be locked in the studio working,” explains P, providing a silver lining to the situation.
“Hopefully she’ll be out next month,” he suggests. “In a few weeks if everything go how it’s supposed to go.” As for now, JT is currently serving a bid for felony identity theft charges. Look for that to come to an end within the next couple months, should all go according to plan. In the meantime, keep City Girls momentum alive by streaming Control The Streets 2 right here.

Earlier this week, 2K announced the All-Decade “Legendary Teams,” including the starting fives for the ’80s, ’90, 2000s and 2010s. The latest 2K20 news also pertains to iconic teams from years gone by, as they have announced six new “Classic Teams” that will be available in the upcoming video game.

The depravity R. Kelly literally knows no bounds. As his ongoing trial continues (once again without his presence), TMZ has provided a little bit additional insight into the prosecution’s angle. As it happens, they appear to be holding onto some damning evidence, accusing Kelly transporting underage girls across state lines, all while leaving a trackable paper trail in his wake. Apparently, prosecutors have amassed their fair share receipts, as it were. Some them, as detailed by the publication, include as follows: birth certificates, hotel bills, Uber receipts, medical records, flight records, and more.

Apparently, they hold possession a receipt placing Kelly and one his underage companions at the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel, as well as the Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut, and Las Vegas’ Planet Hollywood Resort. While this in itself might not be enough to seal the deal, TMZ claims that the prosecutors are looking to nab him over Mann Act violations: in which one cannot transport another person across state lines for the purpose illegal sexual favors.
It’s unclear if and when R. Kelly will be brought down, or what will be the nail in his proverbial cfin, but the walls appear to be closing in at a rapid pace. Be sure to stay tuned for more developments on the Trial R. Kelly, even if he doesn’t plan on showing up.
Jussie previously stated how he believes the case “appears to be an unprecedented effort to seek penalties and resources expended in connection with allegedly false statements made to the police where the related criminal case concerning the statements was dismissed nolle pros on all counts.”
TMZ now reports that the 34-year-old is threatening to take legal action against the city “for their conduct underlying the arrest and their conduct thereafter.” According to the publication, Jussie believes he’s the victim ” a malicious prosecution” and wants to retaliate on the city for their vicious legal moves.
There’s still been no word on the special prosecutors report on his findings since reviewing the case but if anything comes to light that is the least bit suspicious, Jussie will have a tough battle ahead him.
We used to only hear about all the messiness in Blac Chyna’s life through social media and news reports but she decided she wanted to give us more insight into her life with a reality show. The Real Blac Chyna provides a scripted look into the life Chyna which seems just as messy as the TMZ reports suggest. In the latest episode her show, Blac Chyna and her BFF, Treasure, get into a heated argument that results in Treasure’s departure from the show.
Blac Chyna shared a clip from her new show on Instagram where she and her friend had a huge blowout over money. Chyna is already going at Treasure’s neck, claiming that she’s exactly like Toni Tokyo. “I give you money on top thousands and thousands dollars. You’re so ungrateful. You into the category , like, Toni and that’s how I’m lookin’ at you and it’s really sad,” Chyna said before revealing that she’s given Treasure so much money that she had to write her f on her taxes.
“No, you asked me to fill out a W9 to help you embezzle money,” Treasure said in response.
After Chyna blasts treasure for even saying that, she kicks her out her house, and inevitably, f the show as well. Peep the clip below.

