She may be 15 years older than her beau Niko Khalé, but don’t go around calling Keyshia Cole his “elder.” The R&B singer has been happily in love with Niko for some time now and the couple recently welcomed their son into the world. There have been plenty people who have shared snide remarks about their age difference, but it hasn’t deterred the couple from moving forward.

Keyshia and Niko sat down with Nick Cannon on his Power 106 show Nick Cannon Mornings to talk about music, reality television, and their relationship. Keyshia shared the best piece advice that she’s ever received (“Buy your properties!”), admitted her greatest fear (“That we don’t have any control over this planet”), shared the worst advice she’s ever received (“Go ahead and punch her in the face”), and listed her top five favorite R&B artists (“Faith Evans, Brandy, Monica, Mary J. Blige, Whitney Houston”).
Things took a minor turn when Nick asked Niko about dating “royalty” and said he knew what it was like, referencing his previous marriage to Mariah Carey who is 11 years older than him. While speaking, Nick called Keyshia Niko’s “elder,” and she was quick to snap back. “I am not a f*ckin’ elder!” she retorted. “I am not his f*ckin’ elder. No. Mariah’s your elder. I am not his elder.”
They were able to laugh about it, but Nick did go on to say that Mariah helped to “mold and shape” him into a better man. Watch the interview below.

Sick of all the Christmas music you hear in stores this time of year? You’re not alone — it may even contribute to a decline in mental health.
British clinical psychologist Linda Blair says she believes it causes stress triggers. Listening to Christmas music on loop in the car or at stores reminds people of all their daily stresses. It’s a reminder of all the things that need to be done before the holidays arrive.
With stores starting their Christmas music barrage in early November, the stress period is getting longer.
“You’re simply spending all of your energy trying not to hear what you’re hearing,” she says. Blair says workers in retail stores are most at-risk for being mentally drained by Christmas music. Hearing the same songs over and over makes it hard for employees to focus on tasks at hand.
Blair says the solution is to stop playing Christmas music so early. More prolonged exposure to the cheery tunes causes a mental drain for employees and irritates shoppers. Best Buy started playing holiday music on October 22 this year. Other stores such as Sears, Ulta, and Michaels followed suit just a few days later.
An impromptu poll from the Tampa Bay Times asked people when it is appropriate to play holiday music. More than 54% of respondents said the music is only fitting after Thanksgiving. More surprising is that 11% of respondents said any time after Halloween is just fine. They’re tied with the people who love Christmas music any time of the year.
Songs like the ’12 Days of Christmas’ have morphed into the ’65 Days of Christmas’ for those people. All kidding aside, seeing start up the holiday cheer earlier and earlier is exhausting. I’ve opted for grocery pick-up out of habit to avoid this time of year — the unstated benefit is no Jingle Bells blasting in my ears for an hour.
According to HITS Daily Double, Justin Bieber will release his highly-anticipated new album before the year is over.
The project will reportedly consist of R&B songs, which he dubbed “R&Bieber.” It may also feature some high-profile collaborations including a “possible reunion with Drake.” A tour would also follow.
The superstar singer has been fueling the speculation himself. He teased “R&Bieber” on Instagram last month and told fans that he would release an album before Christmas if he receives 20 million likes.
“Share it, like it, post in your story, I gotta see the demand 😉 love you guys pumped for it!” he wrote on the post, which currently has 12 million likes. “I’m almost done but your support will make me move faster.”
British singer-songwriter Ellie Goulding is threatening to cancel her performance during halftime of the Cowboys-Bills football game this Thanksgiving because of its association with the Salvation Army.
Only five days ago, Goulding announced on Instagram that she would perform during the game at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, which is a holiday tradition that has been taking place for five decades and is watched by millions of people across the country.
For more than two decades the show has also been the start of the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle campaign, which in itself is in its 129th year and ends on Christmas Eve. It aims to provide shelter and meals for the homeless and the hungry while also providing Christmas toys for children and other social service programs. Last year, the campaign raised more than $140 million.
But the campaign’s association with Goulding’s performance has led to backlash.
