Iman Shumpert has always been seen as a nice role player who can make an impact on any team he plays on. Whether fensively or defensively, Shumpert can pretty well do anything you ask him to. These last few years, he has bounced around the league quite a bit and at the beginning the season, he found himself without a team. According to Adrian Wojnarowski, this has all changed as today, he was signed by none other than the Brooklyn Nets.
For now, it seems like Shumpert will be used sparingly as much their starting lineup and bench has been established. Regardless, the team now has quite a bit depth to work with.
Shumpert’s signing was met with some praise from his fans although unfortunately, many were upset because the news wasn’t about Carmelo Anthony. Melo had been linked to the Brooklyn Nets for some time and fans are still upset that a team has yet to sign him. At this point, it truly feels like the NBA has blackballed him in a way but there is really no way to tell for sure.
Check out some the reactions to the news below and let us know what you think.

Kevin Hart was among the celebrities and other public figures who had gathered for E!’s People’s Choice Awards ceremony Sunday night. It marked the actor and comedian’s first public appearance since a horrific crash in September that left him with major back injuries.
He was awarded the trophy for comedy movie star the year and received a standing ovation as he accepted this award from presenter Robert Downey, Jr.
“First and foremost thank God because I definitely don’t have to be here,” he began “Being that I am, it makes me appreciate life even more — appreciate the things that really matter, family. I wanna thank my wife and my kids. They really stepped up for me.”

September 1st marked the date that Hart, along with producer and friend Jared Black, was involved in a single-car crash when Black lost control Hart’s 1970 Plymouth Barracuda and crashed into a wooden fence.
Hart, who had to undergo emergency back surgery, has since been recovering fairly quickly with a source crediting his “determination” as a driving factor in such a speedy recovery.

Although there is still time for a team to sign Antonio Brown, it doesn’t look like that will happen this season. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Brown is not expected to play in the NFL this season. The polarizing NFL wideout is scheduled to meet with the league this Thursday to address the ual assault allegations he faces. If Brown were to get an fer from any the teams that have been in contact with him, the NFL would be prepared to place him on the commissioner’s exempt list, according to sources. If he is placed on the commissioner’s exempt list, the team that signed him would have to pay him until the league’s investigation is resolved, even if he is not allowed to play. Sources also claim that Brown is not fully cooperating with the investigation. He has yet to turn over all the evidence the NFL has requested.
Brown’s agent Drew Rosenhaus told ESPN that he is “confident Antonio will play again this season.” “I believe the NFL should clear him after they interview him this week, and I expect he will be signed shortly after that,” Rosenhaus stated. Brown seemed less open to returning just last week. In a since-deleted tweet, Brown went in on the NFL.”Imagine conforming to a system giving it a 100 percent to see them treat me like this is unfairly,” he wrote. “Making money f my sweat and blood Fuck the NFL] I’ll never play in that shit treat black people the worse! Clear my name and go fuck your self.”
On Thursday (Nov. 7), an anonymous blog post appeared on Medium that detailed the racist company culture at Facebook. The post was apparently written by a group past and present employees that claimed the racist culture particularly affected black, Hispanic and female Asian employees. This is not the first time the social media company has been accused fostering a racist environment in their fices. In November 2018, a former employee called out Facebook for having a “black people problem.” The recent anonymous post claimed that things have only gotten worse since that accusation was publicized.
Several instances racism in the workplace were shared, but the post also highlighted the general problem: “Racism, discrimination, bias, and aggression do not come from the big moments. It’s in the small actions that mount up over time and build into a culture where we are only meant to be seen as quotas, but never heard, never acknowledged, never recognized, and never accepted.”

The day after the post went up, Facebook executives responded with an apology. “No one at Facebook, or anywhere, should have to put up with this behavior,” Bertie Thomson, Facebook vice president corporate communications said in a statement. “We are sorry. It goes against everything that we stand for as a company. We’re listening and working hard to do better.
A few years ago, Jordan Brand was really into celebrating the history the company with sneaker packs. These packs usually included two shoes that you had to purchase at the same time. One the most popular couplings at the time was the infamous “DMP” pack which came with a black and gold Air Jordan 6. Sneakerheads have been clamoring for this shoe to return on its own but Jumpman has been waiting for the right time to do it.
Apparently, that time is now as the Air Jordan 6 “DMP” continues to be teased with a rumored release date January 25th, 2020. Fans are excited to finally get this shoe back onto the market especially considering all the materials that are involved. The shoe is made black suede and the gold accents make it one the sharpest shoes in the Jordan Brand library. Thanks to @kickwhoshow, we now have some beautiful on-foot images the shoe which will surely get sneakerheads excited prior to the release.
So far, this release is looking incredibly clean and despite dropping early in the year, there is a case to be made it could be the best drop 2020.
According toVariety, Parasite is on pace to pass $10 million at the North American box fice this weekend, making it the highest-grossing foreign-language film in the US this year. It’s an important milestone for Bong Joon-ho’s Korean-language black comedy which has high hopes for the Oscars.
Currently, in first is No Manches Frida 2, which was released back in March and earned $9.27 million domestically.
“It could potentially cross $10 million this weekend since it is adding 142 locations, for a total 603,” Comscore’s senior media analyst Paul Dergarabedian, told Variety.
“Parasite has been riding a wave interest since its debut. Neon’s slow rollout was perfectly orchestrated from day one and this has paid big dividends for the film,” said Dergarabedian. “Parasite is one the most interesting (and unpredictable) films the year and has become one the must-see films the season.”
Parasite has received plenty praise from critics: it currently holds a 99% on Rotten Tomatoes. David Edelstein Vulture writes, “What keeps you rapt in Parasite is the visual wit — every shot distills the movie’s themes — and the richness the characters and performances.” The film critiques class discrimination as the story follows the relationship between a rich and poor family.
The colorful kicks nod to Blue The Great’s love for primary colors, featuring a combination suede and corduroy on the upper with his artist BTG signature located on the heel. Per Nike:
“As ten seen his work, each primary color plays f the one next to it to accentuate it’s individual impact. His red, black and white color suede overlays in this special edition AJ1 are a familiar color blocking scheme to any AJ1 fan, but that combination sets the rest the sneaker up for tasteful experimentation with royal blue, golden yellow and green suede overlays that are worthy a double-take in the streets.”
To celebrate the 30th anniversary the Air Jordan 4, Jumpman has been going all out with the colorways this year and as we approach the end 2019, they are about to unleash their most ambitious creation yet. If you’re not familiar, the four OG colorways the Air Jordan 4 are “Military Blue,” “Fire Red,” “White Cement,” and “Bred.” With the “What The” Air Jordan 4, Jordan Brand is merging all four those colorways together to create a mismatched pair shoes.
As you can see from the Instagram post below, the shoe is mostly covered in white leather whole patches blue, red, black, and grey cement are placed throughout in seemingly random order. It’s a pretty phenomenal look that pays homage to some the best Jordan 4 colorways all-time. Thanks to @zsneakerheadz, we have some beauty shots courtesy Shoe Palace and they make the shoe look even better.
For those looking to cop these, they will most likely be limited although you’ll at least have a puncher’s chance at securing them on Saturday, November 23rd for $200 USD. What’s cool is these will also be coming in full family sizes so there will be something for the whole family.
Trump has said a few racist remarks in the past but to this day, he denies that he’s any sort racist. People have railed against him but he and his supporters still lean on the fact that he used to hang out with rappers. However, he hasn’t really defended himself in recent times with the impeachment inquiry looming and all. His kids, on the other hand, are trying to silence the narrative surrounding their father’s racist tendency.