“FVCK YOU” is intended to be a modernized take on “Hip House” that pulls at the roots of early Hip Hop and house music.
“Being that my roots are in Hip Hop, I strive to always keep those roots in making my records,” E-Clyps tells HipHopDX. “Getting the opportunity to work with Too $hort made this one special just because of his pure body of work as an artist. I grew up listening to his music.
“He’s also one of the kings of the club bangers, so having him on it was a no-brainer. I wanted him to do what he does best. I didn’t request anything specific, but to just treat it like any other Too $hort record, not write to it like a house record.”
E-Clyps, who grew up in both San Diego and Indiana, draws inspiration from artists such as Green Velvet/Cajmere, Todd Edwards and Masters at Work as well as Dr. Dre, Timbaland, Snoop Dogg, Battlecat, Busta Rhymes and Nas.
The idea was to meld these worlds together into one track.
“It had to have that real Short Dogg feel to it for it to work,” he adds. “The goal was to make a house record that appealed to more than just the house music listeners, but also to draw the ears of Hip Hop/rap heads, too. I feel like we pulled it off, but that’s for the listeners to determine.”
The “Power” executive producer recounted how Snoop Dogg “stole” his car during his appearance on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.” Both rappers were performing at the Masters of Ceremony concert at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center in June when Snoop surprised him by showing up on stage to perform their “P.I.M.P. (Remix).” But when 50 got off stage, his custom Versace Lamborghini Aventador was missing.
“I came out and the car was gone,” said Fif. “He walked by the car, saw the car and was like, I don’t know if it was jealous feelings or something, but he actually went to the car and got in the car ’cause the keys are in there.”
50 was searching for the car before he found out that the valet had given it to Snoop. “And the guy that’s supposed to be like the valet parker, I was like, ‘Where did the car go? And he was like, ‘Snoop took the car.’ I said, ‘What?’ I’m like how you just let him take my car. ‘Cause Snoop be [smoking weed] a lot. I think he thought that was his car for a minute.”
50 believes Snoop may have taken the car in exchange for the performance. “Later I made a tape saying that I owed him for the performance because he feel like you got me performing for free and you got cars like this out here. He thought I tricked him into a performance, but he offered to perform.”
50 previously described the incident on Instagram, revealing that Snoop may have taken the car as payment for showing up and performing with him. Snoop even documented himself backstage stealing the car, which he said was “made for a Crip.”
“50 Cent, ni**a owe me some money, so I’m just gonna take the ni**a car right now,” said Snoop. “50, I’ma gonna take your car cuz till you give me my money.”
Trina is breaking her silence on the controversy surrounding her “BAPS” collaboration with Nicki Minaj.
Earlier this week, Reginald Saunders, an A&R executive for Trina’s Rockstarr Music Group, called Minaj a “deceiver and manipulator” after she reportedly refused to promote the track and shoot a video for it.
“This isn’t the first time @nickiminaj has pulled this stunt and trust me it’s cool. I can’t get over how fake people can be for a Lil fame , likes and followers,” said Saunders. “I can’t wait to see how all of this is about to play out because you can’t stop karmas reign, shame on you .. I mostly feel sorry for the #barbs because they have no clue of the deceiver and manipulator their leader is.”
The original post has since been deleted, but Minaj did address the drama on Queen Radio this week and called out Trina for not checking her team.
“For your team or anybody’s team to feel like I owed you anything or to go out and disrespect me because I’m showing love to another female and you’re not gonna check them, then that’s not cool,” she said. “I dropped my own song that same day and still asked you, ‘Hey, come up to Queen Radio and promote your album.’ These are things that I don’t have to do. I’m not entitled to do anything for anyone. No one does anything for me. Y’all don’t go out of your way to stop the hate and jump in front of the hate train for me and do all of that shit.”
Trina weighed in on Instagram Live Wednesday, downplaying rumors that she and Nicki have beef. “This isn’t about Nicki Minaj and a video. I had a 45-minute conversation on the phone with Nicki Minaj about business, about my record, about this song, about everything. It’s not about a video. It’s bigger than a video. The video is just a portion of what’s happening.”
During their conversation, she acknowledged that Nicki did her part and doesn’t fault her. “That wasn’t a discussion that we had. The discussion was more so about the business. I respect that. She did her part. It’s up to me and my team to do our part. That’s how I feel about it. This is my project. I worked six years for this. I don’t expect nobody—not Nick, not nobody else on the album, not my team, not nobody to do what I need to be done for my project.”
She also accepted accountability on behalf of her team. “My team speaking out, my team got so much to say, I’ma take the blame for my team ‘cause guess what, me and my team, we dropped the ball,” she added. “Bad business is what’s causing all of this havoc to happen. All of this nonsense, all of this drama, this personal, everybody got an opinion, that’s what it is, it’s bad business. It has nothing to do with any artist that’s featured on my album.”
During her IG Live session, Trina revealed that all the features on her album The One, including Nicki, were done based on her personal relationships and no money was exchanged. “However you feel, I’m not gonna sit here and allow or accept you to be disrespectful to nobody that contributed to my album. I put out a great body of work. I put out an amazing album. I worked extremely hard. There’s no major, there’s no nothing. There was just Trina, the grind, my relationship, and my name, my brand. Every feature on my album are people that believed in me, that did favors for me. I didn’t pay for these features. They were favors. Do you know what a favor is? That means I f**k with you, that’s why I did this favor.”
She also defended Nicki and chided her A&R for disrespecting her. “It’s a lot of stuff that’s going on. Everybody’s frustrated. Everybody has an opinion and you’re entitled to that, but you’re not gonna disrespect nobody, another female artist,” she said. “You’re not gonna disrespect Nicki Minaj or nobody else that’s on my album because these people did this off my face and my favor.”
In the end, Trina has decided to take the high road. “I’m not here for the blame game. I don’t do the messy publicity stunts, the public—all that shit, I don’t do that. I’m not an Internet thug or Twitter fingers. I don’t do all that. I’m not gonna play the blame game. I’ma take full responsibility from everything that came from my side. This is my project, my album. I’ma stand on 10 toes and deal with that.”
