It’s not all sad news for Air Jordan 12 fans however, as Jordan Brand has a number dope colorways in the works including the highly anticipated “Reverse Taxi” iteration that is scheduled to launch on Halloween, as well as the “Dark Grey” version on tap for December.

On top that, it is believed that a black and gold colorway, similar to Gary Payton’s Air Jordan 12 PE, is in the works for 2020. We’ll take that with a grain salt however, until Jordan Brand makes an ficial announcement.

The 61-year-old bides his pressional time as a star on Law & Order: SVU and by continuing to work on his music career. The Body Count frontman is readying the release  Carnivore, his rock metal group’s forthcoming album, and in a chat with HipHopDX, Ice-T shared insight into why he’s been able to last in the industry for decades. While other artists continuously crank out music, hoping to catch up with the younger generation and create a hit that will land them back in heavy radio rotation, Ice-T claims he recognizes his place in the game and isn’t trying to be something he’s not.

“I got the new Body Count album. We’re starting to mix it now. So, there was a lot requests like, ‘Do some rap sh*t’ and I truly wasn’t motivated,” the rapper shared. “I know the new sound is different. One the reasons I’m still around is because I’m not delusional; I know that rap radio isn’t going to play anything from me in rotation. It’s just not going to happen. I had my day and they’re not playing anybody new. They wouldn’t play the best Ghostface Killah record. They won’t play Big Daddy Kane. They won’t play Public Enemy. They’re not going to put us in rotation ever again.

He added, “We might get on the mix shows; we’d get on that type stuff, but you’re not going to have that hit record that you might’ve had in the past. So, I wasn’t really motivated. I was like, ‘Eh, nah.'” Do you agree that the older generation’s time is up?

Machine Gun Kelly’s Rolling Loud: Dave East Meetings & Death Defying Stunts

Despite an outcry from his most vocal detractors, few can deny that Machine Gun Kelly is thriving. Coming f the release his recent Hotel Diablo album, which spawned a series high-octane tour dates with friend and collaborator Young Thug, MGK recently held it down with an insane set at Rolling Loud New York. In fact, insane is a rather mild way putting it; video footage the man scaling a metal tower sans wire had many wondering whether this was the day his journey came to an end. And yet the Gunner proved them wrong yet again, returning to solid ground in one piece.

Though he’s hardly the first artist to brave such daring heights, he made sure to one-up the competition by performing from the tower’s apex. Naturally, the fans watched with rapturous glee. Death himself, on the other hand, felt personally insulted by the blatant mockery. Unfazed, Kelly spent the remainder his time at the festival connecting with his fellow artist. Most notably, Gunner linked with local hero Dave East, as evidenced by the latter’s recent Gram post. From the look it, they seem to be exchanging information, possibly even LinkedIn priles.

Love him or hate him, you can’t deny that Machine Gun Kelly has been killing the game late. Not to mention, his athletic ability and daredevil’s courage appear in peak form – where do you rank him among the game’s great climbers?

FDA Now Warns Public To Not Use Vape Pens Containing THC

The conversation on vaping products has been going on for some time and deaths related to vaping have now hit 17 in America. “No one can say long-term use vaping — where you’re inhaling steam and chemicals deep into your lungs — is healthy,” ” Gov. Andrew M. Cuomoy statedThe U.S. Food & Drug Administration has now released a report advising individuals to stay away from vapes, “particularly those containing THC—obtained f the street or from other illicit or social sources.”

The issue at hand, as stated in the report, is that vaping products have not been approved by the FDA and users who add THC oil to vaping pens or buy them from unauthorized sellers are putting their health at risk. “If you choose to use these products, monitor yourself for symptoms (e.g., cough, shortness breath, chest pain) and promptly seek medical attention if you have concerns about your health,” the FDA suggests.

We previously posted on the study that revealed how vape pens release lead and toxic metals when being inhaled. “It’s important for the FDA, the e-cigarette companies, and vapers themselves to know that these heating coils, as currently made, seem to be leaking toxic metals—which then get into the aerosols that vapers inhale,” the study revealed.

