The kicks are currently fetching nearly $500 on average, which is nearly four times as much as the $130 that they retail for. The limited edition collab comes equipped with a number unique details, including a woven, nylon upper decked out with CLOT’s signature logos. Additionally, the 1s feature a Chinese token-inspired lace dubrae that spells out “Jordan,” a fadeaway Nike swoosh as a nod to MJ’s legendary jumper, and hidden gold detailing underneath the wear-away upper.
There are some things in science that you don’t want to find out exist…and this is one them. According to CNN, Chinese scientists have discovered a “monster” black hole that is simply so large it shouldn’t even be in existence. The hole is called LB-1 and is 70 times greater than our sun in mass, which is an astounding discovery since it was previously believed that black holes could only have a mass 20 times our sun. The stellar-black hole, which is the type that is created after stars “die, collapse, and explode,” is located 15,000 lightyears away.
The head the team that found LB-1 Liu Jifeng said, “Black holes such mass should not even exist in our galaxy, according to most the current models stellar evolution.” He added, “LB-1 is twice as massive as what we thought possible. Now theorists will have to take up the challenge explaining its formation.”
Scientists are uncertain as to how this hole came about but theories have been put forward. One is that it was not just the collapse one star that created the hole but that LB-1 is two black holes orbiting one another. The other theory that has been considered is that the black hole was created from a “fallback supernova.” This type supernova, which is in the last stage an exploding star, creates a black hole after it “ejects material during the explosion” and “falls back into the supernova.”
The “monster” black hole LB-1 is not the largest black hole ever discovered but is possibly the largest its type.
Odell Beckham Jr. thinks the NFL is discriminating against him, making him the latest NFL player to throw shade at the NFL’s drug testing policy. After NFL Thursday night’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, OBJ claimed that he’s being targeted by the NFL through random drug tests. He claims that the NFL makes him submit to two drug tests a week. “The NFL] made me come in Monday when we had an f day. Had a drug test,” Beckham told Cleveland.com. “Made me come in Thursday after the game. Had another drug test. Every week, twice a week.” The frequency seems a bit excessive. “Nobody is getting tested like me. I know people who didn’t get tested for five months in the fseason and I’m getting tested every time,” he continued.
Beckham has also called out the NFL for scrutinizing his attire on the field. During a game against the Denver Broncos this season, the NFL instructed Beckham to change his cleats at halftime or sit out the rest the game. The NFL rule book states that, “a player may wear shoes that are black, white or any constitutional team color, or any combination black, white and a constitutional team color.” Do you think the league is coming down too hard on OBJ?
This season has been an exercise in futility for the Golden State Warriors as it seems as though their whole team is injured and their world is crumbling before their very eyes. It’s been a horrible stretch to start the season and last night, the Warriors lost yet another game, this time at the hands the Utah Jazz. When you’re always losing, it is very easy to get frustrated and that’s what happened last night as Draymond Green was ejected.
It all started when he made contact with Jazz point guard Mike Conley. The ref called a foul on Green and it was safe to say he was upset about it. Green ended up walking over to the referee where he gave him a piece his mind. This led to the first-ever ejection in Chase Center history.
For context, the Warriors recently moved to the Chase Center in San Francisco after decades playing at the Oracle Arena in Oakland. So far, the Chase Center hasn’t brought many good memories for Warriors fans and this first ejection is just one many disappointments to come this season.
Hopefully, for the upper-middle-class Silicon Valley Warriors fans that grace the Chase Center every night, they will begin to improve sooner than later.
Michael Vick is one the most iconic quarterbacks to ever play the game thanks to his unique blend running and passing the football. Due to legal reasons that are well-publicized at this point, Vick lost touch with his career and when he came back to the NFL, he wasn’t able to reclaim his status as one the best in the league. Despite this, Vick still knows a ton about the game and when it comes to the topic quarterbacks, he is exceptionally knowledgeable.
During a recent appearance on FS1’s Speak For Yourself, Vick spoke about the struggles Bears QB Mitch Trubisky who has been awful this season. As Vick explains, the team should think about changing the fensive playbook because it’s obvious that Trubisky doesn’t feel comfortable out there.
“I think the worst thing for Mitch right now is to be benched,” Vick said. “He’s in his third year, and he’s an investment. For some quarterbacks it takes time. But I’ll say this, it’s Matt Nagy’s decision, and Matt Nagy is responsible for Mitch Trubisky. He’s responsible for making sure that this guy can go out and play better than what he played (vs. Eagles).”
Whether Trubisky is able to regain his confidence remains to be seen although it will certainly be one the biggest storylines as the season rolls on. The team is at 3-5 and their chances making the playfs continue to get slimmer.

