Waka Flocka is also in support Union for her decision to stand up against discrimination but he believes that people should be boycotting NBC for their actions. NBC allegedly made comments about Gabrielle Union’s hair, physical appearance, and clothing choices on the show and Waka believes that she was in the right for not changing herself to appeal to the executives. “That’s our people. That’s who we are. They want you to change who you are, that’s up to you to change. It’s not up to you to complain. Don’t change, keep it movin’. Expose it, keep it movin’,” he said. “If you want change, you gotta bite bullets.”
Waka went on to applaud her for her selflessness in order to stand up against discrimination. “It should be your job to stand for what you stand for,” Waka said after he was asked if Union had a job to educate the ignorant. “People will let you know how they feel about you through their] actions]. And that action they took right there is obvious is fuck.”
Although he’s apologized for his remarks in the past, on Tuesday, Justin Bieber publicly shared his regret using racist language years ago. In 2014, a video the pop star surfaced that ensnarled Bieber in controversy. The clip showed a young Bieber singing “One less lonely n*gger” repeatedly as he and his friends laugh. Then he sings, “If I kill you, I’ll be part the KKK, then there’ll be one less lonely n*gger.”

In another video, he is seen with friends as they record him telling a joke. “Why are black people afraid chainsaws?” a young Justin asked with a smile. His friend answers, “Don’t even say it.” The singer goes on to mimic the sound a chainsaw with the words, “Run n*gger n*gger n*gger n*gger.” After the clips came to light years ago, Bieber recognized his lack awareness, and it seems as if he’s being confronted with his racist comments once again because he acknowledged his mistakes and spoke out again racism on Instagram.
“When I was young I was uneducated and found myself saying really hurtful things not knowing the power my words,” Justin wrote. “Racism Is still very prevalent and I want to use my voice to remind we are all human being and all EQUAL VALUE BEFORE GOD!” Check out his controversial clips below.
A family in Louisiana is calling out Chuck E. Cheese’s for alleged racist behavior after an employee in the iconic mouse character appeared to ignore their daughter, who is black.
Damon Payne filmed his 3-year-old daughter, Dynver, trying to hug and greet Chuck E. multiple times on their visit to the restaurant in Metairie, LA on Monday in celebration her birthday. However sadly, the little girl kept getting turned away from the mouse as he looked to purposely greet other white children instead her. “You don’t see her?” Payne can be heard asking the employee. “She’s right here.”
After their visit, Payne posted the video to Facebook with the caption, “MY KIDS WILL NEVER STEP FOOT BACK IN Chuck E Cheeses. #racismdoesntcarewhatage. Please do me a favor share this and tag anybody with power she didn’t deserve that. That’s at the one in Metairie, LA.
When he showed the manager the video, the restaurant fered him and his family 50 free tickets to redeem at the gift shop, which is just down right disrespectful.
The following day, on Tuesday (Nov. 26), a different manager contacted him and said the company’s policy is for the character not to initiate contact with a child. “Our cast members are trained not to initiate physical contact with the children – in case they are afraid Chuck E.,” a representative from Chuck E. Cheese said in a statement. “We want to assure our guests that we take great measures to protect the experience all children and families have in our restaurants.”
Halle Berry’s really giving her all to her upcoming film Bruised. The 53-year-old actress recently had to take some time f from production after she was injured from doing her own stunts on set. “Just know I’m far from tired. I’m wide awake…and just getting started!” she said. By the looks recent photos, Halle has now pulled in another injury that’s in the form a black eye. However, sources report that the bruise was just some makeup for her to get into character as she approached the set.
Bruised follows the story Jackie “Justice” a former MMA fighter who heads back to the ring in an attempt to get her life back on track and regain custody her son. The movie also marks Halle’s directorial debut.
“It’s just where I’m at right now and what my message is all about,” Halle previously stated the movie. “Being a certain age, it’s about dealing with ageism and] racism — defying all the rules and telling people none that matters, you can do exactly what you want to do. You can define who you are.”
