She added: “I do address a lot those issues. But you know, no, I’m not an alcoholic. No, I’m not a sex addict. I was with the same person Stephen] for 10 years and that was quite a turmoil, very intense. That’s all I can say about it. I’d like to say a lot more, but let’s just keep it PC. But yeah, I address a lot those issues and I did kind have to ease my pain. And I do suffer a lot from PTSD.”

Idris Elba To Star In "Ghetto Cowboy" Playing Estranged Dad To His Displaced Teen

Idris Elba has signed on to star in the upcoming novel-turned-movie, Ghetto Cowboy. The Luther actor will produce under his Green Door Pictures banner as well as star as the father 15-year-old Cole who is forced to live with his dad in North Philadelphia. Netflix dropped a new trailer for the film, and the plot looks like something Lathan will mold with very well. Her ability to capture emotions with just a simple glance or movement will be needed to bring a drama about hair to life. 

In the trailer, we get to see Lathan struggling with her beautiful ethnic hair from the beginning. All her life she used expensive methods to keep her hair straight, but when her man doesn’t propose to her after she expected a ring, she loses her grip. Feeling as if her “perfect hair” isn’t enough anymore, Lathan switches it up. First, she cuts it to shoulder length and dyes it blonde, but after another breakdown, she shaves it all f. Her man leaves her and things seem gloomy until Lathan decides to own her new look and take on the world. "Altered Carbon" Renewed For Second Season, Anthony Mackie Set To Star In Lead Role

Netflix’s Altered Carbon enjoyed a successful first season when it dropped earlier this year. The series is based on a book the same name, which follows Takeshi Kovacs as he investigates the murder a wealthy man. Altered Carbon is set in the future, and humans have found a way to engineer alien technology to essentially live forever. Humans can download their memories onto a drive and transfer them into different bodies. Still, only the most wealthy people can afford to stock up clones and transferable bodies, while also storing all their memories safely in satellites so no one can destroy them. 

Takeshi Kovac is awoken after being imprisoned for hundreds years. He was part a rebellion that sought to stop the future that has come to past. A wealthy man who is looking for his murderer (or the person that killed his last host body), revives Kovac and fers him a shot at a second life if he can track down the killer. In the first season, Kovac was played by Joel Kinnaman. According to Yahoo Entertainment, Anthony Mackie is set to replace Kinnaman for the second season. Altered Carbon takes place over several hundred years, and since humans can switch bodies, there is no need for Kovac’s character to be portrayed by the same actor. 

"Hunter Killer" Trailer Shows Common's Mission To Save Russian President

Common has been building his acting resume quietly for the last few years. The rapper turned actor starred in several high prile roles throughout the mid 00’s before taking a smaller approach to films. He’s played a pivotal role in John Wick 2 and has been featured on The Chi. Now, Common is stepping back into the spotlight as one the main stars in the upcoming film Hunter Killer. 

Adapted from the 2012 novel Firing Point by Don Keith & George Wallace, Hunter Killer follows a team Navy SEALs that must venture into enemy waters to rescue the Russian president. Of course, the team is met with twists and must trust an unlikely ally to get the job done. A new trailer for the film was recently released, and it appears to be an action-packed thriller. Hunter Killer stars Common, Gerard Butler, Gary Oldman, Toby Stephens, and Linda Cardellini. With the current political climate between America and Russia reaching critical levels, it will be interesting to see how well Hunter Killer does at the box fice. The ensemble cast will likely draw a decent crowd. Hunter Killer is directed by Donovan Marsh and produced by Neal Moritz. It is set to hit theaters on October 26.

"IT: Chapter 2" Begins Production, Adult Cast Unites In First Photo

Stephen King’s timeless horror story IT will be making its way back into theaters next year. Last year, the film was rebooted, like almost everything is these days. The remake was a smash hit, it made $700.4 million at the box fice. In the original book, Pennywise the clown comes back to haunt the kids again as adults. After reuniting and agreeing to return to their hometown to face the interdimensional shape-shifting alien, the kids  IT are met with new horrors. The film, which focused on the main cast as children, will take a jump into the future as well, and the children  IT will be revisited as adults. Production for the sequel has started, and the cast united for a group picture to promote the new flick.

The adult cast includes Jessica Chastain as Beverly, James McAvoy as Bill, Isaiah Mustafa as Mike, Jay Ryan as Ben, James Ransone as Eddie, Bill Hader as Richie, and Andy Bean as Stanley. Chastain and McAvoy are top-billed on the project, but don’t sleep on Isaiah Mustafa or Jay Ryan. The childhood members the original Losers Club will also be in the film. Bill Skarsgård will be reprising his roll as Pennywise. Andy Muschietti and Gary Dauberman return to direct and pen the screenplay, respectively. IT: Chapter Two hits theaters on September 6, 2019.
