Vogue released its November 2019 cover on Wednesday morning, starring none other than Rihanna. During the cover story, Rihanna spoke about her upcoming album, new Fenty Line, turning down Super Bowl halftime performance for Colin Kaepernick & more. She was even asked about her thoughts on Donald Trump, which RiRi didn’t hold back.

Rihanna was asked about Trump’s claims “mental health” being the reasons for the recent mass shootings, but she says that’s BS. Rihanna says Trump is racist and believes if an Arab men was the culprit the mass shootings, Trump wouldn’t say its “mental health”. In fact, Rihanna goes on to say Trump is one the most mentally ill human being in America right now.

“That should never, ever be normal,” Rihanna said when asked about her reactions to the recent El Paso and Dayton attacks. “And the fact that it’s classified as something different because the color their skin? It’s a slap in the face. It’s completely racist . . . Put an Arab man with that same weapon in that same Walmart and there is no way that Trump would sit there and address it publicly as a mental health problem. The most mentally ill human being in America right now seems to be the president.”

NHL Announces a Major Two-Year Partnership With Green Day

The National Hockey League (NHL) recently signed Green Day to a two-year partnership that will see the legendary California punk-rock trio provide their music to NHL games and programming.

“Fire, Ready, Aim,” a song from Green Day’s upcoming album, Father of All…, will be used as Wednesday Night Hockey‘s opening track beginning on October 9th. The song will also be utilized during this season’s NHL on NBC games. Plus, other songs from Father of All… will be featured in NHL promos, commercials, and replays.

And as if all that wasn’t awesome enough for Green Day (and/or NHL) fans, the band has also agreed to perform at the 2020 NHL All-Star Game, which will take place on January 25th.

In a statement, the NHL’s Chief Content Officer and Executive Vice President, Steve Mayer, said, “Green Day is the perfect band for the NHL,” and Green Day said (also statement), “This NHL season is hereby known as LOUD season.”

A short video announcement of the NHL-Green Day agreement can be viewed here.

Aside from lending their high-octane music to the NHL, Green Day is recording a new album and preparing to embark on the Hella Mega Tour, a stadium tour that will also feature Weezer and Fall Out Boy.

The 46-show concert series will visit 22 countries between March and August 2020.

In a testament to the tour’s significance, all three of the involved bands have announced new albums, which will presumably boast hard-rocking songs that are well-suited for play in stadiums.  Father of All, Green Day’s 13th album, will drop on February 7th, 2020; Weezer’s Van Weezer will release on May 15th, 2020; and Fall Out Boy’s Greatest Hits: Believers Never Die – Volume Two will be available on November 19th of this year.

Green Day is widely considered to be one of the greatest punk-rock bands of all time. The three-piece group, comprised of Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt, and Tre Cool, has sold more than 85 million records.  They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2015.

The Game Perfectly Sums Up His Love For NBA 2K With "Paid In Full" Meme

NBA 2K20 is finally here and people have been going crazy over it. The thing is, now that the summer is over and the cooler weather has arrived, people feel far more inclined to stay in than go out and NBA 2K is the best way to spend your time until the summer comes around. Even then, NBA 2K is just great all year around.

Now, some women might be upset that a video game is now taking their man’s full-blown attention but The Game, who’s an avid fan the game, took to Instagram to explain what the commotion is about. Taking a clip from the hood classic Paid In FullThe Game lets Mekhi Phifer’s character, Mitch, explain it.

“I love the game. I love the hustle. I feel like one them ball playin’, n***as, you know? Like Bird or Magic or something,” Phifer says in the clip. “Yeah, you know a n***a got dough. I can leave the league but if I leave, the fans still gon’ love me, man?”

“When a girl asks me why I like playing @nba2k so much,” he captioned the post.

Needless to say, Game is dedicated to the game. Notice how he hasn’t been promoting his upcoming album that much since NBA 2K came out? It could be a coincidence but it doesn’t seem like one.

JPEGMAFIA Recorded 93 Songs For His Upcoming Album

JPEGMAFIA shared a video on YouTube in which he previews songs from his upcoming album for one hip hop’s hottest producers right now, Kenny Beats. JPEG and Kenny have previously collaborated on the track, “Puff Daddy”, explaining their good rapport in the video. They take cough-inducing dabs while they crack jokes and Kenny gives feedback on two new tracks. Before playing the music, JPEG informs Kenny that he recorded 93 songs for his upcoming album. Although, he originally intended to record 89, as that is the year he was born. The additional four songs were “an accident”.

The first song that Peggy played for Kenny was “Jesus Forgive Me, I’m A Thot”, which was released last week. Kenny was visibly mind-blown by the Veteran rapper’s production chops. JPEGMAFIA explained that he usually makes all his songs in one sitting, in his home, alone. The second song he played was titled “Ice Box”, which has not yet been released. Kenny was impressed once again, and described the song as what would result “if the dark web got a hold your beat and spit it out” – largely due to the obscure samples used. Another sample used was fire. JPEG struggled to provide a more in-depth explanation what this meant, but it seems like it provided a crackly texture to the track. His usual sense humor is present, a notable bar being: “I stuff a glock in my bitch pocket”.

There is no word on when the next JPEGMAFIA album will be released, but it may be titled The Disappointment, as he keeps referring to it in this way. Watch Kenny Beats be disappointed below.
