As conservative radio talk show host Michael Berry put it, “Hey @BoyzIIMen, an entire nation is applauding you right now. Beautiful rendition the anthem our nation. One the most glorious presentations it I’ve ever heard, gentlemen.”

Another wrote, “The @NFL should fly @BoyzIIMen around the country so they can sing the National Anthem at every 1 and 4pm game. That was awesome.”

In any case, Kanye West’s newest line will surely find a willing crowd, who have come to cherish his additions to the fashion industry. In case you were wondering which ladies earned the change to be immortalized in Yeezy history, the list goes as follows: Mia Malkova, Riley Reid, Lena Paul, Abella Danger, and Kendra Sunderland. A word warning, however; the shirts are highly NSFW, so if you’re doing your shopping on company time, do so at your own peril.

Childish Gambino Confirms "This Is America" Tour Will Be "Last Ever"

Looks like it’s ficial. Thursday night (Sept.6th) Childish Gambino kicked f his “This Is America” tour in his hometown Atlanta at the city’s Infinite Energy Arena. While fans piled in to enjoy the show, Gambino made sure they left with a little something—no matter how devastating.

“Number one, if you’re at this show, then you know this is the last Gambino tour ever,” he said before the crowd in a clip uploaded by a user. “I love you forever for supporting me and coming out for this shit. Second, if you’re in here, that means you bought a ticket. So, you don’t need to film this shit. Experience this shit. This is not a concert. This is fucking church. If you’re not here to celebrate life, if you’re not here to enjoy your time here, if you’re just here to hear your favorite song, you should go home right now and do that. I’m here to have an experience with y’all tonight, you feel me?”

Of course, this echoes previous sentiments brought forward by the multi-hyphenate within the last year. After a period “will he or won’t he” debates, he’s put it in the plainest terms. Of course, it isn’t the final nail in the cfin. The Atlanta tour stop was host to a couple new tracks debuted live during the showand the “This Is America” trek will continue well into the end October as he weave through cities like Chicago, Toronto, Dallas, and wraps up at the Voodoo festival in New Orleans on October 26th.

XXXTENTACION Shooting Suspects Give DNA Samples In Court

Despite initial rejections, the murder suspects in the shooting death XXXTENTACION have had their fingerprints and DNA taken in court according to a Fort Lauderdale ABC affiliate. It was Wednesday morning that the four men—Trayvon Newsome, Robert Allen, Dedrick Williams, and Michael Boatwright—were led into a Broward County courtroom. Last month the county’s state attorney’s fice filed a motion asking the judge for fingerprints and DNA samples from all four the suspects.

Lawyers for Boatwright, Allen and Williams protested the motions saying that the fingerprints the three suspects were already taken, and asserting that their clients’ rights were protected against “any illegal search or seizure.”

Ultimately, Judge Michael Usan allowed for the fingerprints to be taken for Boatwright, Allen, Williams, and Newsome. Newsome’s legal team never objected to the original motion.

All four men were indicted for the alleged roles in the June 18th robbery and murder 20-year old XXXTENTACION. Authorities believe that Newsome and Boatwright were the two gunmen, with Boatwright being the one who actually fired a shot while Williams is believed to have been the getaway driver.

Boatwright was arrested on July 5th on an unrelated drug charge and was subsequently served with a warrant on July 10th for first-degree murder while in custody. Allen was caught after a task force intervened while he was hiding out at his sister’s home in Georgia while Newsome turned himself into police at the top August.

On Thursday (August 6), Minor and Canon released their newest track and visual, “It’s Not A Game.” The track features the Reflection Music artists going bar for bar as they rhyme about their musical aspirations.

“Every time I’m the studio with Canon, the chemistry is always instant. We said we needed a song to capture the vibe of the tour and out came ‘It’s Not A Game,’” Minor tells HipHopDX.

As for the video, perfect timing came into play and Derek and Canon found themselves shooting it in West Palm Beach.

Mike Will Made It, Wiz Khalifa & Miley Cyrus Hit With "23" Lawsuit

Miley Cyrus, Mike WiLL Made-It and Wiz Khalifa are facing allegations that they stole their 2013 single “23” from artist Yella the Triple Threat according to The Blast.

Texas artist Yella, born Ariella Asher, claims she dropped “Js On My Feet” featuring Fleetwood in 2012 (a year before the aforementioned trio), calling it a “hit original musical composition.”

Asher states that her friend gave Mike WiLL the song during a 2013 meeting, who then copied the “J’s on my feet” lyric for his hit single. “23” reached #11 on the Billboard Hot 100, and has amassed nearly 800 million YouTube views.

Asher says she hasn’t received any profits or credit from Mike Will’s version.

Now, five years later, Asher is suing the group for copyright infringement and is seeking an undisclosed sum in damages. She is also requesting a stop on all future plays of the record.

#DXCLUSIVE: RVNES Embraces Red Darkness In Pusha T & Chevy Woods-Assisted "Hurt" Video

Los Angeles, CA – After blessing the world with “Hurts,” his well-manicured collaboration co-starring Pusha T and Chevy Woods, Los Angeles-based producer RVNES has unveiled the crimson-tinged official music video through a HipHopDX premiere.

