As we reported a little while ago, Optimum, which is owned by Altice USA, has dropped Starz as one the premium networks that is fered as part their package deals. Despite this, Power was one the highest-rated shows on cable last year, trailing only HBO juggernaut Game Thrones in terms sheer numbers. Because this, fans Fif’s series like Tyler Perry want fans and subscribers to help keep Starz in the rotation.

In a video clip that 50 shared on his Instagram prile, the man behind Madea delivered a PSA sorts to the camera, beginning by stating that he “can’t believe” that Optimum dropped Starz unceremoniously like that. The actor/director urges fans the network and, more importantly, 50 Cent’s series, to go online or contact the provider by phone and let their voices be heard.

Fif definitely appreciated the shout-out, captioning the video by saying: “My boy @TylerPerry said it all for me. Optimum is bugging out taking POWER f.” With at least one other big name publicly denouncing the decision by Optimum, there’s more hope that the provider will soon reverse Starz’s exit from their list channel options.
