Lil Xan Slid Into Noah Cyrus DM's Before They Started Dating

Earlier this summer, Lil Xan revealed that he was dating Miley Cyrus’ little sister, Noah. It seemed pretty random for a lot people but in all honesty, they do make a good couple and they seem pretty happy together. They two them have been sharing some pretty cute pictures together on Instagram recently but many people wondered how they ended up meeting in the first place. Noah Cyrus recently opened up about their relationship and revealed that it all began with a DM.

Over the weekend, E! News caught up with Noah Cyrus at the 2018 Teen Choice Awards. While she seemed a bit shy to talk about her relationship with Lil Xan, she did reveal that Xan first made his introduction to her through a DM.

“Xan slid into the DMs. It works, people,” she said. “He DM’d me like in February and I didn’t see it for months and then I saw that he was following me and I was like, ‘Lil Xan, cool, he’s following me. I’ll follow him back.’ And then I saw his DM and we’re just hanging out making music.”

Around the time the two them began showing each other f on social media, Lil Xan actually previewed a snippet a track that the two them were working on. Not sure when we’ll be hearing that but Noah did say it’ll be coming “really soon.”

Cardi B Takes Home "Choice Hip-Hop Artist" At Teen Choice Awards

Despite the fact that hip-hop is arguably the most popular musical genre in the world, an overall scan the Teen Choice Awards winners seem to indicate a rather milquetoast affair. In truth, hip-hop is far from properly represented, despite the fact that teens Nationwide no doubt worship the ground rappers walk-on, leading us to wonder, which teens are actually choosing these winners? In any case, only a few rappers found themselves securing the dub, including wins for Cardi B and Young Thug.

While Thug was awarded for his contributions to Camila Cabello’s “Havana,” the main award went to Cabello herself for “Choice Song: Female Artist.” Cardi B found herself taking home on the night’s biggest honors, the “Choice R&B/Hip-Hop Artist” award. Again, an examination the categories and winners doesn’t exactly suggest a nuanced approach, though fans the genre should take wins where they are given. Congrats to Cardi and Thug for this one.

Although not hip-hop, Marvel’s squad had a big night, with victories to Chris Hemsworth, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlet Johansson, Letitia Wright, Infinity War, and Black Panther. Peep the full list winners here.
