Kim Kardashian took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a little snapshot into the lives the Wests. The reality star posted a photo taken her big family from above, as they all gather around the table to dig into a breakfast feast. Kim captioned the photo herself, Kanye, and their four kids North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm, “Morning Madness.”
The photo does indeed show a bit morning madness taking place. While Kim and Kanye are dealing with Saint, North clutches two their Pomeranian puppies. Meanwhile, Chicago appears to be getting restless as she waits for her breakfast. As relative chaos ensues, the youngest the clan, 8-month-old Psalm, is straight chillin’ in his carrier right in the middle the table amongst the fruit and granola.
It’s not uncommon for Kim to share family photos the Wests, and one in particular sparked discussion this past holiday season. 2019 was the first year that Kim and Kanye decided to distance themselves from the Kardashian-Jenner Christmas card and instead send out their own cards, but one their kids did not initially make the cut. After Kim shared the photo from the ficial “West Family Christmas Card 2019,” many took notice how bizarre North appeared, speculating that she might have been photoshopped into the picture. Kim confirmed these suspicions, revealing that, “North was having a day, she refused to be in the shoot. She was crying because she wanted her specific hairstyle, whatever, so I said ‘fine you’re not going to be in the card.'” Of course, she was ultimately edited into the final product. “The next day she woke up and was like ‘mommy, I really want to do a card.’ She said ‘I just want a photo shoot with just you.'”
While Safaree Samuels and Erica Mena may have said “I do,” the Internet highkey said “we don’t.” Plenty viewers were critical their union, pointing out how performative and fake their marriage looks considering how unhappy they’ve appeared to be together thus far.
The lack substance in their relationship have many feeling that the marriage is doomed and won’t last long.
Still, some were moved by the ceremony and got emotional, expressing nothing but well wishes for the couple.
Unfortunately this time around, Royalty’s favourite hit isn’t one from her father’s never-ending catalogue but instead a tune by MattyBRaps called “Little Bit.” In the clip below, you can see Royalty smiling wide as she sings to her cue in the song about not even liking someone just “a little bit.”
More recently Chris shared an update his daughter that showcased her drawing skills, something else the eight-year-old pulled from her father, considering Chris’ past expressions with art himself. “Chris is the proudest dad you’ve ever seen, he loves to talk about his kids. He still gets so emotional talking about his son being born. He was there in the delivery room which was a first for him and he was blown away by that,” a source stated.
In one post, Sophie shows f her citrine necklace as she thanks the company that created it for her. In another photo, she poses and shows f her “Xena vibes” as the sun sets behind her. Over on her Instagram Story, Sophie’s Turks and Caicos rest and relaxation time is completed with a selfie taken on a cliff oceanside.
She’s also seen in her bathroom, again in her bikini, posing in the mirror. She wrote over the clip that she’s “Happy, but I miss the gym.” The former adult movie star-turned pressional artist seems to be enjoying her short break from mommy duties, so check out a few snaps Sophie’s Turks and Caicos island vacation below.

Fresh off a recent , along with other altercations, rapper DaBaby has been caught on video assaulting a hotel worker.
The video in question, according to TMZ, comes from the security camera of the Beverly Hills hotel where DaBaby had been staying on December 19, and it happened the day after the rapper performed at the Shrine.
The website is alleging that the hotel worker DaBaby assaulted had been following him and his entourage outside the building’s lobby while asking the rapper for a photograph.
Apparently, the worker would not take no for an answer. So, when they all entered the lobby, DaBaby slammed the man against a wall while roughing him up a little.
The incident seems to have gone no further than this.
TMZ says that the rapper and his entourage soon left the hotel, and the police were not notified.
Michael Heiskel, who is the rapper’s lawyer, issued a statement about the incident. He said, “Any actions taken by DaBaby were likely in self defense based upon his recall of the events and until the video is thoroughly reviewed we have no further comment at this time.”
This is not the first time that the rapper has allegedly assaulted someone who asked for a picture of him. Reportedly, both DaBaby and members of his entourage beat up someone last year outside a concert venue in Massachusetts who had also been asking him for a picture.