Many of Goulding’s fans took to Instagram to condemn her because of positions that the Salvation Army has taken that many see as homophobic and anti-trans. This criticism has led Goulding to rethink the performance, which she expressed on Instagram.
“Upon researching this,” she wrote, “I have reached out to The Salvation Army and said that I would have no choice but to pull out unless they very quickly make a solid, committed pledge or donation to the LGBTQ community. I am a committed philanthropist as you probably know, and my heart has always been in helping the homeless, but supporting an anti-LGBTQ charity is clearly not something I would ever intentionally do. Thank you for drawing my attention to this.”
In an email to the Dallas Morning News, David Hudson, who is the national commander of the Salvation Army, denied that his organization discriminates against gay or transgender people. Though he would not say whether the performance would go on.
Ellie Goulding was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2016 for her single “Love Me Like You Do.”
It’s that time year! Some call it “Almost Christmas” and some call it “Mariah Carey Season”. Whenever the holidays start nearing everyone plays “All I Want for Christmas” by Mariah but equally as epic is her 1995 hit “Fantasy.” Well, TikTok created a #FantasyChallenge and users were beside themselves when Mariah Carey entered the challenge herself.

The challenge consists making simple dance moves to matching lyrics the 90’s hit. Mariah created a black and white video for the occasion and seamlessly dances to her own classic looking flawless and fly. Mimi released “Fantasy” as the lead single f her 5th album Daydream. Fun fact: Carey wrote this song with Dave Hall, who were both primary producers on the track along with Diddy. Mimi always slays but the reaction to her throwing her hat into the ring has people exponentially excited. Fans in the comments section on Instagram (including Ryan Reynolds) were so excited by the video, praising Mariah for doing what she does best: slayage. Comments included people calling Carey “TikTok Queen”and “Legend” and there are many heart emojis and exclamation marks used to drive the point home.
People online are saying she is the obvious winner, I mean who could take on Mimi? Who would even want to?
Due to a bad case of tinnitus, Brian Setzer announced that he is cancelling his upcoming Christmas Rocks! tour.
Tinnitus is a condition that causes people to hear incessant noise or ringing in their ears. Often, it is linked with injuries to the inner ear or with hearing loss associated with age.
Setzer’s 16th annual Christmas tour was scheduled to commence on November 15 in Minneapolis and would have featured his 19-piece orchestra. It was to include more than 20 cities, such as Chicago, Atlanta, Detroit, Washington, DC, Nashville, Denver, Phoenix and Seattle before finishing in Los Angeles in December.
Fans can receive ticket refunds at the point of purchase.
While Setzer has gone on a Christmas tour for many years now, this one would have been special, as last month the singer-guitarist released a Christmas-themed album called Rockin’ Rudolph. In addition to two versions of his “Yabba-Dabba Yuletide,” the album includes Christmas classics such as “Most Wonderful Time of the Year,” “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” and “O Little Town of Bethlehem.”
Setzer issued the following statement in conjunction with the announcement:
“It’s heartbreaking to disappoint my fans who have shared my Christmas seasons with me for over fifteen years. I’m truly sorry for the inconvenience this has caused all of the amazing people who make my tour happen and to my unbelievably loyal and devoted fans. I hate to let you down and I hope you’ll understand.”
Setzer rose to fame in the early 1980s with the rockabilly group Stray Cats. A decade later, he also found success with his swing-revival band The Brian Setzer Orchestra.
Earlier in the year, Setzer reunited with his Stray Cats bandmates for their 40th anniversary. They not only went out on tour together but also released an album as well.
We’re only in November right now but because Halloween is ficially over, people are already shifting their attention over to Christmas which is widely considered the most wonderful time the year. Yes, gift-giving, egg nog, and awkward family dinners will be consuming your time very soon which is great news if Christmas is your favorite time the year.
Now that Christmas is within crosshairs, brands are trying to get their Christmas-themed products to the market. Nike is no different and in the past, they have been known to come out with some festive shoes. The latest example this is their brand new Air Max 95 for kids which looks like it has various patterns wrapping paper all around the upper. As for the main colors, red, blue, and green are all represented here so they definitely embody everything that is great about Christmas.