“As for my departure, I engaged in a recent consensual relationship with an employee, which violated McDonald’s policy,” Easterbrook said in an email to McDonald’s employees. “This was a mistake. Given the values the company, I agree with the board that it is time for me to move on. Beyond this, I hope you can respect my desire to maintain my privacy.”
After Easterbrook’s removal, the company said Chris Kempczinski would be taking over as CEO.
“I am excited to take the reins this incredible company and grateful for the Board’s confidence in me,” Kempczinski wrote in an email to employees. “I am particularly fortunate to be surrounded by such a talented team as we take this brand into the future.”
Easterbrook had been CEO at McDonald’s since 2015. During his time in charge, the company saw an immense rise in the share price. It has gone up 96% to $193.94 since 2015. Under Easterbrook, McDonald’s implemented self-order kiosks and digital menu boards, all-day-breakfasts and more.
When it comes to the gold standard success in the NFL, the New England Patriots would have to be at the top that list. Over the last 20 years, they have won six championships while Tom Brady and Bill Belichick have made for the best player/coach duo in sports history. When you consider how dominant they are, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that athletes within the sport are lining up to try and play for them.
Odell Beckham Jr. is currently on the Cleveland Browns but thanks to comments made Mary Kay Cabot cleveland.com, it seems like OBJ would do anything for a chance to play for the blue, white, and red.

“Two, three years ago there was a whole speculation and all that was going on and I was willing and ready to go over there at any point in time,’’ Beckham said. “That was always a dream mine to play for Tom Brady — Tom Brady and Bill] Belichick.’’
These comments are made even more interesting thanks to the fact that the Browns play the Patriots on Sunday. While Odell’s commitments are to the Browns, he certainly seems to have a ton admiration for his new opponent.
Selena Gomez is opening up about her battles with mental health. As reported by Today, Gomez admitted that anxiety and depression took their toll on her. At the time her speech on mental health, Gomez was accepting the McLean Award from McLean Hospital in Massachusetts honoring her for her work in advancing the public’s understanding mental health. “It felt as though all my pain, anxiety and fear washed over me all at once, and it was one the scariest times my life,” Gomez stated. She received mental health treatment last October for anxiety and depression a year after she had a kidney transplant as a result her battle with lupus.
“Although this does not mean that it has all gone away, I can say that after a year a lot intense work I am happier, I am healthier and I’m in control my emotions and thoughts more than I have ever been,” Gomez continued. “I have feared being misunderstood and judged. I know that I have been given experiences and people and opportunities that have made my life exceptionally beautiful and sweet — and yet I struggle with my own thoughts and feelings at times. But this doesn’t make me faulty. This does not make me weak. This does not make me less than. This makes me human. We need help, and we need each other.”
According to the Huffington Post, Rob Cohen, director The Fast and the Furious, has now been accused ual assault by a second woman. Earlier this year, his daughter came forward to condemn him for ual assault as well. His daughter claimed she was molested by Cohen at a young age.
The new woman, identified as Jane, claims Cohen pressured her into drinking to the point losing consciousness during a business meeting about a TV pilot. Jane then woke up naked in Cohen’s hotel room as he was assaulting her. She fled to the bathroom where she gained her composure. Cohen then attempted to assault her once more as she exited to the hotel.
Medical records confirm that Jane sought treatment for ual assault after their meeting.
Rob Cohen does admit to meeting Jane four years ago but continues to deny any accusations ual assault or misconduct. Cohen’s lawyer Martin Singer responded with a 13-page piece saying, “The proposed Story is an outrageous defamatory hit piece, making extraordinarily fensive assertions that my client engaged in heinous ual misconduct, criminal wrongdoing, and other inappropriate behavior, which are vehemently disputed and denied by my client.” Singer also advised the Huffington Post against running the story “in an effort to feed the ‘Me Too’ media frenzy with this salacious Story.”
Pitbull was known as Mr. 305 for quite some time before switching it up to Mr. Worldwide. The Latin artist put Miami on his back for years, so it would make sense for him to at least make an appearance in the upcoming Superbowl Halftime Show. Shakira and Jeniffer Lopez will be taking the stage at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami for the Halftime Show, and according to TMZ, Pitbull is in talks to join them.
The Halftime Show is being arranged by Jay-Z’s RocNation. The fact that RocNation had the insight to put Latin music on the center stage in Miami was perfect and shows Jay’s influence is helping the NFL become more aware their musical audience. Without Jay, I wouldn’t be surprised if the NFL booked Elton John instead. While there’s nothing wrong with Elton John, having Latin artists represent in Miami makes much more sense. According to TMZ, the brass over at Hard Rock Cafe International are pushing for Pitbull to make a guest appearance at some point during the Halftime Show. The media site also reports that their source over at RocNation claims there will be a few surprises. Which Miami artists would you want to see hit the Halftime Show stage?