It has been reported as well that the rapper assaulted one of his fans last year outside a Louis Vuitton store in North Carolina for heckling him.
In DaBaby’s arrest earlier this month, police in Miami took him into custody because of an outstanding battery charge in Texas. Though they had originally detained him in order to ask him questions about an unrelated robbery.
Police in Charlotte, North Carolina further handcuffed the rapper on Christmas Eve before citing him for marijuana possession.
If you remember that viral video Mariah and her “moments,” the video above is basically that but with MC constantly reminding us she’s, in fact, a songwriter. From her early cute & curly days “as a songwriter” on albums like Daydream, Emotions and the self-titled debut LP, to interviews on The View and CNN during the latter part her 30-year career, Mariah just couldn’t stop reminding us that her pen game is stronger than her signature whistle register. While the hairstyles might change throughout the two-and-a-half-minute mashup video, the message is always the same: Mariah Carey is, was and always will be…a singer/songwriter. Heard you!
Congrats again to MiMi on her induction into the Songwriters Hall Fame! Peep the aforementioned “Mariah moments” below for even more Carey comedy:
Miley Cyrus has been baring it all for the cameras these days, and her boyfriend, Cody Simpson, is never far behind to capture it all on Instagram. The couple just recently hit the gym together on Wednesday, which Miley documented on her Instagram story by posting a video Cody working out a little harder than her.
Keyshia, who runs her own fitness company, KA’OIR Fitness, shared a before and after post her husband, showing the incredible progress he’s made on his fitness journey. “Don’t play with us !!!” she captioned the post, before plugging her company and insisting that it’s “out here changing lives🦾.” Gucci commented on the post, sharing that, “My wife is my greatest weapon 🏹.” It’s nice to see spouses be so mutually supportive each other, and Gucci’s hard work and dedication to getting fit has certainly paid f.

The rapper, also known as Bill K. Kapri, is opening up about his “cruel and unethical” experience in prison, where he is serving a 46-month sentence on weapons charges. In a note posted to Instagram on Thursday, he claims there is a “big conspiracy” against him by two of the officials inside Miami’s Federal Detention Center, who are “strategically killing me slowly.”
According to Kodak, Lieutenant F. Arroyo and Santiago Torres have been “very vindictive” towards him and are falsifying incident reports, taking away visitation rights, and interfering with his mail.
“There is a big conspiracy going on in this building on Me. Santiago Torres is using her position wrongfully in Miami FDC and is abusing her authority,” writes Kodak. “She has been writing falsified incident reports on me, to take phone privileges that I get once a week while in solitary.”
He claims Torres is “abusing her authority” and threatened to take his girlfriend off his visitation list. “For no other reason but to add insult to my distress,” explains Kodak. “Not being able to see my significant other while locked away in this hell hole.”
He also claims that he was denied a visit with his mother two days before Christmas and that his mail is taking a month to receive and outgoing mail is being tampered with. “My family hasn’t received none of my letters for the holidays. Which is borderline cruel and unethical,” he adds.
Additionally, Kodak says he was given an empty tray for breakfast on New Year’s Eve. “I brought it to their attention, but nothing was done for me. Since the camera shows them entering a tray through my flap, but meanwhile there is nothing in my tray when i. opened it.”
Kodak complains that the treatment towards him and other inmates is inhumane. “They are strategically killing me slowly in here. I have been humiliated over and over again,” he says. “I am highly disappointed in the way they have treated not only me, but all the other inmates in this facility. With their self serving agenda they will always side with their fellow officers whether right or wrong.”
He also details his fellow inmate Pete’s experience that ended in death. “Pete’s health condition reached a very advanced Stage while he was in excruciating pain!” he says. “So, Pete requested medical attention (like myself) which was denied ( like myself) because he felt like he was dying ( like myself ).”
Pete eventually took his own life. “It’s sad because everyone was aware of his health issues and one C O could have found it in the kindness of the heart to do their jobs and simply call medical, his family wouldn’t be mourning his loss as of now,” adds Kodak, who offered his condolences and money to Pete’s family. “I tried to do this sooner but they are not sending my mail out.”