According to Sneaker News, these will be dropping on December 2nd for a price that has not yet been determined. If your little one is in need some shoes for the Holidays, these are a great option.
John Legend and Kelly Clarkson pulled in some criticism for their cover Dean Martin’s Christmas tune “Baby It’s Cold Outside” but that hasn’t stopped them from releasing their rendition. As we previously posted, Dean’s daughter shamed the duo for changing the lyrics even though the song had problematic language surrounding women’s consent.

“I think what he’s done is, he’s stealing the thunder from Frank Loesser’s song and from my dad. He should write his own song if he doesn’t like this one, but don’t change the lyrics. It’s a classic, perfect song,” Deana said. The full version the song has now arrived making the song an instant add to any holiday playlists.
The old lyrics heard Dean try everything in his power to convince a woman to stay for the night while the new lyrics hears John do everything he can to help a woman get on her way, standing by her choice.
“I really can’t stay (baby, it’s cold outside)/ I’ve got to go away (I can call you a ride)/ This evening has been (so glad that you dropped in)/ So very nice (time spent with you is paradise)/ My mother will start to worry (I’ll call a car and tell ’em to hurry).”
The women in 2 Chainz‘s family aren’t to be messed with, because the rapper shared a photo his relatives that encompassed 50 years behind bars. In May 2018, the rapper was excited to welcome home is Aunt Punkin who was released from prison after serving 28 years. 2 Chainz hasn’t been shy about talking about how his mother and aunts played a large role in his life, but he’s also admitted that his family members have had their own run-ins with the law.

“A lot my family has gone to prison,” 2 Chainz told The Urban Daily back in 2012. “One our aunts is still in prison since ’88 and another one our aunts just came home. They went together. And I’ve gone to jail.” He explained that his first stint was when he was 15-years-old after he got arrested on a drug charge. Both his parents were in jail and he was arrested while at school. “And the cycle started from there. I never did a lot time but from there, every other year I would go to jail.”
Now, 2 Chainz is successful enough to provide for his family and give back to those that took care him. In an Instagram post with his aunts the rapper wrote, “Yesterday my aunt Myra (In The red ) turned 70 Thank God , she did 20 years in prison and is still beautiful, in her right mind and driving and my other auntie punkin jus got out from doin 30 !!now won’t he (GOD) do it !!!she looking like it tooo!! #GODISLOVE.” Some real ones. Check out the photo below.
The original “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” has been pulled from Christmas playlists globally due to the problematic language that women the 21st century aren’t here for. Michael Bublé and Idina Menzel re-wrote a popular hit back in 2014 that didn’t dismiss them from naysayers and now John Legend and Kelly Clarkson are the latest artists who shared their remake that Dean Martin’s daughter isn’t here for.

Dean Martin’s version the song is the one with the questionable lyrics but his daughter Deana still isn’t for someone changing things up. “You do not change the lyrics to the song. He’s made it more ual with those words that he has just said. It’s absolutely absurd,” she told Piers Morgan, Complex. “I think what he’s done is, he’s stealing the thunder from Frank Loesser’s song and from my dad. He should write his own song if he doesn’t like this one, but don’t change the lyrics. It’s a classic, perfect song.”
Sharon Osbourne has echoed the same sentiments on The Talk when she called the song “ridiculous.”
“I have to tell you, I love John Legend. I love John Legend’s wife, his family. He’s an amazing artist that I really respect. Why do you do this? That’s not right,” she added.
Record Store Day is releasing a new set of 3-inch vinyls for its RSD3 mini-turntable. The tiny turntable debuted in record stores across the country this year.
The mini-turntable has seen multiple releases this year from artists like All Time Low and Beastie Boys. Now a new collaboration will see vinyls based on classic animations that span several generations.
The Disney/Pixar 3-inch vinyl single series will feature songs from Disney films. Each release also includes a collector’s edition poster and lyric sheet. Singles as part of this collection include “A Whole New World” from Aladdin, “A Part Of Your World” from The Little Mermaid, “Can You Feel The Love Tonight” from The Lion King, and “You’ve Got A Friend In Me” from Toy Story.
