YG's "STAY DANGEROUS" Album: The Hardest Bars

YG is his most dangerous self when the beat is slowed to his preferred signature. For every wiseguy that laments repetition in hip hop, there’s a select few that understand how a beat pad can anchor a record from start to finish. Reputation is everywhere in hip hop production, but would you tolerate the same complacency or dullness from the lyricist’s lounge, perhaps not.

STAY DANGEROUS is a well defined example the distinction between simplicity and complacency. YG has tricks in the stash, some don’t leap f the page, but neither did Doggystyle before the transcripts were set to music. What YG lacks in visual description he sure compensates with charisma. There are none-the-less moments brevity on STAY DANGEROUS that stop you right in your tracks.

In the realm curious delay, YG still exudes an array authentic leadership. Look at the way he handled the Madden 19 debacle in one concise pronouncement, culminating in the CEO EA Sports begging for pardon. If it weren’t YG’s conspicuous lyrical agenda, he wouldn’t demand such courtesy at the drop a hat.

The Game: Tekashi 6ix9ine Is "Turning Red Rags Into Disneyland Tickets"

The Game has made a conspicuous example Tekashi 6ix9ine by pointing out an obvious discrepancy in his “branding.” On Instagram this morning, The Game posted a picture so-called Piru affiliate lounging on a blue bandana bedspread, widely know as the color code the rival Crips Gang. The Game has spent the better part a decade chronicling day-to-day gang activities his dearly beloved Cedar Block Piru Gang, loyal to the west side Compton. What bothered him in particular was Tekashi’s destructive use “Gang Culture” for commercial ends, at least as he sees fit.

The Game took a moment to explain his anger with a lengthy caption. He described the red flag as more than a color, but also a “way life” and something that has nearly cost him his life on countless occasions. He then refers to Tekashi by his given name Daniel, demystifying the aura invincibility he has worked so hard to create. The Game quick retort comes in response Tekashi reposting a video The Game appearing on a dating show before he was famous, referring to him as a “fake blood.”