And he’s here to give some authentic context behind the song’s creation.

“‘Hurts’ is a song that’s several years in the making and involved what I can only describe as fate,” RVNES exclusively tells DX. “I originally produced the song while living in Dallas, TX and it wasn’t until a year later that Pusha got on it. I didn’t even know it was official until he sent back the finished verse. We hadn’t heard any kind of full confirmation just that he liked the song, but he actually went into the studio after an Art Basel party in Miami one night to cut it.

“The day I got his email I got a Facebook memory of a photo of me, No Malice, and Pusha T backstage at a Clipse show in Atlanta seven years earlier. I literally met Pusha as a fan on the exact same day I got a track with him as a producer, just seven years apart. The reason I sat on the instrumental for so long and turned down so many other opportunities was because I knew in my gut something like this would happen. Then when Chevy came into my life and heard the record we got to chopping it up about what I was thinking and I immediately knew he could deliver. And boy did he. But that was almost a year after Pusha recorded his verse, and it would be another six months before visuals went into the works. ‘Hurts’ is almost six years old now and has gone through a long and tiresome journey that was fully worth it and just like fate told me to wait, fate told me now is the time to share what we’ve created with the world.”

Although that’s quite the backstory, RVNES has been true to his craft for years; having already collaborated with the likes of Young Dolph and Drake producer Supah Mario.

Kanye West & Lil Pump Drop Pornhub Awards-Sanctioned “I Love It” Video

Los Angeles, CA – Last night (September 6) at the Porn Hub Awards, for which Kanye served as the creative director, Ye premiered a cartoonish new Spike Jonze visual for “I Love It” featuring Lil Pump.

Also featuring comedienne Adele Givens, the video has Pump — who is apparently headed to jail — and Yeezy dropping explicit lyrics while walking around in oversized suits. If ever porn stars needed a true Hip Hop anthem, “You’re such a fuckin’ hoe, I love it,” could be it.

The video also provided some context for the hilarious oversized Yeezy slides that Kanye posted in response to his roasting for wearing slides that were too small.

As Creative Director, Ye styled all of the presenter’s clothing, designed the actual awards for the show, which was hosted by porn star Asa Akira. He also joined opening performer Teyana Taylor on stage for a performance of “Hurry.”

#DXCLUSIVE: LoneMoon Gets Real With "Back To It" Video

HipHopDX Premiere: Burgeoning Hip Hop artist LoneMoon has dropped a new visual for “Back To It.”

Written by the main character Ace Blackberry, the video was shot in a small Iowa town. For a full week, the Oklahoma native slept in his car in freezing temperatures to capture all the footage, which he called an “amazing experience.”

“We set out to entertain others,” LoneMoon tells HipHopDX. “That’s something I’ve struggled with all my life. I feel like I’ve pretended to be someone other than myself for a long time. It was just so other people would accept me.

“’Back To It’ is about staying on track and not giving up, not falling for any temptations — like hurting myself to entertain others, or pretending to be someone else in order to please or satisfy those around you.”

The track is taken from LoneMoon’s forthcoming album, Better Luck Next Time, which is expected to arrive on October 9.

“The concept of the album is to present an illustration of the death of a part of my artistry/myself as a person,” LoneMoon says. “It’s a testament to leaving parts of me behind that publicly ‘define’ me in the past — whether or not those attributes given to me by others were true to me or not.

Better Luck Next Time is, I believe, my first completely self-produced venture, so it’s an extremely liberating point in my career. I’m ready to take my sound where I want it to go. The artwork depicts my previous public image dying and my previous self, soon to be replaced by the future. I hope that the people that hear this project stick around to experience it.”

The Cranberries' Dolores O'Riordan Drowned in a Bathtub While Drunk

The Cranberries lead singer Dolores O’Riordan accidentally drowned in her bathtub, according to a coroner’s inquest that was released on September 6th.

O’Riordan was found dressed in pajamas and submerged in a bath at her London hotel on January 15th of this year.

Police didn’t find a note at the scene, and there was no evidence of self-harm.  But several small bottles of alcohol were present. The coroner’s toxicology test showed O’Riordan had a blood alcohol level that was more than four times the legal driving limit.

The report also suggested “therapeutic” amounts of prescription medication were found in her system.

Coroner Shirley Radcliffe ruled the death an accidental drowning due to alcohol intoxication.  Inquests are held to determine what happened in cases of violent or unexplained deaths.

“There’s no evidence that this was anything other than an accident.”

O’Riordan’s mental health problems have been well-known within the industry.  Last year, The Cranberries cut their world tour short due to ‘back problems’ she reportedly faced.  She also mentioned in a 2013 interview that she attempted to take her own life but stated, “I am meant to stay here for the kids.”

In other interviews, O’Riordan spoke about being molested as a child and the subsequent battles with depression.  She also talked about being diagnosed with bipolar disorder and how that affected her life and music.

The Cranberries formed at the end of the 1980s in Limerick before moving on to become international stars with songs like ‘Zombie’ and ‘Linger’.

Before her untimely passing, O’Riordan was in London for a recording session which would be followed by a tour.  Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar called her “the voice of a generation.”
