The text messages from the deceased man’s phone revealed that Shannade agreed to have a date with the man for $400. However, it isn’t clear whether she knew the man was dead before allegedly lifting his debit card.
Officials claim Shannade used the dead man’s card to pay her rent, phone bills, cop plane tickets and online purchases “ thousands dollars clothing and other merchandise.”
On Clermont’s charges, U.S. Attorney Gefrey Berman said, “As alleged, Shannade Clermont, a former cast member the “Bad Girls Club,” lived up to her reality series reputation.” He added, “Clermont’s new reality is federal prosecution for her alleged nefarious conduct.”
