The charges were reportedly filed by prosecutors in February.

The media outlet notes that one charge was fully dropped so Offset does not have to worry about his felony charge possession a weapon during the commission a crime. Last month, the rapper entered a not guilty plea and he will be appearing in court in May.

Offset has been sharing plenty family photos during the Easter holiday and this is the first bit negativity that has affected him in seemingly a few weeks. Hopefully, he and his legal team are able to get out this clean.

Gunna Reveals "Drip Season 4" Is On The Way

College Park rapper Gunna derives from the Young Thug school thought. Which is to say, cherish expensive fabrics and never leave the studio. The latter quality has led to a prolific run from the melodic Gunna, who recently dropped f his divisive Drip Or Drown 2, alongside singles like “Speed It Up” and “One Call.”

The project fell on the heels Gunna’s already busy 2018, which brought Drip Season 3 and the Lil Baby assisted Drip Harder album into his discography. Now, it would appear that Gunna is once again looking to keep the pattern alive, having revealed another chapter his beloved series is in the works.

After two fans caught up with Gunna, presumably outside a recording studio, they proceeded to inquire about his upcoming plans. His response was enough to get the ball rolling: “Drip Season 4 on the way.” While the fans in question are visibly excited, others are slightly more wary about Gunna’s “sped up” workflow. Still, the Atlanta rapper has proven capable delivering quality, and we have no doubt he’ll continue to impress. You excited for that new Gunna, or should he take a break to craft something truly spectacular?

Ronda Rousey Unsure Of WWE Future: "We Want To Have A Baby First"

Ronda Rousey recently invited her fans to Browsey Acres, where she and her husband, Travis Browne, seem to be enjoying the time away from WWE.

The duo have made it clear that they’re trying to start a family  their own, meaning Rousey will be out the ring for an extended period time. In fact, Rousey revealed that she won’t truly know her future in WWE until after the baby is born.

As seen in the video embedded below, Rousey discussed her plans to have a baby and provided an update on the broken pinky she sustained while flipping over a table during the main event Wrestlemania 35.

“As for WWE plans in the future, we want to have a baby first. I don’t know what it’s like to have a baby,” Ronda said (H/T TMZ Sports).

“I could look down at this beautiful child and be like ‘f*ck everything, I don’t care about anything else other than this baby.’ And, you’ll never see me again.”

“Or, I could be like my mom, who she trained while she was 8 months pregnant and then won the U.S. Open judo] 6 weeks after giving birth. Which was unbelievable.”

“I don’t think I’m going to try and aspire to her level. But, I’m just saying, you never know, I don’t want to make any promises about the future when I don’t know how I’m gonna feel in the future.”

Tekashi 6ix9ine’s Baby Mama Trashes G Herbo After He Curses Out A Little Boy

Chicago rapper G Herbo is not necessarily seen in the best light at the moment after his arrest last week. The artist allegedly put his hands on his ex-girlfriend and the mother his son, leaving Ari Fletcher with scratches. The social media star said that Herbo “beat her the fuck up” in a statement her own after he was released from jail. Herb has been charged with battery after the incident. That’s not the only thing that has pissed people f though because at his son’s birthday party last week, G Herbo cursed out a little boy who unsafely went down a slide right after the rapper and his one-year-old, threatening to punch him out.

Under no circumstances is it alright to beat up a child. Seriously. Perhaps this is a regular thing that G Herbo teases his friend’s kids for because the little boy was smiling about it but a number his fans have spoken out about the incident. Sara Molina, Tekashi 6ix9ine‘s baby mother, also commented on the video that was live-streamed on Herb’s page, saying that he’s “type ignorant.”

“I never looked at G Herbo no type way,” says Molina on her own live stream. “Until I realized he was type ignorant when he was going down that slide with his fucking son. You over here talking about beating someone’s kid for coming behind you on a slide with your kid. First all, the kid maybe weighed no more than fucking 25-30 pounds and you’re over here talking about beating him up because he came behind you.”