Also coming is a 3-inch vinyls blind box series with singles from A Charlie Brown Christmas. The blind box series comes in an outer box that reproduces the original album art and includes one of four songs. “Christmas Time Is Here,” “Hark the Herald Angels Sing,” “Linus and Lucy,” and “Skating,” are all included. Each track comes with a pull-out poster.
Finally, the Steven Universe The Movie soundtrack will be available in the . The soundtrack features collaborations from artists like Chance The Rapper, Estelle, Uzo Aduba, Gallant, and more.
Obviously, Record Store Day is pushing the mini-turntable as a great stocking stuffer for young music fans. This collection of music spans several generations, though some of the Disney song choices are odd. What kid wants to listen to “Can You Feel The Love Tonight” over “Hakuna Matata”? No one, that’s who.
Each of these releases will be available at participating record stores on November 29. You can also pick up an RSD3 mini-turntable if you haven’t gotten one just yet.
Diddy is a very, very, very rich man. The rap mogul has built a fortune over the course his historic career. Filling up his resume with tons impressive accolades, pressional moves and musical ventures, the former Puff Daddy is somebody that you should be modelling your entrepreneurial goals after. Yesterday, the superstar celebrated his fiftieth birthday. What exactly do you get a man who has everything? Especially considering he’s lived for half a century and can buy literally anything he could ever want. If you’re Brother Love’s mother, you cop him a flashy new Cadillac Escalade.
One the birthday presents that ended up coming home with the celebrity was a brand new car, complete with a ribbon and all. In a video presentation from Momma Combs, Diddy received his expensive gift and reacted just like anybody else would after finding out they have a new Escalade: with elation, joy and pure happiness. Wearing a crown atop his dome, Puffy got up out his seat and started jumping around the room like a child on Christmas morning. It looks like he got exactly what he wanted this year. Turns out you only need to spend a hundred thousand to get your son jumping around on his fiftieth birthday.
Take a look at his reaction below and let us know what you would cop Diddy for his bday.
The popstar now seems to be trying to reconnect with Lil Wayne. He posted an aged solo shot Weezy on his Instagram page and wrote, “Love you big bro. Been too long. Miss you dog!”. A goat emoji was also added to show the highest praise. The two have collaborated in the past on “Backpack” f Journals and also both featured on DJ Khaled‘s recent hit, “I’m The One”. Wayne has not commented on Bieber’s post, but perhaps they’ll be catching up behind the scenes and hop in the studio. They better get to it quick because R&Bieber promised to deliver an album before Christmas if one his IG posts gets 20 million likes and considering his 121 million followers, this objective is likely to be reached if it hasn’t been yet.
On November 4, Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG) announced that it had completed a global administration agreement with Farrell Music, which is the publishing company of British pop star Robbie Williams.
The agreement covers not just Williams’ current music catalog but also any future songs he may write. It comes just prior to the release of the singer’s 13th studio album, which is also his first Christmas-themed recording. Scheduled to come out before the end of the year, the double album includes both original compositions and cover songs.
The deal should not come as much of a surprise, as the U.K. managing director of UMPG, Mike McCormack, was the person who first signed Williams back in the beginning of the 1990s. The signing was made when Williams was part of the pop group Take That. McCormack, who at the time was working for Virgin Music, says of Williams: “Even then, he was a huge personality and a pleasure to work with. He’s gone on to become a global superstar and an incredible songwriter — so it’s a privilege to represent all these great songs and the new material he will be writing in the future.”
Robbie Williams remained with Take That until 1995, releasing 3 albums with the group while having a number of hit songs, such as “Back for Good” and “Never Forget.”
In 1997, he started his solo career. Then, 20 years later, he surpassed the record for the most No. 1 albums in the U.K. by a British solo act. This came after he was inducted in the U.K. Music Hall of Fame back in 2004.
Recent achievements include appearing as a judge for the 15th season of the U.K. edition of X Factor and performing last year at the FIFA World Cup opening ceremony in Russia.
All together, Williams has won 18 Brit Awards, 5 Ivor Novello Awards and a pair of MTV Video Music Awards.