Kodak remains in federal custody after being sentenced to 46 months on weapons charges. In November, he was hit with two additional gun charges for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and faces up to 30 years in prison on each count.
If you’re a fan Kodak Black, this is going to be very difficult to read. Upon first glance, supporters the Florida rapper were excited to see him update his social media today but, diving deeper, his captions left us all scared for his safety and well-being while in prison. Kodak Black, real name Bill K. Kapri, will be spending the next few years behind bars but he’s unimpressed with the way he has been treated, issuing a public statement about how disgusting and inhumane things have been.
“One morning, she pulled me out my cell to tell me she is going to ‘Take my pretty little girlfriend f my visitation list’. For no other reason but to add insult to my distress. Not being able to see my significant other while locked away in this hell hole,” wrote Kodak before things got even worse. “Also, I was denied visit with my mother on December 23, two days before Christmas. Not only does my incoming mail take an average a month To get to me but they are messing with my outgoing mail as well. My family hasn’t received none my letters for the holidays. Which is borderline cruel and unethical, but as if all this is not enough, on December 31 New Year’s Eve to be exact, I was handed an empty tray for breakfast. I brought it to their attention, but nothing was done for me. Since the camera shows them entering a tray through my flap, but meanwhile there is nothing in my tray when i opened it.”
That wasn’t all Kodak had to say. He legitimately believes that he’s going to die in prison, comparing his situation to another inmate who was refused medical treatment for a serious condition, like himself. “They are strategically killing me slowly in here. I have been humiliated over and over again,” he wrote.
Read his full message in the posts below and pray for Kodak Black.
Miley appears topless in the next story, a video her looking irritated and turning away from Cody while he films her. Miley explains her unimpressed expression in the caption the video. “When baby f*cks up but wants you to listen to his song … Peep the plugs,” she wrote, referring to the barely noticeable AirPods in her ears she’s using to drown out Cody’s song. We can assume it was all in good fun, since the pair have been going strong since day one despite multiple breakup rumours. While Miley dealt with finalizing her divorce from Liam Hemsworth, Cody was by her side, and he even spent Christmas with Miley’s family.
While Apryl and Lil Fizz have decided to stay mute on any new updates surrounding their relationship, Lil Fizz’s ex Moniece Slaughter has decided to share some tea on the matter. “They’re still very much together. Still living together, and she has not lost custody” her kids, Moniece explained. “The pictures she’s been posting her and her daughter with the stripper pole in the background are in Dreux’s house. The video her sleep on the floor Christmas Day and toasting with her friends was at Dreux’s house as well.”
Apparently the silence from the couple is because Apryl and Omarion are dealing with custody issues and one the stipulations is that Omarion doesn’t want Lil Fizz in his children’s life as much as he is. “She’s in and out court with Omari,” she added. “They unfollowed each other to get the public f their asses. But they still going strong. Kam Facetimed him for bed two Mondays ago, and she was in the background. He made sure to put her in the frame.”
Atlanta, GA – The opening sequence to Roddy Ricch‘s Billboard No. 1 hit single “The Box” off Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial is broad and magnificent. Seconds into the production’s opulence, the track is pleasantly cut by what sounds like a squeaky windshield wiper on a rainy day. That catchy, squeaky sound capturing the hearts of so many across social media has become one of the most significant elements of the song.
But what is it, really?
To find out, HipHopDX spoke with the song’s producer, 30 Roc, who is known for his production on tracks such as Yo Gotti’s “Rake It Up” and Travis Scott’s “STARGAZING,” the hitmaker explained to us over the phone that the sound is actually the Grammy Award-nominated artist himself and not part of the beat.
“Anybody who listens to music knows it’s his voice,” 30 Roc said. “That’s not possible. It’s possible for me to do that, but if I was to put that in the beat without him laying the vocals, I felt like it would throw the beat off. I’m happy that he actually did that instead of us actually adding a chant before the vocals…It’s so crazy to me. I have real producers that be asking me, ‘is this a part of your beat?’ And I’m like, dude, you can tell this is Roddy’s voice. If you really listen to it, it’s definitely Roddy’s voice.”