Trump Jr., the author Triggered: How the Left Thrives on Hate and Wants to Silence Us, which sounds like it was co-written by Alex Jones, Candace Owens, and Tomi Lahren, defends his father against being called a racist. Trump Jr., apparently, has pro, too. He claims that it’s impossible for the president to be racist. Why? Because DJT gave his son permission to hang out with Michael Jackson.
“Oh, and by the way, given all the things my father has been called, particularly a ‘racist,’ it sure sounds odd that he’d let his son vacation with a black man or hang out with Michael Jackson, doesn’t it?'” Trump Jr. reportedly in the book, according to the Daily Beast. “If he’s a racist, he’s sure not very good at it.”
Perhaps the real question is why Eric and Donald Jr. needed permission to hang out with Michael Jackson unless they were underaged. In which case, there might be a few other questions worth asking.
Jordan Peele’s Us is inspiring lots Halloween costumes this year, providing fans with a pretty easy get-up that consists a red jumpsuit, dark circles and a pair scissors. While it’s a great idea and probably a big hit at any Halloween party, Jordan would appreciate if fans kept him out the loop when it comes to tagging him on social media. Why? Because it’s making him quite uncomfortable.

The famed film director chatted with Variety recently and told the publication that costumes he’s been seeing (mostly from emails) have made him feel “uncomfortable.”
“I’ve started receiving a lot people in Tethered costumes, which, it doesn’t make me comfortable,” he explained, as seen in the clip below. “You know, I like the fact that the movie is happening, it’s a phenomenon, it’s resonating, it’s iconic — but, I don’t know, there’s something about … it’s like, they’re impersonating the stalkers and sending me stuff.”
Considering the characters are murderers, Jordan’s piece advice to fans dressing up is to simply “don’t go into that mindset.” The Black-ish cast channeled the Us characters and killed it – peep the picture out below.
Cynthia Erivo is the British actress who portrays Harriet Tubman in the upcoming biopic on the heroic abolitionist’s life that hits theaters November 1st. The 32-year-old has already received some hate for her role in the film since people questioned why an American actress wasn’t cast to play Harriet and now she’s responded to other hate she received from her past tweets.
In 2013, Cynthia sent out tweets that made it seem as though she was mocking Black Americans adding more fuel to people’s belief that an actress who has no controversy on such a topic should have been cast for the starring role in Harriet.
“As for the tweets, taken out context without giving me the room to tell you what it meant–and it wasn’t mocking anyone really,” Cynthia told Shadow And Act. “It wasn’t for that purpose at all. It was to celebrate a song I had wrote when I was 16.”
“I would never…I’ve never spoken negatively about people because I don’t want that, I don’t want that energy from me to others,” she added. “I don’t believe that serves us at all, I don’t believe it serves a purpose other than bringing negativity into my life and your life and I just don’t want that.”
Thanks to Michael Jordan‘s triumphant first championship in 1991, the Air Jordan 6 has always lived in infamy as the first sneaker MJ got his title in. While the most iconic colorway the shoe might be the “Infrared” model, there have certainly been some other phenomenal variations to make their way to the market over the years. One those colorways is the “DMP” fering which is covered in black suede and gold highlights.
Fans have been clamoring for a retro this model and in 2020, sneakerheads will see their wish come through. Yes, that’s right, the “DMP” colorway the Air Jordan 6 is back and it’s looking pretty great so far. Thanks to a brand new image courtesy @zsneakerheadz, we can see some the finer details, especially from the back heel the shoe. Fans in the comments seem pretty excited to have this sneaker making its way back to the market and full disclosure, we’re excited too.
If you’re looking to cop these, it is believed they will be dropping in full family sizing on January 1st, 2020. Let us know in the comments below what you think these and if they’re a must-cop moving forward.
