Tekashi 6ix9ine and Nicki Minaj recently joined forces for “FEFE” and now, the Queen has revealed that she’ll be bringing her rainbow-headed friend on the road for the “NICKIHNDRXX” tour alongside Future.
Nicki Minaj hit Instagram to announce that Tekashi 6ix9ine will be opening for her and Future on the “NICKIHNDRXX” tour this fall. Nicki Minaj and Future announced the tour back in June. Since then, Nicki’s been making her fans guess who she will be bringing on the road with her as an opener and it seems like she has three artists in total. While 6ix9ine is now confirmed, she’s yet to announce who the other three might be.
“@6ix9ine_ is 1 the 3 artists that @future and I have added to the #NickiHndrxx WORLD TOUR.” She wrote on Instagram.
Both Nicki Minaj and 6ix9ine seem to have a pretty good relationship with each other, although it only became public knowledge that Nicki knew who 6ix9ine was this past weekend. The two them have been jokingly flirty with each other on Instagram since the release “FEFE.” Earlier today, 6ix9ine posted a shot from the “FEFE” video with Nicki and dubbed it “relationship goals.”
Aside from going on tour with Nicki, 6ix9ine recently vouched to donate a percentage sales from “FEFE” to youth programs after his robbery this past weekend. Hopefully, he keeps to his word.
Despite having a major influence on a whole generation artists, it’s been rare to see Chief Keef go on tour. Much that has to do with the numerous legal issues he’s dealt with earlier on in his career that have unfortunately had an impact on his ability to travel. But it’s 2018 and pretty much anything is possible with technology. Regardless travel limitations, the rapper, or atleast his hologram, is coming to a city near you.
Chief Keef’s isn’t allowing his travel restrictions stop him from connecting to his fans. According to Billboard, the rapper is set to embark on a worldwide hologram tour that will kick f in London. Keef and Hologram USA Inc. have linked up to announce the “Chief Keef And Icons Of American Music” tour. The show will last for 90 minutes and start in London on August 31st and September 1st before hitting his hometown Chicago and embarking on a tour across the U.S. The details on the U.S. leg has yet to be announced.
Back in 2015, the rapper tried to host another hologram concert in Hammond, Indiana which was ultimately shut down.
“Police and the mayor wanted to stop my hologram show in Chicago. Fuck Rahm Emanuel, I’m bringing it anyway. First up, London,” Chief Keef said to Billboard.
In addition to a holographic performance from Chief Keef, Tupac, Biggie, Snoop Dogg and N.W.A are among other artists set to make cameos during the concert.