Almost all Kanye’s sneaker collabs hold some value on the resale market, but the 700 V2s have proven to be among the least pritable Yeezy silhouettes. For instance, the “Hospital Blue” and “Inertia” colorways hover around the $315 mark, only slightly more than the retail price. Meanwhile, other Yeezy Boost 700 V2s on StockX, such as the “Tephra” and “Geode,” can be had for under retail. The outlier is the “Static” colorway that dropped in December 2018 – that pair fetches $460, on average.
The newest Yeezy Boost 700 V2 is dominated by the light blue shade that smothers the entire silhouettes, including the upper, tongue, laces and chunky midsole. Like previous 700 V2s, the Hospital Blue colorway is highlighted by reflective detailing spliced throughout the mesh, leather and suede construction.
Just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse for the Carolina Panthers, well, simply put, it has. The team has started the season 0-2 and in those first two games, Cam Newton didn’t play like himself. The MVP-winning quarterback has been having a rough campaign so far and now, it’s gotten even rougher. We reported yesterday on how Newton didn’t practice due to a lingering foot injury. There was no word on the extent his injury and whether he’d have to miss time but according to safety Eric Reid, it might be more serious than originally expected.
While speaking to reporters, Reid confirmed that Newton is currently in a walking boot. The Panthers have not confirmed whether or not Newton will be able to play on Sunday, although it’s clear that he isn’t feeling his best right now. This is a horrible development for the Panthers as they are trying to pick up their first win the season and Newton gives them their best chance to do so.

Since the start his career, Newton has suffered numerous injuries which have kept him f the field for long periods time. Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck retired from the NFL this past fseason thanks to his lingering injuries and some fans are worried that Newton could do the same.
If you’re a Panthers fan, this can’t be how you imagined the season playing out.
After this past weekend’s mass shootings tragedies in El Paso and Dayton that took the lives 31 innocent individuals and injured dozens more, a Walmart employee in San Bruno, California has organized a walkout to protest the store’s gun sales. Walmart is one the largest gun and ammunition retailers in the world and its for that reason why Thomas Marshall contacted more than 20,000 employees and started a petition.
“Of all the gun tragedies, this hit the closest to home for a lot us,” the 23-year-old told CNN. “I felt like I had to do something or else I would really be complicit in a company that was continuing to sell firearms.” The Change.org petition is just a handful signatures away from hitting its 50,000 goal, directed at Walmart CEO Doug McMillon.
“We would like to see Walmart take a unified and public stance against guns and gun violence. We urge our leadership to cease the sale all firearms and ammunition, ban the public open and concealed carry weapons on company property and in all stores, and cease WALPAC donations to NRA backed -A/A+ politicians,” the petition reads.
Marshawn Lynch recently hosted his “Fam 1st Family” football camp in the Seattle area, which ended with some controversy as a couple parents objected to the way Lynch was treating their kids.
The incident in question began when Marshawn sent a few the campers to run laps after they refused to take part in one the drills. According to one the kid’s mothers, Lynch also cursed at the group, telling them to get the fuck f his field. A number parents ultimately pulled their kids f the field and went home.
As seen in the footage obtained by TMZ, the former Seahawks star ran up into the stands at one point to explain the situation, but he created even more controversy by asking one the moms, identified as Stephanie Siva, if there was a man with her that he could speak to.
“It was very sexist,” Silva said. “And it was like ‘What, you can’t conversate with a mom?’”
Lynch later hopped on the mic and fered an apology.
“I wanted to say I apologize to the young lady that took f,” Lynch said. “She’s probably ran f already. But, that is no excuse for what I got going on on this field.”
“When they on this field, they belong to me. But, as soon as I’m done, you can have them back. And you can do what you going to do.”
Boston Red Sox supporters can breathe a long sigh relief with the knowledge that David Ortiz has been released from Massachusetts General Hospital yesterday, as per ESPN’s Enrique Rojas. While the purported motives behind the attack that led to his hospitalization are hard to discern, news David Ortiz’ safe return home is most certainly a fitting endnote to this month-long debacle.
“David has been home since Friday,” a member Ortiz’ family told Rojas. “At home he will be assisted by full-time nurses and will be visited regularly by his personal doctor. He will continue to undergo all the treatment and rehabilitation necessary to recuperate from his recent injury and surgeries.”

Since being struck by a hitman in his native DR, Ortiz has undergone a total surgeries to repair the laceration, the last which occurring two weeks ago. Local authorities have arrested a whopping 14 individuals in connection with the shooting incident. The spiel making the rounds is that Ortiz wasn’t the intended target the hitman. The intended target was said to have possibly slept with the maiden a local kingpin. Rumor has it, the unsuccessful hit cost the kingpin $30,000 American, f the rip. Rumor has it….