Christian McCaffrey is a bad dude. The guy pretty much leads all running backs in every major category this year, rushing TDs (12), total yards, and yards per game. And he does this all week in and week out, disregarding who the opponent’s defense is. They’re all vulnerable to his speed and power, and now the league is starting to recognize the greatness that is CMC. Yesterday, during their game against the New Orleans Saints, teammate and all-Pro lineman Gerald McCoy decided to give his RB some praise, calling Christian the most skilled white dude in NFL history.
“Thats a bad white boy. Most skilled white dude in NFL history… I said it. Hands down, I said it,” McCoy says in the clip on sideline. “That’s a bad white boy right here,” he concluded.
Of course in true online fashion, people took the statement out context and turned into a race issue in the comments. One person wrote “imagine hearing a white boy say that’s a bad black boy right there,” while another added, “Racism. I love the double standards in America.”
Check out the clip for yourself (below) and let us know what you think! Is Gerald right?
On November 14, a 14-year-old student at Naperville Central High School allegedly took a photo a black classmate and posted it on Craiglist with the caption that read “Slave for sale (Naperville)” and included other racial slurs. The teen – who will remain unnamed since he is a minor – has been charged with two counts a hate crime, both felonies, and one count disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor, Naperville police said in a statement. He appeared in juvenile court on Wednesday, but reportedly did not speak during the hearing. Prosecutors called the allegations “serious and aggravating,” and said the alleged actions put the victim’s safety at risk.
Police started investigating the incident when they learned it four days later, but the victim’s mother found out what happened the following day. Tamara Wallace received multiple calls at work, one them being from the perpetrator’s mother who described her son’s action as a “bad prank.” According to Wallace, the two boys were close friends in junior high, but recently had a falling out.
“He didn’t know what was going on,” Wallace said. “He was the butt jokes for days.” A classmate approached Wallace’s son and told him, “I’ll buy you for a dollar.” Wallace shared that she was extremely disappointed in the school for only giving the teen who made the Craiglist post a two-day suspension and for initially attempting to handle the situation internally. According to The Chicago Tribune, she said the boy’s actions deserve more than a school suspension and she is thankful that the police got involved.
The mayor the Chicago suburb where this took place, Steve Chirico, issued a statement Wednesday condemning “any acts racism or intolerance in Naperville’s borders. I want us to be known and applauded for being the caring, inclusive, and welcoming community I see firsthand every day, not as a place where hate lives,” he said. “Naperville needs to showcase our leadership in speaking out against racism and make it known that our legacy is one diversity, inclusion and civility — not hate.”
We all know that Diddy, more than anything, is a media mogul that has put a concerted amount effort into highlighting the experiences Black and Brown people across America. His network REVOLT is currently carried by Comcast as one a few minority-owned networks. Comcast is still facing allegations using discriminatory practices. Byron Allen claims the company refused to carry his channel but still carrying “lesser-known, white-owned” networks.

In the Supreme Court, Comcast tried to use Diddy and REVOLT as an example being inclusive. Diddy quickly slammed them for mentioning him in court, saying, “While it is true that we are in business with Comcast, it is not accurate to use my name or my network as an example inclusion. I do not want my name to be used inaccurately so I must speak my truth,” he wrote.
“In its efforts to get the lawsuit filed by Byron Allen dismissed, Comcast has taken a legal approach that could weaken fundamental civil rights protections,” Diddy continued. “The Civil Rights Act 1866 section 1981 was designed to ensure Black people are able to do business in this country and not be denied because race. Comcast is arguing that this law only applies if racial discrimination is the only factor that leads to a refusal to do business, which would be extremely hard to prove. If they are successful, it will become much harder for any victim discrimination to seek justice in court.”
Halle Berry is the lead star in the upcoming Bruised film that follows an MMA fighter who heads back to the ring to get her life together and regain custody her son again. Halle is known for fronting her own stunts and yesterday it was reported that production in New Jersey was halted after the actress was injured.

“Halle got slightly injured in the fight,” executive producer Bruised, Brian Pitt, said. “She’s tired. She needed a break. Occasionally what’s going to happen is an actor might get a little injured, and we might adjust scheduling around them a little bit.”
Halle has now shared a statement on Instagram, thanking everyone for the well wishes and making it clear that she’s far from tired. “hank you to all the folks that have showered me with love since my injury. It’s par for the course when you do your own stunts, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Just know I’m far from tired. I’m wide awake…and just getting started! 💪🏽🙏🏽 #BruisedTheMovie,” she wrote.
