John Elliott x Nike LeBron Icon Releasing Again

LeBron James recently teamed up with menswear designer John Elliott for a run special edition Nike sneakers dubbed the “Icon,” as well as a collaborative collection apparel. The sneakers released in limited numbers earlier this month but, according to Sneaker News, they will be back in stock on September 1 – hopefully in the United States, in addition to the European release.

The Icon features a stretch-woven, semi-translucent upper that is accompanied by an eye-catching pattern throughout, and grounded by a full-length Air Max unit as seen on the Nike LeBron 8. Additional details include a small Nike swoosh on the toe box, sideways Nike logo on the tongue and a LeBron James x John Elliott logo stamped on the insole.

It’s unclear how many different colorways are in the works, but we do know that this white/black version the John Elliott x Nike LeBron Icon is slated to launch once again next Saturday, 9/1 for the retail price $250. Stay tuned for a list retailers that will have the kicks in stock for the second drop.

John Elliott x Nike LeBron Icon Surfaces In "Friends & Family" Colorway

This past weekend Nike released the limited edition John Elliott x LeBron Icon Collection, featuring a brand new sneaker silhouette that pulls on inspiration from the Nike LeBron 8 as well as a line apparel. The kicks debuted in a classic white/black colorway, but there’s also a much more exclusive pair that comes dressed in shades grey.

The “Friends & Family” version the John Elliott x LeBron Icon comes housed in a special edition box but the sneaker itself features all the same attributes as the pair that hit retailers, including a translucent toe box, stretch-woven upper and a full-length Air Max unit as previously seen on the Nike LeBron 8.

Unfortunately, according to DJ Clark Kent, the grey version the John Elliott x Nike LeBron Icon is limited to just 50 pairs. Nike has not yet announced any plans to release the John Elliott x LeBron Icon in any additional colorways.