Fifteen minutes is how long it took for “The Box” to be created — minus Roddy’s “EEE-ERR” ad-lib — and it was sent to the Compton native’s team in November, a whole month before Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial was slated for release as a last-minute addition in less than 24 hours.
“It started in L.A.,” 30 Roc recalled. “We went to L.A. a couple of weeks before we sent that beat. We actually went and then that’s when we found out that we had another song with him and a Fabolous called ‘Time.’ We found that out and then from there he was like, ‘Alright, cool we’re going to send some more beats, go home and get some work done…Keefa [who did the A&R for Roddy Ricch’s album] was like, ‘He in the studio right now for another month.’ We just so happen to make that beat in one night and we sent the beat over. The next day, Keefa texted me, he was like, ‘He bodied this. Bruh, it’s a hit.’ He texted me to put it in the coffin. I put it to the side and shit, ‘The Box’ is ‘The Box.’”
According to Roc, the night he and his producer Squeeze made the beat, they were just trying to churn it out and get it done. It was important for him to create something that would challenge Roddy as an artist.
“I just was going through stuff and I had chose the orchestra in the background,” he remembered. “It’s not a sample. Everybody keep asking me. Everybody keep thinking it’s the sample from Justin Timberlake. No. It’s a sound out of a VST. I added the bell part behind it, Squeeze came in and he did the open high hat and I did the 808. It ain’t a lot of sounds in that beat. We kind of just wanted to keep it simple. Right now we just doing a lot of simple things.”
As the song grew into popularity, naturally, memes have came along with it. Out of all of them, the Sponge Bob meme with Squidward is both of their favorite.
“It matches it completely,” he elated. “Just like, ‘Oh damn, what are you guys doing in the box?” and then they closed the box…that was the actual perfect one. I do like the other ones like the nigga with the Windex.”
As “The Box” memes went crazy online, the tension was building up in a Billboard Hot 100 battle to No. 1 between Roddy Ricch’s “The Box” and Justin Bieber’s first solo single in five years, “Yummy.” On January 13, “The Box” landed at the coveted No. 1 spot despite Bieber’s efforts to get his fans to help push the song to the top and Roddy’s encouragement for everyone to stream the song as well. In the U.S., “The Box” amassed 68.2 million streams according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data, sitting among the likes of Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You” and Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road.”
Roddy ultimately landed at No. 1, prompting Justin to send out a congratulatory tweet.
“You had to go and make a banger smh!,” JB tweeted. “Haha ur the man!! Love the song!! congrats on your first #1!!”
Finding out a song they produced beat out a mega pop star like Bieber was a crazy moment for them and noted that the team is all down for working with him in the future if JB wants a hit too.
“Come and get you one! It was pretty dope though. I didn’t think we was going to be battling Justin Bieber,” Roc said. “I was thinking battle Post Malone…just looking at the charts and what was going on. It’s pretty interesting. It’s a dope moment. What’s really dope about the whole song is it did everything on his own and it’s no video. Normally the artist drops a video and there’s no video out yet. That’s how you know people legit fucking with it.”
30’s 2020 is already starting off right and he and Squeeze reveal that they currently working with A$AP Rocky, Youngboy Never Broke Again and NLE Choppa, among others.
“In 2020, we are trying to be a little bit more visual. We want to be out there a little bit more,” 30 Roc said. “For the last couple of years for me, it was more of just getting the placements and getting the name at least somewhere, but I feel like a lot of people don’t know me like that. I’m going to show my face a little bit more, show the team a little bit more. We just try to get shit done. We just got one mission, which is just get the job done. Shit, we just trying to take over.”
“2020, major foot on necks all year,” Squeeze, the song’s co-producer added.
Of course, the calls enlisting 30 and Squeeze have been pouring for their hitmaking services.
“The calls definitely started pouring in yesterday after that number one,” Roc confirmed.