“It’s just where I’m at right now and what my message is all about,” she previously stated the movie. “Being a certain age, it’s about dealing with ageism and] racism — defying all the rules and telling people none that matters, you can do exactly what you want to do. You can define who you are.”
Maury and Jerry Springer are high up on the list guilty pleasures. Unfortunately, their trashy television has been exploiting vulnerable groups for ages and there’s no doubt that both shows have been accused their fair share racism. Although that narrative hasn’t been prominent in recent times, Chuck D Public Enemy took some time to remind the masses that those two shows exploit young Black people. He even went as far as suggesting the government pays the two shows to do just that.
The line between entertainment and exploitation is very thing and Chuck D thinks that both shows should be categorized as the latter. He shared his thoughts on Twitter, claiming that the federal government actually pays shows like Maury and The Jerry Springer Show to capitalize and exploit young Black people. “Just how much the fed$ pay these old white dudes like Maury & Jerry showtiming young folks dysfunctional sht on Air …especially young blacks. Beware elder media Nucointelpro buzzards hovering. Everything ain’t entertainment in fact it’s exploitation,” he wrote on Twitter.
Will.i.am is accusing a Qantas flight attendant of racism because of the way she acted toward him and other “people of colour” during a flight to Sydney from Brisbane.
According to will.i.am, the flight attendant in question singled him out when he did not hear an announcement broadcast on the plane asking passengers to put their laptops and other devices away.
This led him to post the following tweet to his nearly 13 million followers:
“I’m currently on a flight from Brisbane to Sydney. I’m sorry to say me and my group have experienced they worse service due to a overly aggressive flight attendant . . . I don’t want to believe she racist. But she has clearly aimed all her frustrations only at the people of colour.”
In response to the allegations, Qantas issued a statement in which they thoroughly denied the charges.
They said, “There was a misunderstanding on board, which seems to have been exacerbated by will.i.am wearing noise cancelling headphones and not being able to hear instructions from crew.”
The spokesperson added, “We’ll be following up with will.i.am and wish him well for the rest of the tour.”
Will.i.am’s troubles did not end with his tweet. After the plane landed in Sydney, the airport police questioned him about the incident.
This led to another tweet from him: “I was intimidated by 5 police officers when I landed . . . for what? I put away my laptop when she asked . . . why would she feel threatened by me to call the police? What did I do wrong? I wasn’t out of hand. I was polite & did what she asked . . . now you’re asking me to take abuse?”
Will.i.am also posted on Twitter the name of the flight attendant and her image, along with the image of one of the police officers that questioned him. Though he also asked his followers not to target the woman.
The recent targeting of a Postmates delivery woman by Lizzo on Twitter led to a against the singer.
UPDATE: Qantas is threatening legal action against will.i.am if he does not retract the racism allegations. “Absent a retraction, and if the crew member wanted to take the matter further, we’d certainly be willing to provide legal support for them to do this,” a Qantas spokesperson just told CNN.

On Thursday (Nov. 7), an anonymous blog post appeared on Medium that detailed the racist company culture at Facebook. The post was apparently written by a group past and present employees that claimed the racist culture particularly affected black, Hispanic and female Asian employees. This is not the first time the social media company has been accused fostering a racist environment in their fices. In November 2018, a former employee called out Facebook for having a “black people problem.” The recent anonymous post claimed that things have only gotten worse since that accusation was publicized.
Several instances racism in the workplace were shared, but the post also highlighted the general problem: “Racism, discrimination, bias, and aggression do not come from the big moments. It’s in the small actions that mount up over time and build into a culture where we are only meant to be seen as quotas, but never heard, never acknowledged, never recognized, and never accepted.”

The day after the post went up, Facebook executives responded with an apology. “No one at Facebook, or anywhere, should have to put up with this behavior,” Bertie Thomson, Facebook vice president corporate communications said in a statement. “We are sorry. It goes against everything that we stand for as a company. We’re listening and working hard to do better.