R.I.P. Ginger Baker: Famous Cream Drummer Dies at 80

On October 6th, Ginger Baker, who was one of the first superstar rock drummers, died at the age of 80 in England.

Both Baker’s Twitter and Facebook pages confirmed the news, with his family stating that the drummer had passed away that morning in a hospital. They also thanked everyone for all the “kind words” said about him in the past few weeks.

On September 25th, Baker’s family announced, also through Facebook, that the drummer was seriously ill and asked fans to keep him in their prayers. For many years, he had suffered from poor health as well as substance abuse.

Born Peter Edward Baker in 1939, ‘Ginger’ got his nickname because of his red hair. Through a career that lasted more than 60 years, he played within a wide variety of musical genres, which included not only many forms of rock but also jazz and blues. He was known for his flamboyant and powerful performances and his hot temper.

He shot to fame in 1966 as a member of Cream, along with guitarist Eric Clapton and bassist Jack Bruce, which many consider rock’s first supergroup.

On the band’s debut album, Baker performed one of the most celebrated drum solos in rock on a song called “Toad.” It was one of the first of its kind.

Another innovation Baker is credited with is the use of a pair of bass drums, which were a trademark of his hard-driving drumming style. Heavy metal, thrash, speed metal, and death metal drummers have been using the concept religiously (or, sacrilegiously) for decades.

After Cream broke up, Ginger and Clapton went on to form Blind Faith with singer Steve Winwood. After that group broke up as well, Baker performed in a pair of his own bands: Baker Gurvitz Army and Ginger Baker’s Air Force. He also collaborated with a large number of prominent artists over the years.

However, Baker’s long-standing addiction to heroin limited his opportunities. He was also notoriously difficult to work with, which was chronicled in a 2012 documentary called “Beware of Mr. Baker”.   The title came from a sign once posted on his property.

Kash Doll Struts In Pink Bodysuit With Plunging Neckline For BET Hip Hop Awards

People brought their fashion A-game to the BET Hip Hop Awards last night. Lil Baby and his girlfriend, Jayda Cheaves, are definitely among this group. They were feeling themselves so much that they even shared a rare series photos displaying their drip. Lil Kim – who was this year’s recipient the “I Am Hip Hop” lifetime achievement award – wowed the Internet with her metallic pink Gucci gown. Not to be forgotten in the evening’s best dressed highlight reel is Kash Doll.

Kash Doll knew how fire her fit was because she posted a video her confidently strutting in it, referring to herself as “BB (Boss b*tch).” The fit consisted a pink velour body suit with a plunging neckline. As if that wasn’t enough pink, the Detroit rapper took it to the next level with pink furry pos on her arms, a pink purse, pink heels and pink toenails. In her Instagram caption, she also shared that the outfit was inspired by The Powerpuff Girls (likely Blossom considering all the pink).

Kash Doll also proved her BB status this week by dropping a new single, “Mobb’n.” The ferocious song will be featured on her project, Stacked, which comes out on October 17.

Lil Baby & His Girlfriend, Jayda Cheaves, Pull Up To The BET Hip Hop Awards Dripping

Last night was the BET Hip Hop Awards and, while the ceremony will only air on Tuesday, we got a peak on social media some the attendees’ looks. Lil Kim notably slayed the red carpet, rocking a metallic pink Gucci blazer. Gunna pulled up in Chanel suspenders, holding a puppy. While these were all winning outfits, the couple that stole the show was Lil Baby and his girlfriend, Jayda Cheaves.

While they rarely post photos together on Instagram, Lil Baby shared a little photoshoot that they took after the award show. The three photos show them posing in front a white Rolls Royce at a gas station. The first is a serious picture to display their outfits. The hottest item has to be Cheaves’ deconstructed Dior pants. Lil Baby also pulled f his all-black fit, including leather pants and fur-collared vest. Swiping right to the second photo the series is rather shocking, as Cheaves is suddenly found bent over in front her man.

Lil Baby and Cheaves have been quietly dating for a while now. Last November, the “Yes Indeed” rapper shared a photo them together with the caption, “Keep Our Business To Ourselves.” In February, they welcomed their first child – a son named Loyal Armani