Sara Molina asks why he would feel comfortable speaking to somebody else’s kid like that having his own child in his arms. Watch the video below and chime in.

Future’s Alleged Baby Mama Appears To Have Given Birth

Eliza Reign claims to have been carrying Future‘s baby for the last nine months and publically, Future has done nothing to confirm or deny those allegations. Given his complete radio silence on the matter, we would imagine that the two have dealt with the situation privately to ensure child support does not become an issue once the baby is born. As it stands, the rapper already has five children by different women so there is a reason to believe that Eliza is telling the truth. After all, Future can seemingly get a woman pregnant by just nudging them on the sidewalk. It appears as though the latest addition to Pluto’s growing family has just arrived into the world with Eliza Reign hinting that she may have given birth this weekend.

The social media star posted a photo herself in a hospital bed on Easter Sunday, telling her followers that she’s “still glowing.” She doesn’t outwardly confirm that her baby has been born but there’s enough visual evidence present for fans to safely assume that Future’s newest child is here. The sex the baby has not yet been confirmed but Eliza will likely let everybody in on that soon.

Last week, Reign clapped back at one commenter who assumed Future was not taking ownership this situation, which she took as an opportunity to remind everybody that they have no clue what private conversations she and Future have had. Congrats Eliza and Future!

John Singleton Hospitalized After Suffering Stroke

Boyz N Da Hood, Baby Boy, 2Fast 2Furious, Poetic Justice, Four Brothers, and Shaft are just a few the movies that legendary director John Singleton brought to life. His presence in Hollywood has helped launch several acting careers and he has a number hood classics under his belt. As reported by TMZthe veteran director has been hospitalized after suffering a stroke. A family member told the media site that Singleton checked himself in earlier this week after experiencing weakness in his leg. A plane flight back from Costa Rica appears to be what triggered the medical ailment.

Doctors are currently performing tests and doing rehab for Singleton. Snoop Dogg took to Instagram to ask for prayers for Singleton, who was integral in introducing Black Los Angeles culture to mass media. The director most recently created the hit series Snowfall, and has been spending his time teaching at the USC Film School, instructing a course called Film and Culture. The stroke was considered to be mild, but doctors are still keeping a close eye on the veteran. Among his long list classics, Singleton also worked on The People vs. OJ Simpson: American Crime Story,  Michael Jackson’s music video, “Remember the Time”  Empire, and Billions. We wish the legend a speedy recovery.

Rich The Kid Is Already Wiped Out From Daddy Duties

Rich The Kid welcomed his newborn son into the world last week and the rapper was the most hands-on person in the delivery room, literally pulling his son out his girlfriend Tori Brixx. Just yesterday RTK shared a video the exciting moment leading up to the birth, that sees him and his son racing through the airport in a hurry to get to the hospital.

While RTK is clearly still on cloud nine since becoming a father again, the duties that come with taking care a newborn has seemingly knocked him out. Rich posted an image to his Instagram feed that sees him cuddling his son while he catches some z’s at the same time. “Nothing else matters 👶🏽🤷🏾‍♂️,” he captioned the sweet photo.

The name the Rich and Tori’s son has yet to be announced but we assume it’s been chosen since RTK previously noted how it would be decided right before he was born. “We don’t have a name. We gon’ have a name right before he comes — same week,” the “Plug Walk” rapper told Billboard

Wonder what the little man’s name will be…

City Girls has one Gold certified track and it’s their Cardi B assisted tune “Twerk.” If they were to ever get another RIAA recognized song, it would (by no surprise) be their hit “Act Up.” The City Girls anthem brought on a whole challenge that saw fans videotaping their crew acting up to the song and now we finally know who penned the hit.

Lil Yachty was the latest guest on Kerwin Frost Talks where he opened up about all kinds things surrounding his career and music and shared information on how he wrote “Act Up.”

Nashville Metro Council Condemns Spotify's Anti-Songwriter Stance

How long will Spotify continue to hold out against growing opposition?

Spotify doesn’t seem to have many friends in the music industry anymore.