50 Cent is up to his usual social media antics. This time, he’s taking aim at Tank once again.
On Wednesday (November 6), the Power mogul shared a photo of Tank rocking a pink “Pride” hoodie and wrote in the caption, “yo my man Suga Tank said you not gay if you suck [dick] once or twice. what kinda shit is going on?”
Tank cleverly replied with a promo for his album, commenting, “Make sure you get the #1 R&B album in the world “Elevation”! @50cent if you play my album you won’t have to buy yo girl shit to fuck.. Let me help you.”
Fiddy’s comment was in reference to a recent interview Tank did for Angela Yee’s Lip Service podcast. At one point, the topic of oral came up. Tank said experimenting with the same gender doesn’t necessarily make someone gay.
“He sucked a dick once, and then he’s like, ‘I’m not sure if I liked it or not. Let me try it again,’” he said. “And then he says, ‘You know what, it’s not for me. Don’t like the taste,’ see what I’m saying? It doesn’t mean he’s gay, it means he sucked dick twice.”
Tank was subsequently dragged from here to kingdom come and accused of being a homoual, which prompted a response from the R&B singer.
“I said what I said, ya’ll so goddamn homophobic,” he replied. “You got to watch the whole clip. In any event, homophobia is real, let me just tell you that. It’s just as real as racism, classism, all these things, and just as damaging. And it plagues our community the worst. This can’t be used as a negative. You can’t use a human being’s existence as a negative. We’re going through enough shit.”
Tank later hopped on Instagram to let his 1.6 million followers he wasn’t affected by any of the negativity.
“Unbothered because #1 isn’t concerned with any other numbers,” he wrote in the caption, referencing his Elevation album’s No. 1 placement on Billboard’s R&B chart. “Also unbothered cause I really look like this.. They don’t!”
Bernie Sanders is currently taking the lead in the political race in America but one recent comment he made may have set him back just a little. The 78-year-old stopped f at South Carolina HBCU Benedict College on his campaign trail and was asked by a Black male student for some advice. “If I were your son, what advice would you give to me the next time I’m pulled over by a police ficer?” the student asked, as seen in the video below.
Michael Ciaglo/Getty s
“Identify who the police ficer is …] and I would respect what they are doing so that you don’t get shot in the back the head,” he answered, making it clear that ficers have to be responsible for their actions.
As we know, there’s been endless video pro Black individuals who have very well respected an ficer’s inquiry but it still leads to unfortunate deaths innocent individuals.
“Sen. Sanders has no clue what it is to be young, black and male (or female, or just black) Being polite and respectful to police ficers doesn’t stop their bullets (or systemic racism) Please refrain from dispensing schmaltz to our youth Bernie,” one Twitter user responded. Peep more responses below and let us know what you think.
Sexuality is a topic social media conversation that never fades as it is constantly, in some form, a trending topic. On Tuesday, a video began to circulate R&B singer Tank‘s recent visit with Angela Yee and the ladies Lip Service, and a few his remarks surprised the public. The singer took time away from the Sketchbook Tour with Fantasia, Robin Thicke, and The Bonfyre to chat with the podcast about a variety topics, bu men performing oral on other men somehow became the highlight.
In full context, the group was talking about if a man lies to a woman once or twice, it doesn’t necessarily make him a liar. Angela posed the question that if a man performs fellatio on another man once or twice, what does that make him? According to the singer, it doesn’t mean that man is gay. “He sucked a d*ck once, right? And then he’s like, ‘I’m not sure if I like it or not. Let me try it again.’ And then he says, ‘You know what? It’s not for me. Don’t like the taste.’ You see what I’m saying?… It doesn’t mean he’s gay. It means he sucked d*ck twice.”
After the clip was distributed throughout social media, Tank took to his Instagram to clarify a few things for naysayers. “I said what I said!” he yelled with a laugh. “Y’all so gotdamn homophobic. You gotta watch the whole clip. In any event, homophobia is real, let me just tell you that. It’s just as real as racism, classism, all these things, and just as damaging. And it plagues our community… This can’t be used as a negative. You can’t use a human being’s existence as a negative. We’re going through enough sh*t. Don’t do that. I get it. You want to call me gay, whatever. I don’t have to defend that to you or to anybody. You don’t have that power over me, but let’s get back to positivity.” Check out a few mixed reactions below.
