Swizz has mentioned his firstborn son’s upcoming album Beach Bum Limbo on his Instagram before and we assume the whole look was a creative expression for his music moniker. “The origin my stage name stems from my self-development and self-discovery. Marcato is a musical instruction indicating a note, chord or passage to be played louder than the surrounding music.  That’s what I feel my music represents,” he previously told FRNDY LMRN in 2018. “My sound fits in the Hip-Hop, Musical Theater, and Pop genres the best.”

Though their reputation might not suggest it, Dreamville can flex with the best them. Lest we forget that time EarthGang convinced J. Cole to join them for a debaucherous evening at the strip club, making it rain torrential downpours in the process. Since then, they’ve only become bolder in their flexing efforts, as evidenced by the squad’s latest appearance at the 2020 Grammy Awards.

So in honor you big brother I’ll be putting that work in everyday to get back to @thebig3 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿 Thank you Baby Doll @getuptoparr for getting me to the gym. Justin Timberlake Shares Heartfelt Tribute To Kobe Bryant: “My Heart Is Broken”

Justin Timberlake is paying tribute to Kobe Bryant after the basketball legend died in a California helicopter crash on Sunday. In a heartfelt post shared on Instagram, Timberlake reflected on the impact Bryant and his “mentality” have had on his own life and his career.

Timberlake shared several photographs the two them over the years at different events, including during a Lakers game.

“We met when we were both teenagers and bonded over our drive and process. I was in awe what you could do with a basketball and knew your talent went beyond your physical gifts and stretched to your mentality. A mentality that I would take with me throughout my whole career and still use every day,” the message began with.

It continued, “As the years went by, I watched you do things that seemed humanly unimaginable. And, through ups and downs, championships and injuries, you still remained with an unwavering resolve about your mentality to remain fierce to competition. But, every time we would speak, something started to change… your patience and ease grew. And it inspired me to continue to grow for myself. Years passed, and the “old man” jokes would start to be traded back and forth. We both appreciated a good “ribbing.” We joked about “The Vino Club.” You nicknamed yourself ‘Vino’ to represent how one could age gracefully as a fine wine does.”

Later in the post, Timberlake went on to send his “love to Vanessa and your family and to the families everyone connected in the mourning this terrible tragedy,” adding that his “heart is broken and my family lifts you up in our thoughts and prayers.”

Iverson’s post contains one his favorite Kobe stories, which took place during their rookie season in 1996.

“It’s one memory him that I can’t stop thinking about. It was our rookie season and my first trip to LA for a game against the Lakers. He came to my hotel, picked me up and took me to a restaurant. When we returned before he left, he asked me, “What are you going to do tonight?” My reply was, “I’m going to the club, what are you going to do?” He said, “I’m going to the gym.”

That is who he always was, a true student the game basketball and also the game life. He prepared relentlessly. There is something we can all learn from the “Mamba” mentality and from the way my brother lived his life. He will always have my respect as a competitor, as a friend, as a brother.”
