BAPE x Paris Saint-Germain Capsule Collection Unveiled

Jordan Brand ficially announced their three year partnership with French pressional soccer club Paris Saint-Germain today, which will include a collection over 90 performance, training and lifestyle products. Among those products is a special edition Air Jordan 1, as well as a similarly styled Air Jordan 5 that will release on September 14 Nike SNKRS app.

Additionally, Jordan Brand has unveiled an exclusive “Friends & Family” colorway the Air Jordan 5 PSG. Like the black Air Jordan 5 PSG that is releasing tomorrow, the white rendition features “75” branding in place the “23,” PSG’s logo on the heel, and “PARIS” text on the mesh with a Jumpman logo in place the “A.”

Of course, this “Friends & Family” pair will only be available to the likes Neymar Jr., Mbappe, LeBron James and other friends the program.

By the end the 2018-2019 season, the Jordan x PSG collection will include over 90 items from performance, training and lifestyle. Jordan Brand has a special edition collection in the works with Paris Saint-Germain, which will include a range apparel, including the basketball jersey that Travis Scott recently rocked on stage, as well as an exclusive Air Jordan 5 that was ficially introduced today.

The “PSG” 5s are built on a stealthy, all-black suede upper reminiscent  the club’s alternate kit as well as the team’s logo on the heel both shoes. Additionally, the newly unveiled sneakers have “75” embroidered near the heel in place the familiar 23, and a graphic underneath the mesh paneling, which reads “Paris” with a Jumpman in place the “A.” The 75 is reportedly a reference to zip codes used throughout the city Paris.

Additionally, the collection includes a coaches jacket, pants, logo tee and hats.

Nike is the longtime sponsor Paris Saint-Germain so it’s not a total surprise that they’ve produced a special PE, especially since they recently captured France’s Ligue 1 title for the fifth time in the last six seasons.

Travis Scott Reveals Paris Saint-Germain x Jordan Basketball Jersey

Paris Saint-Germain and Jordan Brand have a collaborative collection in the works, and who better to introduce some the gear than Travis Scott, who has already ushered in multiple Nike and Air Jordan sneaker collabs this year.

La Flame took the stage at Cabaret Vert Festival in France last night wearing a PSG x Air Jordan basketball jersey, adding to the list items that are expected to release in the near future. Last month, Justin Timberlake also took the stage in Paris wearing a special edition PSG x Jordan jacket. In addition to the apparel, a couple PSG Air Jordan sneakers have also leaked in recent weeks, including an Air Jordan 1 and an Air Jordan 5.

Nike is the longtime sponsor Paris Saint-Germain so it’s not a total surprise that they’ve created a co-branded collection sneakers and apparel, especially since PSG recently captured France’s Ligue 1 title for the fifth time in the last six seasons.

It’s still unclear when the PSG x Jordan collection will be available but the new Champions League season kicks f in September and that seems as good a time as any to release such a collab.

It was a historic moment as Cristiano became the first player to ever reach the 100-goal milestone for a single club.