From top executives – including – and major publishers – such as – the industry has roundly condemned the streaming music giant.

The criticism comes after Spotify (along with three other major tech firms) opposed the Copyright Royalty Board’s (CRB) recent ruling.

In a split decision last February, the CRB a significant 44% streaming royalty increase for songwriters.

As expected, Spotify an appeal, outright refusing to pay the increase.

In published last week, hit songwriters – including Ali Tamposi, Frank Dukes, Teddy Geiger, Babyface, and Nile Rodgers – wrote,

We’re hurt and disappointed.  You created a songwriter relations team and ingratiated Spotify into our community.

You have used us and tried to divide us but we stand together.”

They pushed for the streaming music giant to drop the appeal.

Yet, the company just doesn’t care.

Speaking about the firm opposition to its appeal, CEO Daniel Ek the criticism.  The company would have to increase its prices to pay for the songwriter royalty increase, something it just won’t do.

We think $10 a month is a very, very cheap and an amazing proposition.  But the amount of people who wake up in the morning thinking, ‘Hey, I want to like pay $10 a month for music’ isn’t as great as most people would believe.

Now, as the company continues to ignore songwriters’ real needs, a major music hub has entered into the fray.

When Nashville says No.

In a largely symbolic move, the Nashville Metro Council has adopted a new resolution against Spotify, Amazon, Google, and Pandora.

The resolution, sponsored by Metro Council member Jeff Syracuse, demands the tech firms accept the CRB’s ruling.

Syracuse, who also works in the licensing department at BMI, explained,

I have seen firsthand how technology changes in the industry have not been met with the needed copyright maturity to ensure creators are properly compensated.

We can never take for granted what it means to be Music City.

As stated earlier, the resolution remains largely symbolic.  It doesn’t require the four companies to respond.

Stating Nashville has the “greatest concentration of songwriters” in the world, Syracuse added Spotify has the responsibility to pay them their fair share.

“It’s obviously critically important that we have ble songwriters, because they are the basis of the entire music industry.

Mother Of XXXTENTACION’s Baby Reportedly Requesting Paternity Test

Broward County, FL – The mother of XXXTENTACION’s newborn baby —  Jenesis Sanchez — is reportedly requesting a paternity to definitively prove the slain rapper is the father of little Gekyume Onfroy.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Sanchez filed a petition asking the medical examiner to turn over X’s DNA samples to help her complete a DNA test. Although nobody has really questioned the baby’s paternity, Sanchez apparently wants it on record.

In the docs, Sanchez explained she and X lived together and had “sexual relations during the time that Gekyume was conceived from February 19 through June 18 2018, the day of the Decedent’s death.”

Sanchez is asking the court to permit scientific testing of biological samples of X and the child in order to establish him legally as the father. She also wants the court to order the Office of the Broward County Medical Examiner and Trauma Services to provide DNA samples of X to the scientific testing lab.

X’s mother, Cleopatra Bernard, revealed Sanchez was pregnant shortly after his death. He was born seven months later.

Following the death XXXTENTACION, his mother revealed that he left one last surprise. The rapper was expecting a son before his death with his girlfriend, Jenesis Sanchez. Jenesis gave birth to Gekyume Onfroy in January 26th. According to The Blast, she’s filed a petition to confirm that XXXTENTACION is the father Gekyume.

Jenesis explained that she and XXXTENTACION lived together, having  “sexual relations during the time that Gekyume was conceived from February 19 through June 18, 2018, the day the Decedent’s death.”

She simply wants to prove that XXXTENTACION is the father her child since they weren’t married. She said that nobody has refuted claims that X is the dad but she wants concrete evidence.

She’s requested that the court allow her to obtain biological samples XXXTENTACION in order to move forward with scientific testing and establish that the rapper is legally the father Gekyume.

She asked the court to demand that the Office the Broward County Medical Examiner and Trauma Services supply DNA samples X to the scientific testing lab.

In other XXX-related news, the rapper landed himself 10 Billboard Music Award nominations including Top Male Artist and Top Billboard 200 artist.
